The cleanliness of the accommodation gets a 5/5. Very neat and beautiful. A nice bed is a necessity when you rent a place and we slept wonderfully. The water was just not that nice and warm. This is the only negative point I can highlight.

Colin and his wife are wonderful people, they really made us feel at home. The "loft" has everything you need for your stay there, not to mention the delicious outdoor barbecue. In the evening we went for a lovely walk along the sea and enjoyed the outdoors.

The modern, cozy unit is in a quiet area with little street traffic. One can easily walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Being a penthouse, it was wonderfully private and I never felt unsafe. The stairs to the unit also have a locking gate at the bottom. I could sleep at night with the venters wide open and could smell and hear the sea. Milk Thistle is decently equipped and the owners have made an effort with little extras. This is certainly the cleanest, neatest unit I have ever stayed in in Paternoster. Well done to the owners!
Hosts were very welcoming. Place was tidy, well located and had all the necessary appliances & amenities for a short stay.
Milk Thistle exceeded all our expectations. The kitchen is excellently equipped with the necessary, the place is neat and clean and even the braai area is provided with a grill. The decor is perfect and beautifully done for the seaside cottage. We couldn't see the sea, but it is within walking distance of the beach and the village's main street with sweet shops and eateries. We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend it to future travelers.
