Situated in the south-western area of the Park, Mdluli Safari Lodge offers guests an experience inspired by the rawness and beauty of the African bush.
Mdluli Safari Lodge is equipped with 50 double en-suite tents. Each tent has a spacious, private patio with views into the park. All tents are fitted with 2 three-quarter bed, which can be combined into a king-size bed on request, as well as air-conditioning and indoor and outdoor showers, a toilet and twin washbasin. The tents also feature coffee- and tea-making facilities, and a double sleeper couch for children under the age of 12 years.
The Lodge’s contemporary and eco-design seamlessly integrates into the landscape, creating the perfect backdrop to an authentic and unforgettable safari experience.
The lodge has an infinity pool overlooking the park, and a rock pool at the base of the granite rock formation. There is also a bar at the base of the large rock formation. The lodge also offers a spa, a gym, conference facilities for up to 20 delegates, a spacious bar and lounge overlooking the watering hole, and separate boma areas for large and small group dining. Game drives and guided bush walks are conducted with experienced rangers, operated with Echo Africa Safaris.
The development is a 50-50 partnership with the local Mdluli Community, and every guest’s visit indirectly goes towards up-skilling and uplifting the community. It is a blueprint for community development projects in South Africa.
