The place is so quiet, especially to connect with. If you love farm life like me, then I recommend you to book at the place. It's a place where you hear melodies of birds, especially in the morning. With my prayer girls, we loved it.

Annietjie and her family welcomed us very politely and warmly. We didn't get any of the units in the photo and were very worried at first because they didn't show nearly as good of loot. The unit is still beautiful and very spacious. We had a wonderful stay there for our 2 night visit and will definitely be back at Midvaal Guest House again. Thank you Annie, you are great!

Stayed OK. Very hot place. Aircon needed. No privacy. Open plan room.
Room was clean, but unfortunately have to mention the following. No microwave although there is a microwave cover with the cutlery. No WiFi and DSTV combo is entry level. Frisco coffee in Nescafe Classic container. Thanks for extra blanket but would have expected a heater in room seeing as everyone knows Meyerton is freezing cold this time of year. And finally, no mirror in room area to blow dry hair and do makeup.
The farm atmosphere is nice.
Lady was very unfit, the room we were given was not available and we were pushed into a room, which was not furnished accordingly. There was 1 blanket and no hot water.
The shower is a bit slippery, but otherwise everything was fine.
From meeting to the end of your departure, you don't feel like a guest, but like family.

Would definitely recommend Midvaal Guest House. Annetjie was very friendly and the rooms are exceptional, very neat and comfortable.
We had a good night's rest there, and felt very safe.
The host is very friendly and helpful, they are very quick to assist in any way to make your stay comfortable. The food is also really good, it offers a real home feel to it.
The accommodation (lapa) was very spacious and tidy, good value for money, well furnished, kitchen, bathroom and 1 bedroom, with a large braai and sitting and dining room, and DStv.
The room I booked was not available. The lady said they sent an email to send me. Then we got the 2 single beds. They gave me a refund, but in general it had been a lot of leaks. Very quiet and peaceful.
