8 guests' feedbackMcGregor Cottage was a joy to stay in! The best host we've ever had. His attention to detail, efficient service, and little surprises made our stay even better than we'd anticipated.
It was the perfect break from the "rat race". It was lovely to sit on the veranda with a book and a freshly baked bread from Café 51. My little dog (a pug) thought the garden was heaven. There are interesting places on the high street, all within a short walking distance. The cottage is beautiful inside - the host has clearly put a lot of effort into making it nice and comfortable.

Lovely house, everything you need and close to the main street with restaurants.
Lovely, peaceful atmosphere and can recommend it! The Cottage is tastefully furnished and everything you need is available in the kitchen! Nice bedding and towels. Hanging out on the porch with a glass of wine and a view of the beautiful garden and mountains was where we spent the most time. Bought delicious bread and cheese from 51, enjoyed with the wine from Lords wines!
The McGregor Cottage is a beautiful little house with a nice garden and a lovely porch to hang out on. What really made this visit particularly enjoyable was the host who went to great lengths to make us feel welcome. I would highly recommend the place!
