It was great. Loved the room and everything associated.
I enjoyed the view over the water. The room is spacious and well equipped.
We had a great stay and the unit had everything we needed.
Like always, very best overnight stay on our way to the Kruger National Park. Especially when you leave Pretoria late. We also enjoy the food in the restaurant, and the staff is friendly and always accommodating. Very clean and neat accommodation.

The units are very clean and tidy, with everything needed for a restful night after a long journey. Convenient with a restaurant in the front seat.

We had chalet No. 1, which is close to the restaurant, but far enough that it didn't interfere with the tranquil setting. Our balcony jutted out into the dam and we watched a beautiful sunset across the dam.
We have - the sofa needs to be replaced because it is completely stretched out. More needs to be done to ensure the safety of cars. Once upon a time there was a tree, but no longer in operation. It makes you uneasy with trucks that spend the night barely 50 m away.
We liked our accommodation. We were less impressed with the restaurant. Several menu items were unavailable, the food was overcooked, and there were cockroaches running around at approximately 6:45 pm.
The place is very neat and tidy.
Rooms need attention. The door had a big gap and cold wind came in. Shower pressure is very weak. Think the price is too high for the room.
Millys or Machado deserves every award displayed on the restaurant's walls. Nothing was missing at all - a special location on the dam, and even the finest detail was taken care of. I didn't receive the WiFi password, but didn't even bother to ask because it was blissful to sit and watch the sunset, and later the nightly thunderstorm, over the water so undisturbed. Thank you very much for spotless, tidy, well-maintained sleeping accommodation and a lodge-quality bathroom. Idyllic.

Only recommendation is that the WiFi password should be more readily available. It's not in the room and the security guard doesn't have the details either.
The sliding door to the veranda of my room could not close. It was a security risk. The dinner in the restaurant was really way overpriced and a waste of money for the little bit of food I received. Furthermore, my room and bathroom were a wonderful experience. I will visit there again, but avoid the restaurant because the little value for money.
Manager of restaurant and chalets is helpful, friendly, and has passion for her work. Imagine waiters not standing and talking loudly to each other in dining areas where people eat and hang out.
The reception staff are amazing and organized an early check-in for us.

Modern, clean and quiet.
Millys has a winning recipe. The staff is friendly. From the lady at reception, the waiter and staff at the restaurant to the lady who comes to clean the next morning and the security guards, all very friendly and helpful. The unit lives up to the photos, is very clean and especially the bathroom is a welcome surprise. The small details like the two packets of delicious Millys biscuits and just enough "plunger" coffee for two people with a small container of milk, make guests feel that they are getting value for money and that Millys makes an effort to understand their customers. We will definitely stay there again.

Covid meant we couldn't eat at the restaurant but the large comfortable room with chairs on the balcony overlooking the pond made the takeaway taste different! The electric blanket was a definite bonus for the winter cold.
The room is spacious and very tidy. The bathroom is exceptionally large and everything needed is there. The pond extends below the balcony and contributes to a peaceful atmosphere. The restaurant is just around the corner although there is also a Steers and Mug 'n Bean take away on site. We will definitely stay there again.

Stayed here twice on our trip to Kruger from Cape Town, once on our way up and once on our return. Convenient location. Clean, quiet and secure. No WiFi reception in our room was a disappointment. Consider putting a microwave in the unit.
Restaurant closes 18h00, had to take dinner at 17h00. Order Rack of Lamb for R200.00, get one lamb chop, breakfast was very tasty.

Lovely peaceful atmosphere next to the dam, the room is hands down the best we have stayed in in a long time. From the delicious biscuit to the spacious bathroom with top quality finishes and crisp linen. And the busy road doesn't bother at all at night. We are definitely sleeping over from now on - it gives one an extra full day in the game park.
Very nice location. Very nice rooms. Very neat. When we got there, the restaurant had only been open for 5 minutes. We were not aware of the hours that had changed due to Covid. Still, they helped us and made food for us and left it at the tables outside, so that we could eat there.

Beautifully clean with a lovely bathroom and very beautiful view of dam. It was cold, but the warm blanket was a wonderful surprise and the bathroom was heated. I haven't had a bath like that in a while! Would recommend it with confidence. We have rested wonderfully!

There is very little to do at Milly's other than relax, but that was exactly our goal and therefore the perfect venue. Opportunity to catch fish was also a treat, black bass on a fly rod remains tasty.
Plug closer to mirror for women would be nice. Otherwise, 100% nice stay and nice aircon. Too bad there is no view, but if we stayed on the bottom floor we would have gotten it.

Staying at Millys means that we can break our trip to Kruger and head there straight after work. Lovely, clean and tidy accommodation. With the restaurant, fuel station and Seattle coffee next door, what more could you want. Just inform them if you will arrive after 9 as they will have to provide your key to security.
It is such a beautiful place, the prettiest rooms with the nicest view over the dam and it is so affordable! It is perfectly located and everything is close, a petrol station, restaurant, shop etc. Definitely recommended.

Staying over at Milly's for one or two nights to break a long journey is well worth it.
When we checked in, the member of staff immediately got our details into their register, confirming that we had paid in full. Our room number was 2B. Then she disappeared and after a while came back with someone else. They check the register again and talk to each other, without telling us what the problem is. We ask what is wrong, but get no explanation. After waiting for a while and when we asked again for an explanation, we were told that our room had been given to someone else. After that we were given room 4B.
The accommodation is really very modern and has everything you need. The staff is very friendly and everything went very well. The restaurant is great and serves the most delicious food.
Rooms overlooking the dam are beautiful. Would not recommend second floor rooms, no view. Food at restaurant fair and delicious. Good value for money.

The rooms are spacious and modern. It was very nice to have a warm blanket in the bed in the cold. The staff is also very friendly. The only negative is that there was no fire in the restaurant during the afternoon and evening, probably because there were not many customers. It was unpleasantly cold in the restaurant.
Was very impressed with the hospitality of the staff. Rooms are very modern and equipped with only the best! Would only recommend that access to the premises be controlled a little better. Had a lovely stay. Millys see us again for sure!
