Very brief stay but it was pleasant. The host was very helpful and welcoming. Convenient location. My only concern is that it looks like a much bigger space in the photos than it is in reality. However, still great for an overnight stay!

The parking is in a perfect spot and safe. There is a security gate at the door, which is good. The rooms are a decent size and hanging space for clothing is sufficient for a weekend. The beds were very comfortable, such lovely soft blankets kept us warm. The bathroom is a nice size, the shower is big and I love the showerhead, quite enough hot water. Comfortable size kitchen with all necessary utensils needed. We enjoyed our stay, I was very pleased at how peaceful and quiet it was at night, I was happy with the location.
My mother's surgery was canceled at the last minute and although the owner does have the option to move the date forward and her husband agreed to it, she said they were not going to refund us or move the date forward. So we paid for 2 days that we didn't use and the way she treated us was uncalled for.
Absolute value for money, tranquility of a farm in the city, excellent location and recommend it to anyone.
The hostess was on site on arrival - very friendly and helpful and explained every detail nicely. The room was clean and equipped with the necessary appliances to make the stay comfortable such as a working microwave oven, fridge, fan and kettle. The bedding was good quality, clean and comfortable. There are burglar bars in front of the windows and even during load shedding I felt safe. Parking was large enough and under a canopy. I was very satisfied with the privacy and will definitely use the accommodation again.

Menlo View is conveniently close to the N1 and it's safe. No effort was spared to find parking for our trailer. The room is very tastefully decorated. We had a great time, and would stay here again.

The De Luxe unit is well equipped with everything you need, the kitchenette lacks nothing and the bathroom is nice and spacious. Marthie, our hostess, was very pleasant and made us feel very much at home. She also kept us informed all the time when it was loadshedding. It might be a plus to provide a small gas heater during June and July.
Would definitely recommend to anyone who attends a show at Sun Arena and doesn't want to drive back.

Received very kindly by the hostess and all inquiries were handled just as kindly. The room is big enough for two people and the bed sleeps very well and it was ensured that a lovely, warm night's rest could be enjoyed. Because my wife was in the hospital, I had to book day by day and the owner was willing to let me stay in the unit where I was placed on my arrival and guests whose stay conflicted with mine in another unit to accommodate. Unit is smaller than it looks in photos but still comfortable and value for money. Parking is safe and animal friends are just as nice as the owner. We were there on one of the hottest and most muggy days and because it has a flat roof, the unit was very hot inside, but after a nice thunderstorm much better.

Host was very friendly. Place was very clean and surroundings were peaceful and quiet.
We were received politely and our request to provide a fan was met to offer some resistance to the heat wave at the time of our visit. However, it would be much more effective if roof fans or stand-alone fans were made available in each room, as the door cannot be left open (no safety gate in front of the door). Secure covered parking is available right next to the unit, which is a big plus.

The rooms are well furnished and Yvonne really though of everything, like dish soap and shower gel in case you forgot to bring some with you. Also convenient that there was fresh milk in the fridge, not just those little sample milk sachets. There were also braai facilities and kitchenette with everything you could need. We'd definitely make use of Menlo View Guest Rooms again.

Location is in a peaceful Surburb. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and there's everything you might need. But the only thing that I could recommend os an ironing board and an iron. WiFi was available, and it is close to Menlyn shopping mall and other close by restaurants.
