I was there for the weekend to pick up furniture that my late father had. I just needed a neat little place. My wife found Masinga Apartment which was close to everything for us. And was just right for a 2 night visit.
Good stay, a nice area, close to shops and convenient.

Please foresee that everything is sorted before guests arrive. There was no gas on our stove, but that got sorted out. Otherwise, the stay was simply amazing, also the area is so quiet. I recommend this apartment.
It's a great place in a great location.
The owner is so friendly and hospitable.
Just the bathroom door needs to be adjusted so the light can be switched on before entering it. The door was also not working properly, so we had to leave it open and rather close the bedroom door and just use the solar torch light when using the bathroom.
Masinga's self-catering unit was clean, cosy and comfortable. The private braai area is definitely a bonus.
When we arrived, we advised Pieter that the DStv wasn't working and he "tried" to fix it and promised he'll return after loadshedding but never returned. We didn't have any access to the TV for our entire stay, which was very disappointing. A few suggestions: apartment requires TLC, the toilet leaks, the toilet door kept coming off its rail and the sleeper couch was incredibly uncomfortable.
It was comfortable, and felt safe, needs some painting on bathroom roof. Bed was comfortable, kitchen OK, and TV package was good, overall its not bad. Will make use of the facility when needed again, nice and close to airport and my daughters place of stay.
I had time to recuperate. As a nurse, I work hard and day one was a blessing. 2nd afternoon and night my noisy neighbours really got to me but I will still go back anytime.
My wife missed a place where she could dry her hair by a mirror. Your wooden bench on the porch is rotten. One cannot sit on it.
Everything we needed for period
I really enjoyed my time at Masinga Apartment. It was clean and I felt safe in the area it is based, everything else was so convenient. I would definitely recommend the accommodation.

To Pieter and his wife - Thank you! Your place was everything we needed and was truly a home away from home. Your location is convenient and 10 - 15 minutes from everywhere. We loved it. We will definitely be back.
This place is homely in a nice quite environment. The owner is always there to help whenever there is a need. Recommended.
Good location, and has all the basics.
Firstly there were no-one to receive us and you have to call for someone. If they were to look after the place it would be quite pleasant. After our complaints Pieter came to remove the carpet and fixed some stuff, but this caused for a less than pleasant experience. Location is good as it's close to the airport. We would, however, be quite scared and careful to make use of the accommodation again.

Well located guest house, nice and spacious. Linen crisp and fresh and beautifully clean, the owner and manager very willing to help if needed and I would highly recommend this guest house. Thanks for the lovely 5 days we spent relaxing here.
