We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Meilland Haus Garden Cottage. Martina and Marietjie were very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend it as a great place to stay in Prince Albert.
It was delicious. Such a beautiful cozy cottage with everything you need and more. Everything is of the best quality. Felt like a princess.
The house is very well equipped with everything you need. There is even a "power trolley" so loadshedding is less of a pain. The garden is beautiful and gives peace of mind. Owner is friendly and very helpful.
My wife and I enjoyed a very comfortable 2-night stay at Meilland Haus in the middle of a cold snap in mid-July (snow on the Swartberg Pass). The cottage was warm and cosy, thanks to an open fireplace in the lounge and AC/heating in the bedroom. The cottage is very well appointed with everything we needed. The stoep/verandah has a braai fireplace and looks out over the garden of the main house, there's even a working windpump. Thank you, Martina and Marietjie, for your warm welcome and attention to detail.
Wonderful hostess, very centrally located.
