We had an awesome stay in the Mayfair Family Cottage. It is spotlessly clean and has everything one needs for self-catering. We will definitely stay there again when we have to go to Oudtshoorn.

Very beautiful and big. Very large and everything you need and extra. Pair of springboks make you feel like you are in nature. Centrally located outside town but close to everything. From ostrich farms and lions to the Caves. We couldn't do and see everything. Nice braai place and far enough from the other houses. Slept like a baby. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we will definitely be stopping there again. Would really recommend it to everyone. Free Staters just don't ride on the grass. Hahahahaha.
The cottages are designed and appointed with a lot of attention to detail. They are new and in excellent condition. The setting is on a farm with the added bonus of some "tame" springboks in the area around the cottages. The cottages are spaced far apart so you don't notice your neighbours. The cottages were spotlessly clean for our arrival with a small surprise gift. Definitely, a place to stay if you're visiting the region and want to use Oudtshoorn as your base.
The cottage is well designed and was equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. Truly a hidden gem.

I would highly recommend these cottages to anyone who would like a peaceful Karoo experience. These cottages are perfect for overnight or longer stays, not to mention the Springboks walking around bringing an even more calming atmosphere. Thanks for the hospitality Niel and Helena, we will definitely visit again and again.
We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the accommodations and the helpfulness of the owner/s. It also feels very safe and worked well for family of 4 with 2 small children. We had our own cot for the 1 year old). Very good value for money and a good position to explore Oudtshoorn from.
The unit is fully equipped with everything one needs. It rained nicely and the dirt road was still passable. Will definitely stay there again.
We would recommend Mayfair, we had such a nice stay, it was very tidy inside and out. Goats walking in front of your house, so it was picture perfect, we will holiday at Mayfair again.
The house is more than equipped for a short or long stay. Situated in a beautiful setting. Mornings hearing the lions from Cango wildlife transports you to any safari stay. Will be back soon. Thanks for your hospitality.

Mayfair is 'n lekker wegbreek-plekkie. Baie rustig, pragtige uitsig en ook lekker natuurlewe. Sal beslis weer gebruik maak van Mayfair Cottage! Die eienaars is ook baie aangename mense, hulle het seker gemaak dat ons alles het toe ons inklok.

Very quiet, modern, safe with a lovely porch to admire the springboks. Welcome gift on arrival. Owners very hospitable and follow up without intruding on privacy. Definitely worth visiting (again).
The location great. Less than 10 minutes from town, but absolute silence. Make Mayfair a special place with everything you need. Space and well equipped.
