Great experience. Will go again.
Beautiful place to sleep with lots of wildlife to see on the porch.
Everything was perfect. Didn't need anything more. If we had money, I rented monthly.
The house was neat. Everything needed is there. Had a wonderful stay. Will definitely visit this house again.
The house was full of cobwebs in the corners of the rooms, dead bugs on the roof, blinds in the kitchen were full of dust and dead bugs. The roof fan is full of dust. The shower's soap holder screws are loose and hanging askew. The plastic shelf in the shower is dirty. The toilet in the lower room is leaking water. The floor of the outside porch was dirty. The mattress is done.
Yes, we had a great stay and spent most of the time in the wildlife park watching the animals along the river. We also had a barbecue. I was able to charge my tablet's data and use it at night since there was no TV set.

Stayed nice and quiet.
Very nice stay for the 2 nights. Would suggest making the stairs by the pool safe. It is incredibly slippery and dangerous when wet.
House was well lobcated, enjoyed the abundant game at the house. Cleanliness of house not up to standard, duvet and pillows dirty, cupboards in need of repair, cobwebs throughout house, bath silicon needs replacement, windows very dirty. Some chair cushions and pillowslips torn/worn out.
Very nice place to stay. The house has everything one needs. The pool is a big plus, definitely!
We had a great time and rested, but the house needs maintenance inside and outside on the premises. Some of the furniture was worn and dirty. Cupboards inside were also dirty.
One gets rest for the soul. The nature is picturesque.
The house is nicely furnished with everything you need to get away from the city's hustle and bustle and have a good time. We really enjoyed and appreciated the boma especially during loadshedding - they can't turn off the bushveld TV. The host also constantly kept us up to date with the happenings in and around Marloth - many thanks for that. Unfortunately, the cleaning services did not clean everything beforehand, but fortunately this did not affect our enjoyment of our stay.
Just want to mention that the aircon in the upper room trips the aircon downstairs when you turn it on. So only one aircon in the room works. Rest of house too hot. With loadshedding, a large light will be appreciated instead of using a mobile phone.
The cottage was smaller than we thought but had everything we needed. The fridge/freezer was off when we arrived and with the December heat and load shedding crisis we struggled for a long time to get the fridge/freezer cold to prevent things like meat, milk, etc. get bad We struggled with the air duct upstairs - there was a lot of water dripping inside the room and the air duct was struggling to cool. The cottage can also benefit from a proper cleaning for insects and other vermin. The braai area is definitely the best part of the house. We had a great time outside and really enjoyed the pool, and animals that came to visit.
Very nice rest and relax. Wildlife abundant and nature very beautiful.
Wonderfully private and surrounded by natural native bush. Easily accessible from Marloth Park's main road. Close to center but not too close, just convenient. Very nice owner. Everything one needs is there. Lots of wild animals that come to visit the house. Nicely rested here. Very close to Krokkedilbrug Gate of KNP.
It was amazing! Relaxing and being with the wild life was just great. Had a few visits from buck, bushbabies, mongoose and warthog.
3875 Eagle is good value for money, the shower was slightly unreliable probably due to the small geyser and the door at the top of the stairs was hard to open. Other than that I would highly recommend it as accommodation.

Everything was neat and clean upon our arrival. Very considerate owner. Put ice in freezer and the air conditioning was wonderfully cool. We will definitely visit the place again.
3875 Eagle is situated in such beautiful spot in the park where many animals roam. We had a family of warthog and 2 wildebees that spent the nights sleeping next to the house and we could hear the lions roar each night too. The park has a beautiful look out spot and is nice and close to the Kruger gates. Truly a perfect getaway.
The facilities were adequate, comfortable, clean and in working order. The animals around the house created a peaceful atmosphere. Only issue that can get attention is the shower's hot water system. It could work better.
Very comfortable house with many animals that come to show eyes. Nighties are the cutest.
The blue wildebeest, kudus, warthogs and night monkeys were an experience.
Safe, spacious and deliciously cool on hot days. House has everything you could need. Close to the shops but you don't hear any traffic.
Thank you to Hillary the owner for a lovely stay. We had everything we needed, and your personal touch made it feel like a home away from home.
The owner contacted several times to see if everything was OK. The animal visits were out of this world. Had a lovely stay.
It was very pleasant to visit 3875 for a few days. The animals came to visit regularly.
The house is very comfortable, well equipped and the host is very helpful and quick on her phone to answer questions. We didn't lack anything and our weekend was very nice. The animals also often come to the house and the night monkeys were also nice to see! Only downside for us was that we were close to the shopping center and main road which is very busy during long weekends and school holidays. This results in the cars making a lot of noise as they drive up and down the main road. But other than that I would recommend the cottage for sure.
It was the perfect affordable getaway. Neat and everything you need in one place.
There was a problem with aggressive bees that remained after removing their nest which made it extremely unpleasant over the weekend and 5 out of 6 people were stung that could have caused a serious health risk, at least one of which had to visit a doctor.
Very nice house, saw many animals that came to drink water. Close to the ice cream shop and for that something that was forgotten at home.
Thank you for the lovely accommodation which met all of our needs. Great to sit outside and enjoy the animal visitors.
See star rating.
Appreciated proximity to shops and tar road. House well appointed and comfortable. Animals and birds a real treat. A lovely 10 days.
Very clean and comfortable, will definitely stay there again.
I was very impressed with the unit, just one observation though, some of the coffee mugs are cracked and should be replaced. Other than that I will definitely be back early next year.
Animals that came to say hello were very tame. The night owls came to entertain us at night and eat food out of hand, even in the trees with their nimble jumps and comfortably on our shoulders to beg for food.
Good organization by owner. Check-out time is just a little early.
Guests must be advised upon booking that pool use is not made until after payment, seeing that all the surrounding properties' pools were full. With the climate it would have been great to be able to cool off.
Will break away to Eagle again anytime. Had a great time, listened to the animal sounds at night and really enjoyed the pool. Clean, affordable and tidy.
The cottage does need attention with floor tiles that can come loose in several places. A few outside floor tiles were broken. The kitchen parts that can be painted need some paint. Bed linen clean. Peaceful with the various animals that visited us.
It was a pleasant place, very well equipped. Just a pity the pool didn't have water in it. Especially with temperatures that were above 35 degrees. But otherwise it was a very very pleasant place and we found the place easily and everything we needed was there and our stay was pleasant. We saw many animals and the cottage is located near the shops etc.
Was really nice, would like to stay there again, the wildlife near the house is something special.
Will definitely want to go again. Everything was just right for us.
A pleasant place to stay.
Good area, nice boma and braai area. Animals were plentiful around the house, enjoyed until late at night.
Accommodation needs attention. Shortcomings commicated to agent. Unit really needs attention. Otherwise wonderful nature experience.
We enjoyed our stay. It was what we paid for. No expectations of grandeur. Just the basic amenities. The rental agency or property managers should pay closer attention to the cleanliness but other than that we had an awesome stay.
The house is very nicely laid out. The master bedroom's bed was not made so we had to sleep in the guest room and therefore we could not use the deck. The house was not very clean when we got there. Biggest problem was that air conditioner didn't work, and after agent was contacted, he made no effort to have it fixed quickly.
All documentation received indicated that keys may be received up to and including 19H00. After many calls we finally got hold of the person from whom the keys were to be received and the person was quite rude and made it very clear to us that keys are only received between 14H00 and 18H00. When we arrived, the unit was by no means tidy and the cutlery was certainly not clean - the tongs, some of the plates and cups were certainly not clean and we had to wash the cutlery and floors of the unit on Sunday morning. The unit itself is very well located, good value for money and it is extremely nice to relax there. We would like to use this unit again at any time, but would strongly recommend that persons responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of the unit are more receptive and that the unit is in a clean and tidy condition, when visitors arrive.
It was great, tidy house, lovely central location close to shopping centre.
The little double story house is very charming and the resident bushbaby just adds to its charm. I would definitely recommend 3875 Eagle and will most definitely want to holiday there again!
We enjoyed it thoroughly, but guests with children might find it nicer if TV reception was available.
Was great to break away from the rat race of life and to experience the tranquil atmosphere of nature.
Upon our arrival, we were immediately greeted with the beautiful sight of a group of roe deer, the large ewes with many lambs and soon also a group of kudus, zebras, large baboons and warthogs. At dawn the next morning while we were standing outside enjoying coffee with a biscuit, zebra's child came to ask for a bite of biscuit followed by a whole warthog family. It was a great experience for us old city lads and recommend the park without hesitation.
Awesome place to stay. Returned well rested after a week-end in a nature spot like that.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely want to use the house again.
Wonderful place to just relax with your family in peace. Good alternative for accommodation for a visit to the Kruger Park. The house was clean and neat and was perfect for the two of us.
Wonderful experience and lovely, peaceful environment. Only thing that I can suggest is that more attention is payed to the cutlery - most of it was dirty and had to be washed before we were able to use it. The fridge and cupboards were covered in dust and can be cleaned before guests arrive. The bed is old and we weren't able to sleep comfortably...feels like someone is poking things into your back and it was very uncomfortable. All the other things made up for that and we were able to look over it but we recommend that the owner look into it.
The house was everything that was promised. And we had a good time. Unfortunately had to check out a night earlier due to personal reasons. Only 2 negative points were the air conditioner which the customers could not/may not use because the control was not available. And no precautions were taken, or advance warnings given, for the daily power outages at Marloth.
The house is beautiful and beautifully equipped - all the facilities are available. It was just not clean. The fridge and freezer was full of finger marks and dirty, the fan had a layer of dirt second to none. Every time we switched it on, dust would be propelled into the room. The bin was disgustingly dirty with just a black bag in it. The lady we got the key from (not the owner) wasn't very friendly.
It's the first time in my life that wild animals come so close to me. Eating corn out of my hand. Warthogs come to visit us on the stoep. Tails penorent. The location is excellent. Feel safe. It is open and you can see what is going on around you. Well located, with excellent customer service.
The stay was nice. Although there were not many animals, a few made their appearance to come and see if they would get something to eat.
The bird and animal life was a real treat for us city dwellers. We saw warthog, zebra, kudu, wildebeest, giraffe and impala to name most of them, but for us the real treat was seeing the nag-apies each evening. Birds birds, birds ... what a delight ... who needs the Kruger.
Please see the stars.
It is an experience to be in nature like this, and to be able to see and experience domesticated wild animals around you. Food for your soul.
Our stay was very nice, looking forward for the next vacation!!!!
Food for the soul, tranquility.
Very nice setting. Good stay.
