We enjoyed the stay. The photo below does not look like the unit we stayed in, but we like the unit we stayed in.
We were kindly received, the unit was large and had everything we needed. Everything was clean and tidy. Area is quiet. We had a nice stay.

The WiFi is very weak and it is very expensive to do laundry.
It was just very noisy. A group of school children also slept over and were very noisy. Didn't sleep much through the night.
Room was super small. Looks like it was a big room previously that is now sub-divided into a lot of smaller "units". The room is connected to other "units" by doors on both sides which are blocked by cupboards. I could hear everything that the guests in the "units" next to mine were doing and saying. Guests parked in front of the sliding door and could see right into the room since curtains are see-through, especially with the car lights on. Not a good idea if you need a good night's rest. The room and shower were clean though.

Merwe's Inn met all my expectations. Definitely value for money. Neat and clean. Pleasant. The only negative was the noisy electric gate that sometimes woke me up early in the morning if there were other guests leaving early. This should only be a problem with the few rooms closest to the gate.
Slept very well with car right in front of the door. Also was able to come and go conveniently without any trouble with security.
I've already booked again for January 2019.
Clean and safe, would stay there again.
We were rushing back to SA and the accommodation was sufficient for our immediate needs.
