We offer secure parking facilities, a swimming pool to cool down in and a relaxing braai area. In the garden and throughout the premise you will find 7 beautiful water-features creating a lovely, peaceful atmosphere.
Breakfast and dinner is served at your request and can be enjoyed in the dining room, called 'Ouma Flippie's Plaaskombuis' or outside, next to the swimming pool in the entertainment area. 'Ouma Flippie's Plaaskombuis' embraces a little bit of nostalgia and this dining experience is also open to the public. Come and enjoy fresh bread and homemade jams.
Memra Guest House can also be used as a venue for small functions and we offer a catering, cake baking and decorating; and flower arrangement service too. The well-known KwaZulu-Natal Battlefields and a golf course are in close proximity. A shopping centre and the La Verna hospital are within walking distance.

We had business and needed staff to stay overnight. They accommodated us quick and easy.
Stayed 2 nights, basic amenities, not worth the expensive overnight rates, but luckily there was DStv to watch rugby. Some of the items in the room were damaged, and detracted a lot from the image of the place.
We only had a quick sleepover on the way to the sea, but would definitely recommend.
The location of the guest house perfect. Very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The neat garden was a feast for the eyes!

The warm atmosphere of this cozy place immediately makes you feel welcome. From chocolates on the pillow to air-conditioned rooms and DSTV, the place is a winner.
We were received in a very friendly and helpful manner. The owner helped us settle in quickly. She accommodated us in her new house, away from other guest, which was suitable, as we traveled with 3 year old twin boys!
The place is nice and quiet.
Warmly welcomed. Everything was clean and neat and an excellent breakfast. Very interesting photos and trains.
After a very long day on the road, it was wonderful for us to be received by a very friendly couple who soon made us feel at home. We also really enjoyed walking through the garden and admiring all the artworks and being able to read the thoughts written down in different places. The breakfast we enjoyed was top notch! Memra Guest House is indeed to be recommended for a weary traveler who is not only physically tired, but also needs new inspiration for life!
