Activities available from Meadow Lane are mountain biking trails starting 2km away, bass fishing in a small dam, scenic walks, a zip line, petting the ponies, swings and trampoline as well as Kayaks for the kids.

We were pleasantly surprised. Beautiful accommodation and surroundings were incredibly beautiful.
Fantastic place to go and relax!. The accommodation was very neat and big - we were spoiled with a wood fireplace - thank you. The house was very private and our bus had secure parking. Thank you Lesley for the opportunity that we could spend the night at your place. It's breathtakingly beautiful with the river and trees that rounded off the painting. Will definitely visit again, but for longer!

Lovely house surrounded by trees and lots of feels. Enough walking space. Country feel. Close to Sani Pass if you want to ride the pass.

The only reason for the 4 star on cleanliness is not that the place wasn't clean. It was up to standard (in terms of price, etc.) but that the paint in the bathroom of our cottage was coming off and there were patches of mould on the wall from the water/shower mist. Company was great. People were great (we didn't see anyone). Location was great.

Love Cottage is beautiful and has a romantic atmosphere. You feel like you are on a farm with the peacocks, cattle, horses and birds. Lesley goes out of her way to make your stay special.

It was very peaceful and the place where we stayed was neat and clean. The people working there were all very nice. A very nice break from the city noise and safe for the children to run around and enjoy themselves. In the evenings you can sit in front of the fireplace and they have a good selection of DVDs that you can choose from while your bed is warmed by the heater blankets they put on the beds. It is so quiet in the evenings, you don't hear crickets or birds. In the morning you are greeted kindly by all the different birds, even the peacocks that are there come up to your porch and eat the breadcrumbs you give them and there are also 3 beautiful puppies that come to say hello. Honey (1 of the puppies) is always ready to walk with you and the children really enjoyed feeding the 2 horses and donkey carrots.
The house was clean and tidy. Nice to watch video near a fire in the cold evenings. Meadow Lane is close to many things in the area.
I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

The place is small, but neat, except for the bathroom. It looks really bad and you don't really want to go near the bath. The "mould" is very bad. The carpet in the living room was also burnt.
Cottage was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Bathroom needs some upgrading but otherwise quite acceptable. Surroundings are beautiful, peaceful and very well maintained. Hosts are friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a break from the everyday hustle and bustle of life, this is the place to go. We will definitely visit again if we are in that area.

Lesley was very efficient, helpful and friendly. She accommodated a change of plan and helped manage a family crisis back home. The cottage is well equipped and cosy, especially with a fire burning in the sitting room. The grounds are very pretty and tranquil. The visiting greedy peacocks are a delight.

Very nice overnight accommodation on your way to the Southern Coast,
The hosts are fabulous people and even offered to pick up our race numbers for the Sani Stagger. The venue is super and very easy to reach. I will be staying here again and again and again.
We were a group of 12 friends of which 6 of us were at school together and matriculated in 1972. We decided to travel through Lesotho and drive up Sani Pass and from there to Katse Dam and then back out at Fouriesburg. We slept at Meadow Lane the first night of our tour and it was perfectly situated to set off to Sani Pass the next morning. It was very comfortable and affordable and in a beautiful setting.
Meadow Lane is tidy, safe with hospitable owners. Grace cottage is just right for 2 adults and 2 children, I wouldn't recommend more people. The surroundings are beautiful and you can really rest there. Do note that there is no TV, but I found that to be part of the charm. The accommodation is very good value for money.

We stayed here for the Sani2C races and really enjoyed it. There is a single track mountain bike trail across the road which is a good warm up route before the big day. It's quiet, clean and will definitely stay there before the races in the future.

I stayed in the studio, which was a bit on small size even for a studio. Didn't like the fact cars are parked right outside door. Otherwise a very good stay.
We found Meadow Lane neat, clean and friendly and the whole property absolutely stunning and memorable. We felt that we had made new friends and would certainly return, especially to the two bedroom cottage. Both bathrooms need attention.
We were a family of 10 adults (30 to 80yrs) and 5 little ones (6mnths to 3yrs) and everyone found the accommodation to suit them. The cottages, although fairly old, were comfortable and neat. Service was excellent and the management and staff very friendly and helpful. Close enough to Sani Pass for an excursion. We spent a very pleasant week there.

The bathroom was quite nice and the enamel in the bath was a bit chipped. There were also only 4 cups, plates, knives, forks and glasses which must be washed before the next meal.

There was absolutely nothing I could fault, our stay was comfortable, the service was amazing and the cottage was super clean. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the Underberg area - wow!
A great location. Not being religious we were a little overwhelmed by all the bible quotes attached to the trees. Otherwise, a lovely stay.

It's is a lovely place and we enjoyed our time here. The only problem was directions, as we were not told it was about 120km after we branch off at R617 off ramp. However, it was a lovely stay after we arrived.
It was very peaceful. Big disappointment that the fireplace was not in working order.
