The cottage has 2 bedrooms with a double bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the second bedroom. Guests must bring their own bath/swimming towels.
There is an open-plan lounge and kitchen. The cottage is fully equipped and the kitchen has a microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and gas stove. There is air conditioning in the lounge, ceiling fans in the bedrooms and lounge and a wall heater is available. The cottage caters ideally for a small family of 4 people. There is a TV with selected DStv channels, a DVD player, and free uncapped Wi-FI.
The bathroom has a washing machine, and a shower/bath and there is also an outside shower to wash off all the beach sand.
Guests can enjoy an outside evening around the built-in braai with garden furniture and enjoy the magnificent sea view. An outside wall fixed clothesline is also offered. Please bring your own bath and swimming towels, as well as beach chairs and an umbrella if you can.
The nature conservation estate has a swimming pool for all to enjoy.
Enjoy excellent fishing, or walk along the pristine beach to blue flag beaches which is within walking distance.

7 guests' feedbackBeautiful beach and complex and the accommodation is located wonderfully close to the beach.
The location is fantastic. 70 meters from a beautiful, pristine beach. For a peaceful break from the daily hustle and bustle, Milkwood Glen is just the place. Within 10 km from Plettenberg Bay if more activities and shops are desired. It was a lovely break for our young family and would love to return.
Even if one cannot see the sea, it is wonderful to walk and drink a cup of coffee at the very private beach. I can imagine that many wonderful holidays have been held here.
The directions in the resort are very poor, there are no signs in the resort that show where the cottages are, only at the gate and there are many misleading roads. We only saw the specific house's number at the end of our stay, it melts in with the bricks and is very small. The braai spot is very impractical for the weather, would recommend sheltered braai areas like most of the other cottages. Apart from what I mentioned above we had a lovely stay and it is a very comfortable cottage.
Milkwood is very neat, clean and has everything one would need for a short break. Located in the most beautiful place with lovely dead silence and the wooden deck a few meters walk away is ideal for sitting and watching the sunset or even spotting whales/dolphins in passing. As already mentioned by a previous visitor, a canopy would certainly be useful to be able to barbecue when the weather doesn't cooperate so well. We will definitely stay there again if we find ourselves in the area.
It was relaxing and quiet. Pretty view on beach from deck.
Really enjoyed it. Very clean with nice beach almost on your porch. The house might need a covered part to spend time outside, but it was nice.

House rules
Unfortunately no students or matriculants allowed.Smoking is strictly prohibited in our holiday home cottage.
Strictly no pets allowed.
Please note that if there are more than 4 people found occupying our cottage you will be asked to leave immediately.
Subletting is not allowed. Our cottage will be booked by and only the guest who will be occupying our cottage.
Late exit fee will result in the forfeit of the refundable breakage fee.
If cleaning is needed, only our agent's cleaning staff are allowed in our cottage and no other cleaners are allowed.
Last-minute bookings, The total amount is to be paid 2 full days before arrival with the refundable key and breakage deposit, for public holidays, weekends, long weekends and longer stays.
Key break/damage/contravention of complex and house rules - is paid with the outstanding balance of a confirmed booking directly to the owners. The refundable breakage deposit will be refunded within 30 days of exiting our cottage. 2% handling fee on the total rental amount on cancellations.
High season key and breakage refundable fee will differ from the mid and low season key and breakage refundable deposit.
Please park in the specific parking bay assigned to the cottage.
No tents or fireworks are allowed on the property or on the beach.
Only day visitors will be allowed.
Refuse to be placed in black or green dust bags.
For all booked and confirmed guests please note additional charges will be deducted if more guests than booked are found utilising the premises. A cleaning fee could also be deducted if the cottage is left with excessive dirty dishes, linen or any other, in an unsatisfactory state.
Unruly behaviour or noise from people, vehicles, radios, TV and musical instruments will not be tolerated. There are relative fines for the above from the Home Owners association which will be charged for your account.
Please do not move the furniture at all, and please do not take anything from the property.
Swimming in the pool or in the ocean is at your own risk.
