Lovely and welcoming place with amazing multi tasked and talented staff. Cleanliness excellent, comfort of beds and and cleanliness of bedding superb! The only turn off is the road, especially on a rainy it was muddy but its not far from the tar road. We enjoyed a lot. The breakfast also fantastic and warm. Liked it.
We enjoyed our stay at Meloding Guest House. Their hospitality was very good, perfect dinner, and the place itself is so beautiful. Two days was really not enough for our stay. We will definitely visit the place again very soon. It's a very nice place with good staff members.

You can see the place was good once upon a time; however, it is in need of some general upkeep, cracks on walls, sliding door getting stuck. The staff were incredibly friendly but seemed to be out of their depth with things like the breakfast and general items in the rooms. Has great potential but needs work.
Linen not changed literally slept on the same linen on Friday and Saturday. Having to go out for breakfast was not cool at all (the amount paid was enough to include breakfast). Had to call for the gate to open upon arrival as there was no one at the guardhouse. There is no sign at the guest house (name of the guesthouse). The lady at reception was very friendly.
Stay was good but I was disappointed. The jacuzzi was not working, The balcony was dirty, The sleeper couch was dirty and broken and it had stains on it The carpet and chairs need some deep cleaning as they had stains. Breakfast had the same menu for two days. Overall, I might still go back just to relax as the place is quiet, but I will definitely book a standard room and bring my own food.
I was incredibly heartbroken to find that the Jacuzzi in my room was not working as that was the primary attraction to the venue for me. The couch and chair were broken and the side lamp too. Overall, the staff is friendly and they're well equipped.
The place was beautiful, the staff very friendly and quite helpful. During loadshedding they had a generator to ensure we do not sit in the dark.

We really enjoyed the snooker table, but there was a wasp nest right above the table which made us nervous. The pool was also green which was a disappointment. The bed was fantastic, with the nicest mattress and was huge. The breakfast was absolutely out of the books.
The rooms are equipped with the minimum. The website also does not make it clear that breakfast is not included.
The place is very welcoming. The staff very professional and, most of all, friendly. Food prepared and served was tasty. The chef knows his story.
I was disappointed because the 2 reasons why I booked there did not materialize. It is advertised that there is a heated pool. This was not the case. It is only heated in the winter months. It will help if it is indicated as such on the website. I booked the Honeymoon Suite for the spa bath ─ however it was out of order and the bath had a crack in it. The beautiful view of the woodland was spoiled because the balcony was dirty. There was also a power outage, and this caused the pressure pump to the shower to not work, and while I was showering, the water disappeared. There is also no generator and we had to wait quite some time for candles. However, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast very tasty. The place does need a lot of maintenance, but has the potential to offer very nice accommodation.

I love that place with all my heart, wouldn't mind coming back again. The staff was friendly, the place was clean they should just add some different meals for their breakfast.
Neat guest house with extra attention to the little details. Had a really good night's sleep after a long day's work. The directions to the guest house are not quite so clear but I was able to find the place. Breakfast was delicious!
The place is beautiful and clean as well. The food is out of this world, best service ever. It was indeed the best birthday surprise for my hubby. Zama helped me to organise a romantic dinner which was classy an beautiful. I will go there soon.
Breakfast was good but not outstanding.
Sink faucet broken. Poor water pressure in shower. Had to ask for milk and toilet paper in room. Had to ask for everything during breakfast. TV stations in room predominantly other languages and could not watch any news. Staff need training and bathrooms need plumbing service.
We were well received. The rooms' carpets have marks on them, light switches are very dirty. Our bed sheet had a huge tear in it when we pulled back the sheets to go to bed. Bathrooms are dusty and spots on the soap dispensers, etc. Breakfast was neat and pleasant. Staff very friendly and helpful.
It is a very nice place, new and fresh. Closer to shops. Gorgeous place.

Meloding is the most beautiful place, the service is great. Koos is the best manager. We will definitely come back.

Breakfast was offered but not prepared. We were recommended to make our own breakfast if we wanted. Manager only came in late and offered to make us sandwiches. For the amount you pay per night, you at least expect a decent breakfast. In addition, the toilet did not work. Will not stay at Meloding Guest House again at all.
Phumlani, the guest manager is the perfect person for his position. From our arrival to our departure he was kind, efficient, and made all the guest feel right at home. The restaurant staff were just as efficient. The establishment is spotless and well maintained. We engaged with the other guests during breakfast and everyone indicated that they would come back and inform family and friends of this great find in Bela Bela. You have set the bar high Meloding. Keep it up.
