34 guests' feedbackEverything you could ask for, with wonderful hosts who go out of their way to make you comfortable - from an electric blanket, sherry in the room, help storing food, etc. We had a very nice stay.
Very nice stay. We were informed from the start, received warmly and checked in professionally. The place is very nicely decorated, and creates a luxurious but homely atmosphere. The rooms are very comfortable, and the breakfast was very tasty.
We really enjoyed our stay. Absolutely no complaints.
Willem and Pieter are excellent "hosts", breakfast is top notch, they make you feel at home, we had a great chat.

The venue is run by the most amazing couple. They are the warmest, most hospitable people we have ever met. Their bed and breakfast, Michael-Angelo Guest House, is simply out of this world. The venue itself is so amazing. Nestled in a quiet, leafy suburb in Potchefstroom, it is the most beautiful place we have ever seen. The antiques are simply to die for. Having the host take you for a tour around the beautiful home is like travelling back in time to an era where style and grace were an everyday occurrence. The rooms are so cosy and well decorated. It felt like we were sleeping in our own little piece of paradise. The Michael-Angelo is full of character. Each corner speaks to your soul. The breakfast, now that is something I can write sonnets about. The basic bacon and eggs was transformed into a whirlwind of emotions. While you are eating it, you feel all the emotions at once: happiness, joy, elation, and pure bliss. Yes, and even sadness that it had to end. The hosts became like family to my wife and me. Yes, after just one night. I proudly call them my two cousins. My wife and I are already thinking of excuses to go and stay at the Michael-Angelo Guest House again. But one word of warning, if you decide to take our advice and book a stay there, you might never ever want to leave.

Lovely reception. The rooms are beautiful, clean, tidy and you have everything you sometimes need. Safe with the most beautiful outdoor area to rest in the garden. Accessible rooms to come and go as you please. The owners are very friendly and make sure your stay is great. Breakfast is the best part of your time there. The owners are rich in knowledge, energy and make you feel at home. Of all the places in the area, this was by far the best experience we had. Will never stay anywhere else again.
Very neat, friendly and very hospitable service. The owners went out of their way to get us our delicious and interesting breakfast packs for the next morning because we had to hit the road early.

The hosts Pieter and Willem go to great lengths to warmly welcome guests. They take a genuine interest in guests' doings and go out of their way to accommodate everyone. The garden area with a swimming pool and several fountains is a treat for the soul to just sit and relax after the day's hustle and bustle. The breakfast was well prepared and tasty. Although the bathroom area of our sleeping unit could have been more private, we would happily recommend it to other people.

The hospitality we received from Pieter and Willem was outstanding. Breakfast and conversation madde the trip worth it. Bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful, clean, and neat. Some of the couches in the TV lounge needs a good "spring clean" but that is our only complaint. Thanks.
I was really grateful for Willem and Pieter to accommodate us in a room outside, as we needed another room. And the fact that we only booked for one nigh wasn't a problem, where as some of the other guest houses weren't willing to help us. Willem and Pieter makes you feel very comfortable, and we enjoyed the breakfast. Will definitely go there again.

Warm, friendly reception. Room was clean and neat. Bed was very comfortble! We were cold during the night and the pillows aren't very comfy. Room/unit is part of the house, kitchen noises start at about 05:00, right above our room, it was bothersome. Decent breakfast. Destination easy to find and fenced, safe.

As mentioned before, Willem & Pieter are very professional, engaging hosts. We felt like royalty in the manner in which they dealt with us. Their establishment is top class with excellent & professional service delivery, which is hard to find in this country these days... We will definitely recommend them to any of our friends or family that might need a place to stay over in Potch when we come to visit our son who is 1st year now at Potch university!
