Friendly hosts and a peaceful, pleasant and homely stay. Very neat room and an all-you-need general kitchen and dining area. Location and general safety is good. Optional dinners delicious and lip-smacking homemade. Highly recommended!

Basic amenities. There are a few problems which didn't bother us too much. The TV didn't work. Nor did the heater. A light on each side of the bed would really help. The unit is centrally located if you'd like to do the rounds. The owners were very helpful and friendly. We will stay here again if the issues raised above are addressed.
We were received very kindly and even with the water problem in the Cape, they went out of their way to make it comfortable for us. Was even willing for us to check in late. Room is basic but good value for money. If you don't have a problem sharing a bathroom it's perfect for an overnight stay.
It's a home away from home.
The house was big enough to accommodate many people. The family was very nice and everything we needed was there. This house is very clean and tidy. It was a pleasure to stay there, because we felt at home. Thank you very much for the hospitality.

It is close to the R44 and the N2, easy to find. People are very friendly. It's convenient with the remote for the gate to be able to go in and out.

Meyer's Den is good value for money in a good location. My hosts, Eslin and Jane Meyer are friendly and helpful. I was there for a one night stop at the end of a 2 week holiday before driving home to PE.
I chose this accommodation for two of our workers. Because they are away from home I wanted them to still feel like they were at home. They are happy and safe and it is close to work and also all the shops. Very comfortable for them.
The TV channels are limited to SABC channels only.

They need to arrange their parking. Visitors park in front of their garage and then the house owners wants to in/out of the garage, requiring guests to move their cars. This is irritating. The house is unmarked and the pictures do not match, making it difficult to find. Please update the website to use a recent picture, and perhaps put up a sign on the house.
