We were just on our way on a weeknight looking for a place to stay in Riversdal and booked with Meurant. Annette called us and just made sure she was there when we got there. She kindly met us and changed our room (I accidentally booked the single bed unit). Very tidy with everything needed. We just stayed overnight and drank nice coffee by the pool with a beautiful view.

We love to travel and often sleep over on the way to our final destination. Never have we come across a cleaner and neater place than Meurant. The linen is of the best, even the kitchen sponge is new, the equipment is all intact and working. The crockery is all suitably intact and sparkling clean. You can't get better. The reception is friendly without being intrusive. I would love to sleep here again.

She was helpful and provided me with information I asked for upon arrival. I stayed overnight in a beautiful unit. The tasteful unit is well equipped. There is also a swimming pool, as well as recreational facilities for people who want to hang out outside. Meurant is on the outskirts of Riversdal, but within easy walking distance of the town centre. I would love to stay there again.

Meurant is like a lafenis on a hot day. Peaceful farm atmosphere with all-necessary facilities. Nothing is spared here to make it convenient and comfortable for people.
It's a spacious, neat place to sleep, with a large dining-living room and kitchen. Everything is tasteful and very neat. Lighting is nice and bright which makes the unit look even better. There is a wall plug for a hairdryer within mirror distance ensuring convenience. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful, a very well-maintained farm effect with green lawns, a swimming pool and lovely resting spots under large shade trees. The place is fenced with a security gate, one never feels unsafe. I would definitely recommend and use again. Thank you very much, Annette.

The hostess warmly welcomed us via WhatsApp hours before our arrival and explained precisely the location of our destination. The facility is extremely easy to find. The entrance gate is neat from the outside, but if the gate closes behind you, the atmosphere inside is equally neat and very safe, with enough parking space for the car. The host and the hostess received and welcomed us with kindness and hospitality. The room with everything in it was very neat and welcoming, while the hostess was even concerned and helpful about the room's temperature. Thank you very much for the homely atmosphere. It was quite a shame that we could only spend one night there.

We felt free to move and to be able to spend time together as friends, and could shout as loud as possible when the rugby was on. Upon arrival, we were kindly received by owner and necessary information and rules were thoroughly explained. Very neat, clean stay with all the basic overnight amenities available for self catering. A basic microwave oven would have made everything perfect.

We enjoyed our stay at Meurant a lot. The tranquillity of the farm life takes you by surprise. We enjoyed the stay. The unit was very neat and the facilities are the best. The only thing that was difficult was the fact that there is just a shower in the bathroom and it made it difficult to wash my baby, but we quickly made a plan. WE will definitely visit Meurant again.
We were warmly welcomed at our arrival by Annette, the children and Rosie the dog. The lady pleasantly surprised us and spontaneously started chatting away instead of overwhelming us with a bunch of rules and regulations. Thereafter our privacy was respected. The cottage was neat and clean and the gardens well looked after. Security was good. I would recommend this to any family who would like to spend the night or want to stretch their legs on the way back to the Transvaal.

Everything you need is there. We arrived at the guest house at 18:00. After unpacking, we were welcomed with a delicious freshly baked olive sandwich which we devoured. (We have 3 teenagers!) We made a fire and friends came over to grill some meat. It was so nice to sleep over here. We will definitely visit here again next time. Hostess is very cute and hospitable! It is definitely a must for travelers, whether staying overnight or just for a great visit.
