Safe and quiet environment. With load shedding, all the rooms did not have power, there were emergency lights.

We arrived a little earlier than expected, but nevertheless we received very friendly service on December 24th. The lady received us kindly, had a nice chat and then showed us around and made recommendations for places to eat. Very nice setup, especially for small children who want to get rid of all the energy after a long drive!

What a great experience. For years we have been staying in guesthouses on our way to our annual December Mossel Bay holiday, this year I booked at Middle Street Manor in Graaff Reinet, and I was totally blown away. Easily competes with some of the best guesthouses I've stayed at in the country, and that in a town like the one mentioned above. Thank you very much for a lovely overnight stay, would do it again any day.
Great stay, easy to find, spacious room and bathroom. Quaint garden and marvelous pool after a long drive. Clean linen and coffee/tea station provided. Pool was a life saver in the heat from our drive from JHB.

Middle Street Manor is a beautiful luxury guest house, the rooms are very clean, and everything worked perfectly. Thank you very much for a good night's rest.
They use a water pressure pump that switches on and off throughout the night which can be quite disturbing.

This was a lovely stay with well planned rooms and a space for our 4 legged children to stretch their legs. Lovely calm neighborhood with divine rooms. A must for any one going though or needing a sleep over place.
We had a very nice stay at Middle Street Manor. The room and facilities were top notch. The breakfast was good, but not five star. The administration and management were good and we were always received kindly and made to feel at ease. I can recommend Middle Street Manor.
