63 guests' feedbackWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at McGregor Blue. Very comfortable and clean, with all the extras for self-catering. The washing machine and dishwasher were an added bonus! All the air conditioners (during load shedding) and battery-operated fans, and splash pool were very welcome in the 35 degrees heat in January. We also had great service from the local security company who promptly sent out a snake catcher to assist when we spotted 2 Mozambique spitting cobras close to our verandah. The biggest bonus was being able to feed and interact with the local wildlife every day. A truly wonderful experience.
We had a really nice stay. Everything needed is in the house. The house is comfortable and within walking distance of the shops.
McGregor Blue was very neat and clean. The house was comfortable, spacious and equipped with everything you need, and even the few things we forgot to pack. It was a wonderful getaway in a well-refrigerated, beautiful unit. We will definitely use this accommodation again.

It doesn't have a pool, we were bored in that house, at least if they add a pool, it's needed.
When we arrived everything was tidy, the pool is a plus especially in the heat, maybe just put a blind in the main bathroom because you can't shower in the evening with the window open. Other than that we had a great stay and will definitely go again.

So nice and quiet. Every time I go outside there is a different animal or bird to see. The whole atmosphere is calm and there are no children running around screaming, nor is there any loud music and people. The house alarm is not working. Every now and then the security keeps coming and saying they received an alarm. while there was no error. Furthermore, the stay was very nice.
Marloth is beautiful with all the animals. Lots of animals/birds and the night monkeys were a feast.

This is our second time at McGregor Blue. The unit is well furnished, very tidy, well located and the pool is a bonus. It's a lovely unit with small children as there is enough space and the one bathroom also has a bath and a shower. The unit also has a lovely stoep and braai area. We only had a little trouble regulating the hot water in the master bedroom's bathroom.

I will for sure stay at this lodge again. This was a wonderful stay with my fiancé and our children. Beautiful house, clean the area is beautiful we saw a lot of different animals.

I had to clean the aircon filters and the aircon in the master bedroom. The other 2 are still to be done. Master bedroom's bathroom lacks a blind. Will definitely stay there again.
The unit is very well equipped and thank goodness for the air con and pool. We had the best time and enjoyed it tremendously.

We as a family had the most wonderful weekend in McGregor Blue. Everything you need in a self-catering cottage and extra. Clean, tidy and very comfortable. Close to both centers and nice and cool in the woods. I get hot easily, but when I was in the house I completely forgot about the heat outside. Even without the aircon on, it was cool and we had a good time on the porch. Note that there are enough aircons to cool you down. We had a visit from a herd of giraffes on Saturday and a herd of kudus on Sunday that my kids could feed. It was absolutely incredible and I was very grateful for the opportunity to experience God's nature in this way. Will definitely come pack here again if we are given the opportunity. Thanks McGregor Blue, my soul is rested again!
Great location, lovely house with everything you would need, and the game that just walk up to your stoep to say hello is such a wonderful sight.
We really enjoyed our time there. There is everything and more that one needs. Air conditioning in all the rooms, a dishwasher and a washing machine were a bonus.

We enjoyed our stay here. The road was rather busy as we were here over the New Year holiday period so animal visits were scarce, but we did have visits from impala, warthog, kudu and bush babies, and a good variety of birds. On a drive around Marloth Park we came across a herd of giraffe and some zebra. The place is very convenient for Kruger Park visits via Crocodile Gate. The plunge pool is large enough to seat about 8 people - great for chilling out with a sun downer. McGregor Blue is recommended for couples or families. There is an extra cottage available.
Good value for money. Extra's like lighters, mosquito repellents, cleaning materials and games were provided which was nice. Would have liked to have a back porch from where to watch out over the parkland but that is my individual preference. Swimming pool, aircon and watching the bushbabies made for a memorable stay!

McGregor Blue offers excellently appointed accommodation. It is very affordable. Hostess thinks of everything and anything to ensure a comfortable break. Have fun on the porch, sit and watch all the wildlife that passes by. Bird feeders with buckets of food were a bonus. Will definitely visit again.
We loved our stay at McGregor blue. The owner left books, DVDs and many other extras which made it a home away from home. We were very grateful for the excellent owner communication. We spent several wonderful days exploring the Kruger National Park.
We really enjoyed our stay in a well equipped lovely house with everything we might have needed. The surroundings, although very dry at the moment was just the thing for the perfect break away from the city.

We enjoyed the house a lot. The second bathroom is definitely a bonus. A few animals came to say hello in the afternoons. Kitchen is well equipped, would just ahve liked a broom and mop and something to clean the braai with. After two days if you are staying for 5 days you want to clean a bit while you're there. What was not so nice for me is that on the last day they give you until 10 to check out, but the cleaner was there at 9 already. It makes you feel hurried to pack everything and get out. We had just finished eating and wanted to tidy and calmly ensure everything was packed before 10. With the cleaner standing waiting it makes the packing up quite difficult and very hurried. Thanks for allowing us the use of your house.

We thoroughly enjoyed the few days in Marloth Park. You still experience the feeling of the forest, but with the comfort of your home. The night owls came to hang out on our porch while we barbecued meat and the giraffes, goats and warthogs also came to visit our little house. It was an unforgettable few days and McGregor Blue will definitely see us again in the future!

Spent a wonderful weekend at McGregor Blue and will most definitely be going back! In the evenings we could hear the lions roaring, had a bush baby in the tree in the deck, loved that the zebra and warthogs were in the garden and was even able to touch the Zebra! Couldn't have asked for anything more! Liza was an absolute pleasure to deal with.
