Had a great stay.
Small, but a small table with chairs would be better. Now no table and only one chair and trays for dining convenience, and the bed must be used to sit on. Small table outside can be made more attractive. Wind is sometimes troublesome and cannot be eaten outside. The large hanging cabinet can be halved to make more room for a dining area. The braai facilities are not comfortable either.
Mauritz Kaya is perfect for someone who wants to switch off a bit. Comfortable with enough WiFi and everything to meet your needs.
The accommodation unit is small, one person would stay more comfortably, I would suggest replacing the mattress, it is old and folds in towards the middle. Furthermore, we enjoyed the visit and got a lot of information about Jacobs Bay and the surrounding area from our hosts.
Basil and De Lint received us kindly. Went out of their way to make the stay pleasant for us. Beautiful surroundings. Nice walking routes along the sea. Enjoyed the tranquility.
Area is very nice peaceful and quiet. Very safe environment. Place of rest, everything one needs. Owners are very hospitable and friendly. Very nice stay.
Just a pity Jacobs Bay no longer has facilities e.g. restaurants etc. not.
The view can only be seen from the roof of the apartment and is accessible by steep stairs on the outside. This is also where you can barbecue. However, the wind was too fierce and we couldn't use it.
Nice stay, nice area, accommodation comfortable for short periods.
Basil and de Lint were wonderful, natural hosts, who did everything in their power to make the stay as pleasant as possible.
