So many little things that made our stay so special. The view is magnificent. Mel and John are fantastic hosts. Would highly recommend.

Certainly one of our best bookings. The studio is so tastefully decorated and well equipped with a stunning view of the Knysna Lake. Everything is of the best quality and we were so surprised by this lovely place.

Very nice stay. The residential unit is comfortable and very beautiful. The hostess is very helpful in pointing out restaurants with special offers and general information. Received with cold meat, juice, milk and bread in the fridge, as well as a plate of dinner which was very special.

The decor is very beautiful and stylish. Melanie really went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The snacks etc., were a big surprise. I really recommend Mary's Window to everyone. You won't regret it. There are 2 units to choose from, the studio for a smaller group of people, and then the family suite for larger groups. But book and go see and experience this gem for yourself in Old Place, Knysna. We will go back there again!
The unit is very tidy and Melanie honestly goes out of her way for you. The unit itself has everything you need and more. The place is very clean and tidy. A lot of effort was put into the decor. The hostess really thinks of everything to make your stay perfect. We really enjoyed our stay.
The view is what you sleep here for.
The only issue we had was that the original unit we were booked into was up a steep flight of stairs. This potentially negative aspect was not mentioned in the advert, but should be mentioned. We would not have booked this unit if we had known. As I have just had a knee replacement operation and my wife also struggles with climbing steep stairs, the access was a real problem for us. After one night in this unit, the owner kindly arranged for us to swap to the second unit, which does not involve climbing stairs. Our comments above are based on our stay in the second unit.

I give Mary's Window definitely a 5 star, I had everything which was needed. Mary's window has an amazing view over Knysna.
Not only was the service excellent, but the apartment has a beautiful view of Knysna and had everything and more we needed for a comfortable weekend getaway. The extra effort made with snacks, good coffee and a fireplace in the living room all contribute to Mary's Window being definitely worth recommending to anyone looking for accommodation in Knysna.
The place is very modern, neat and very well equipped. We were welcomed with open arms and had a wonderful time.
We had a great stay, John and Melanie were very helpful and friendly. Will be back again.
