Perfect getaway. The cottage is nicely furnished, the pond is beautiful with lots of fish. The nature is particularly beautiful, the service is good and the value for money is excellent.
Comfortable and really clean and neat. Hosts went out of their way.

We arrived very late, partly because of roadworks that we were not aware of. The owner didn't communicate at all. It seemed that she was under the impression that I should have contacted her before the time. I was under the impression that the owner should let me know where to find the keys etc. The place is smaller than an envelope, which is fine if that was what we expected. The pictures do not show how small it really is. The size would not have been a problem at all, if only it was clean. The table and chairs on the stoep were gross. Spider webs, bird poo, and old dust. There were spider webs that had been in the same family for generations. The crockery was not clean - we used the plates from our picnic basket. There was a hairbrush in the cutlery drawer! The salt and pepper shakers had been rusting. The salt was actually green. There was sour milk in the fridge - two open containers that should have been thrown out after the previous guests left. The linen was clean. When we left the electrical gate couldn't open.
Perfect for those who want to get away from the city and enjoy the quiet nature! Very friendly service and very tidy. Will definitely come back again!
