The double-storey thatched house comprises 2 bedrooms with double beds on the ground floor and 1 open-plan room with a queen-size bed on the first floor and a three-quarter bed in the upper lounge. If necessary, an extra single bed can be provided. The downstairs bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower and separate toilet. On the top floor is a separate toilet and an outside bush shower on the top deck.
There are air conditioners in the two ground-floor bedrooms, and fans in every room, including a ceiling fan on the top floor. The air conditioners are pre-paid, but some units are uploaded for guests to use. If guests require more units, they can purchase them.
There is a spacious lounge and dining area above and an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped and a washing machine is available. The sitting area above has comfortable seating and is equipped with a television with DStv access. Guests must please bring their own decoder and Smartcard card. Free WiFi is available.
There are wooden decks around the house on the upper floor where guests can relax, watch the wildlife and over 300 different species of birds in the area, feed the bush babies and enjoy the wonderful nature and beautiful sunsets.
Downstairs is a big patio with a table, a comfortable sofa and chairs. It also features a deck with a splash pool, a braai area as well as a boma to a campfire.

13 guests' feedbackWe had a lovely stay and Santa was very helpful and kind. A lovely quiet spot where we could enjoy the animals coming to visit. Loved the little family of 5 bush babies that came for bananas each evening.
The highlight was the visits from the animals and the children who could feed the animals.

Animals all around and the most adorable bush babys. Very calm and relaxed, will definitely book there again.
Our visit at Marlothii Safari House was very pleasant. The person responsible: Santa was very nice and made us feel at home from the start. Our children really enjoyed the wildlife. The warthogs, kudus and zebras that came to say hello on the veranda was a good experience for them. I will definitely visit them again if we arrange a weekend break in that area.
Thank you Santa for wonderful welcome and care. We had a great time, were in Kruger during the day but enjoyed the tranquility of Marlothii in the evening. The house is well rested, everything needed is there. The night monkeys and "Genet Cat" were a bonus and also all the other animals that came to say hello. Would definitely recommend Marlothii.
The accommodation is nice, well equipped with everything you need. I would go back to Marlothii again anytime. The reception and service was wonderful and the night monkeys and animals that came round were wonderful. I would recommend Marlothii anytime and you don't find Santa's hospitality anywhere. What a lovely home in the bush! We enjoyed a long weekend stay in August and loved every moment. The quiet of the bush, being visited by Giraffe, Warthog, Kudu, Zebra and a beautiful first sighting for me a beautiful large-spotted genet. Early evening we heard the lions and hyena's from across the Crocodile River. The resident bush babies were so beautiful to have visit us while sitting around the fire in the evenings. Marlothii Safari House was equipped with everything we needed and more and Santa was extremely helpful and informative. I highly recommend Marlothii Safari House, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Santa!

We had a great week at Marloth 1483. It's a beautiful big house with a very nice big terras and swimming pool. The house has everything you need. Every day we had warthogs visiting and zebras. Santa is very nice and makes you feel right at home. She even lend one of her cars to use, so we could visit Lions Spruit and other areas! We had such a great time and will definitely book Marloth 1483 again if we are on vacation in South Africa. Thank you so much for a wonderful time Santa!
