Great place. My kids loved it. Clean and neat. Everyone had their own room. I would definitely go back again. Pity there was only 1 bathroom downstairs and the 2 other rooms were upstairs. So we had to go downstairs every time we needed to use the bathroom. The shower is very small, and the shower head could only move left or right, so I could not shower without getting my hair wet. So most of the time we had to take a bath, which took a lot of time as there was only 1 bathroom. Otherwise, it's really a lovely place.

I enjoyed my stay at this guest house. I have never seen a friendly and welcoming host like Oom Johan from the first day until we left. The food was excellent and the place very clean too! Perfect holiday destination and it's near the beach and shops.

Nice neat and spacious rooms with everything you need for a short stay. Beautiful garden. The breakfast was also delicious and very neatly presented. The ladies in the kitchen were very friendly and respectful. Had no problem with any noise, was wonderfully peaceful and also had a lot of peace of mind with vehicles safely behind gates. Many thanks also for the help with the one vehicle we had trouble getting started. The price is also very affordable and we will definitely stay there again if we go to Port Elizabeth again.

Our overall experience was not the greatest. I wanted to go home on day 1 due to the noise of certain guests. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and the owner just forgot to tell us certain things which we only found out after day 3. One being that our dishes will get washed for us. I was washing my own dishes until that point. I was only told we can use the microwave, and he will loan us the Weber braai, and again we had to go and ask him for it after day 2. I'm was not impressed with the lack of info from the beginning and will certainly not stay at this Guest House again should we visit Summerstrand again in the future.

We were a group of seven and occupied four rooms. The rooms are spacious, fresh and clean. Every day the biscuits, coffee, tea and milk were replenished. The cleaners were lovely. My elderly parents really enjoyed their comfortable room and even my grown children. We even had a living room for our group. The owners are very warm and friendly, but still allow you privacy. There is secure parking and the B&B is very close to the Boardwalk as well as all the main routes. Thank you to LekkeSlaap for your good service. It is so reassuring to work through you. We travelled with our infant and the room was lovely and big and had all the amenities we needed (fridge and microwave and kettle). I think it was excellent value for money! Millard Crescent was a blessing. They thought of everything! There is nothing missing in the unit, it is very comfortable and everything is very tastefully furnished. Everything was offered at a reasonable price. The owners' hospitality can be noted: Johan went to light candles in our unit that evening during the power cut, as my daughter and I were out and would come home late at night in the dark. I will definitely use their services again.

Stayed for the weekend. Well appointed, clean room, with a comfortable bed & nice bathroom.
The unit was very neat and effort was made with the decor. On arrival we were informed that we had not booked for breakfast and it would be too late anyway - while we were under the impression that the B&B booking included breakfast. There is also an acoustic problem with the adjoining unit - and we could clearly hear the conversations and other sounds of the adjoining unit in our unit.

Very pleasant experience. Clean, comfortable; the owner is very friendly and discreet at the same time. We only spent one night and would definitely recommend Millard Crescent to other people. It is close to the airport, easy to find, and close to the Strand. One must have a car to stay there. We did not have the continental breakfast as we had other plans, but there is a basic "kitchenette" in the room with microwave, fridge and toaster as well as the usual kettle. A little carafe of port and 2 glasses added a nice touch as it was particularly cold that day.

We chose to do self-catering, the kitchenette was very well equipped with good quality crockery and cutlery. The unit was spotlessly clean and that was maintained during my stay. Off street parking was a per-requisite and I felt secure parking and the out side of the house is well lit up. My experience of Millard Crescent was good and I would certainly return.
