4 guests' feedbackVery pleasant. The staff are wonderful. The views from the verandah table are the best thing. There is some work to do with upgrading the plumbing in one area, but they are attending to it. If it is advertised as 'self catering', one assumes the rooms would have facilities for this beyond a tea tray and a fridge. The staff always make the difference, and I was made to feel welcome. Leslie is a good reason to stay there.
Hostess was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and tidy. Beautiful old house with balconies overlooking the lake.
Poor: Blinds broken and insufficient to ensure privacy, especially in the shower. Faucets and toilet holder are loose. Room freezing cold, no heating available. Good: Friendly reception. Nice gowns.
We only spent the night. The lady there was very helpful and friendly, but the man who checked us in was under the influence. There are also no fans in the rooms. It was very distressing. I also suggest that they put in lights that can help with the loadshedding. They did help us a lot with our kitten who was with us and looked after him for us for a few hours. Other than that there were no problems. It is clean and tidy.
