Our stay at Mika's Tree was everything we were hoping for. The place came with everything you'd need on a daily basis. Safety was a big concern, but when we got there, Mika's Tree was surrounded by high walls and electric fencing, which made the stay ten times better. Lastly, 10/10 for communication. It was quick and effective. I highly recommend.

In my experience the tree house was such a lovely house it is a home away from home. It warm and comfortable.
Mika's Tree is well equipped, clean, a nice braai place which all contributed to a pleasant stay. However, the cottage's greatest asset is the particularly friendly and helpful hostess and host.
The stay was pleasant and clean. Although I expected more communication from the hosts in terms of letting me know when and where key collection would be, as well as all other necessary details pertaining to our stay, well in advance. I had to ask on the day of check-in, just a few hours before, where to collect the keys and get all the other details of our stay. This is not something I normally experience with any other host. Usually, all the details are sent well in advance, leaving me without any stress and ensuring a smooth check-in. Here, I didn't have that experience and it made me quite stressed. I always appreciate good communication, especially since I am paying for my stay. I tend to be quite particular about the small things because it's the small things that people appreciate and what makes them come back. It was a lovely stay, but I do not see myself re-booking.
I would come back for longer and book it again. It is near the shopping centre and the area is safe.

I traveled with my husband, mother, daughter and sister and Mika's Tree was perfect for 5 people. It really gives the cottage feel. We had a wonderful time relaxing and yet being close enough to places for entertainment without feeling like we were in the city.

We had a very nice stay. The stairs up to the double bed are not very easy to use and my wife and I had to sleep downstairs on the two single beds. Would suggest that the owner perhaps provide a broom and a mop in the unit. Wooden bench outside can be cleaner and refurbished.
A nice, clean and safe place with friendly owners. Spent there one night with a 7-year old child and liked it very much. Will definitely consider staying there again while back in PE. Recommend to anyone.

Everything was nice, the bedding, bathroom, and the house itself was very neat and clean. Also delicious coffee, sugar and rusks and a small milk. I would say, however, that for someone with a fear of heights, or injured legs or back, getting to the bedroom upstairs would be inconvenient. I personally found it adventurous to almost glide up and down, but I don't have any disabilities and am fit. My wife was somewhat scared, but well, she managed at the end. If I have to say something it would be this. All the other things were great and it was a pleasure staying there.
