The cottage was absolutely perfectly equipped and felt like an inn. The outdoor pool was an absolute highlight! The hostess was very friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend this place, it was fantastic!

We had a great time together at Matjiesvlei Retreat Oudehuiskloof Guest House! Everything we needed was right there. The linen was especially a treat! Thanks also to Marieta for all her extra effort with items we accidentally forgot there. I definitely recommend the getaway spot.
Very neat house. Everything one needs. Unbelievably beautiful nature and nice silence.
Peaceful venue, feels nice and remote and out in nature, but is still within easy reach of Calitzdorp. Plenty of hiking and MTB options close by.
Stunning cottage, great location.
WiFi was not available and air conditioner remote control batteries were dead, so could not be used. Would be nice if there were screens in front of windows so they could be opened overnight.
