The rooms are very neat and clean. It is safe.
I stayed there in winter. It was extremely cold and there was no heater/air conditioner. There was only one very light blanket and then a duvet cover. I could not sleep since there was loadshedding from 10:00pm. I could catch some sleep when power returned due to the electric blanket.
The outside lights are extremely bright during the night and cannot be turned off. The sharp light shines through the door and window curtains.
It must first and foremost stated, we did enjoy our stay at Mascot Guesthouse. . The facilities were as advertised, the photographs however depicted a room/living space larger than what was received. Also, most regretably, the bedsheets had black spots and what appeared to be rust/mud spots.
The hospitality of our hostess stands out. It was a family reunion and we had the opportunity to have a good time in a clean and well-kept place.

Accommodation was neat and comfortable. Braai facilities were definitely a bonus.
To say "room" is an understatement. It felt like a small apartment, with more than enough space! Definitely value for money and the place is beautiful.
We had a great stay! It's nice and quiet and the rooms were neat and homely.
We only came late at night and left early the next morning, so we couldn't linger long to make an elaborate comment. But what we needed was available: power, water and a place to sleep. The extras made us feel very welcome.
Can't complain about anything, nicely decorated and clean, But I think it's "over priced" for the location and layout of the place.
Room was very neat. They made us feel very welcome. DStv was very limited. Mascot went out of their way to make sure we got the place and if everything was ok. Excellent service.
Although our stay was pleasant, we did not enjoy being woken during the night by the owner's barking dog, it needs to be kept inside at night.
