It is a beautiful place and very neat. The owner's people in the big house were very friendly and pleasant. Had a great stay there and will definitely go there again and highly recommend. For us it was very pleasant and peaceful and we could rest well with no noise, with only the sound of nature and the animals. It was a pleasure to see.
Mariette and Barry were excellent hosts. The studio unit has got everything you need, to the smallest details like earbuds and cottonwool.

On our 1st morning we had a giraffe standing right next to the patio, such an unforgettable sight. The studio is also just a short walk away from the river. Mariette and Barry were wonderful hosts. Definitely would recommend staying here.
What a lovely place. The whole setup is cleverly planned and extremely well equipped. There is absolutely everything you could need. The solar power is a winner and so is the WiFi. The television setup worked great and the visiting animals were a bonus. In addition, the Wildlife Park is just around the corner. To sum up Marloth Wild Fig: "Clever, very clever".

It was really nice, very neat and clean and all the facilities are good. Will stay there again for sure.
The house is well equipped and clean. We often walked and cycled. Wildlife is abundant and the unexpected visits of a goat, nightingale, etc. was great No noisy neighbors nearby and the owner helped within minutes with advice where needed. Will definitely vacation there again.
Location is excellent, accommodation, five-star fashion, lots to see. It was just a pleasure to be able to stay there.

Only negative. When you make a fire in the braai, the smoke enters the house and then it smells like straw.
Was truly the right place for us to spend the night to show our son the Kruger. Although we were only checked in from the Saturday, my mistake, we arrived on Friday afternoon, and the owner immediately understood our situation and helped us out. The boma fire in the evening was a highlight for my son, especially when the warthogs came to say hello. We will definitely visit again.
It was a wonderful experience. Mariette and Barry are so hospitable and helpful. The studio was spotless and well equipped. We will definitely use Wild Fig again and can recommend them for great service and hospitality.

Very nicely located for en-route to Kruger Park.
Would recommend the place to anyone, place very tidy and you feel so relaxed when you are there.
Good location walking distance from the river. Delicious forest experience with animals that come to drink water. House is neat and well furnished. We felt very safe. Owner made a lot of effort to make us feel welcome and also left bananas for the magpies that we could give, as well as food for the zebras. It was an exceptional experience to experience how they come to eat. The braai place was also lovely under the stars with good lighting. Would definitely recommend it. Good value for money.
