Upon arrival, friendly Maria received us. Our room was ready and beautiful, just like in the photos. We had a great time relaxing under the lapa in the leafy green garden. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the linen was pure white and of good quality cotton.
Rose is an excellent hostess. Although I slept in the accommodation without breakfast, she had no problem providing breakfast at a very reasonable price. The guest house's location is very central and the guest house is clean and tidy with all facilities to make it very comfortable. Thank you very much for your hospitality, Rose. I appreciate it a lot.
Room is private and well laid out and equipped. Very peaceful surroundings with the soft murmur of the Vaal River. Wonderful restaurant within walking distance.

Very cosy, warm and clean, we happily recommend this spot. We had a little miscommunication around check-in, of which the process could be improved, otherwise was exactly what we paid for and more than we expected with surprising decoration elements that made the stay very comfortable and welcoming.

The place is situated next to a great restaurant. The roads are a bit hectic (potholes). Overall a nice stay for a quick getaway.
Bathroom needs maintenance and work, roof leaks, cement shell badly off, mold on the ceiling. Room was very nice, but the door that goes outside (not the door to the inside of the house) cannot be unlocked. It would have been more convenient to be able to get in and out like that. The aircon, which is not an aircon then, which can only be used as a fan/heater is quite important to me, especially in summer when it is hot where an aircon would be more convenient. It's not worth R1100 per night in my opinion, rather R800 or so especially with the bathroom and room needing renovations.
Lovely rooms, soft beds. One house away from an amazing restaurant on the river. The only issues are that there is no water when it is loadshedding. And that I was messaged an hour or two before checking in to say that of the two outside rooms I had booked, only one was available. And the other room was inside the house. I was not informed that we could use the two inside rooms. So we just shared a room. Did not see the owner and the lady that was there, had no clue what was happening. However, the accommodation is lovely and clean and comfortable. So I'm going to put it down to one of the through-the-cracks moments.

Room 1 has very nice decor, as does the rest. If you like "rustic" this is the place for you.
Walking distance to the best places to eat and unique shops. Mirabel's cleanliness is top notch with crisp, white, luxurious linen and room is uniquely decorated. We didn't want to go home.

Close to restaurants and all the shops one wants to visit. The room is well furnished with a view of a beautiful garden.
Just a few recommendations: There is not enough light in the room, especially not to put on make-up; had to use phones flash. Toilet did not flush properly. The soap bottle in the shower didn't work and you couldn't use the soap.
Very nice and comfortable room. Reception and service from Maria was very good and the breakfast was delicious! A fridge in the room would be convenient and a door to the shower/bathroom as well. Extremely loud, weak music from the area bothered us on Sunday evening, but I realize that it is nothing that Mirabel Gastehuis has control over. We had a wonderful stay there!
Room 1 should only be looked at the ceiling. Furthermore, we had a very nice stay. The ceiling on one side of the room just has a lot of water damage. The accommodation is very nice and the bed was lovely.
Spicy, too cute. Nostalgic and beautiful. Had a good reception from the owner. Clean and spacious. Everything that is needed. Would just put a light above the sink.
For the price, they can at least include breakfast. Maintenance can be stepped up. Despite that, it was clean and the bed comfortable. It felt like we were going back in time.

Fantastic, this is truly one of the better guesthouses I've stayed in, I just have one problem. I returned from an appointment at about 10:30 that night, and the gate didn't have a car on it. Street is pitch dark, now to get out, open the gate, move in and get out again to close the gate is unacceptable for me, understand me, only inside the premises felt 100% safe, but the gate is a "deal breaker" for me
Apart from making the beds the next morning, the room in the main house was not serviced again. The coffee cups had not been washed and put back in their places and the water carafe had not been filled either. Had to search for clean cups in the kitchen to make coffee.
Food for a creative soul. The guest house offers not only peace and quiet but also quirky bits and bobs around every corner. Our room was The Chicken Coop and the theme was carried out tastefully. We were able to cool off in the small farm pond and enjoy the silence.

Firstly, the decor will not be everyone's cup of tea. It feels like you are walking into your grandmother's house. Room 1 especially. But it's in a quiet part of town and right next to one of Paris's most famous restaurants - O's. Good beds. Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. Note that the gate is never locked. It is just pushed.

Our expectations were exceeded with a special guest house. Every aspect was put there in fine detail and with a fine hand so that we could only look at everything with admiration every time. Our reception was great and Rose went out of her way to have everything ready for us. The whole place creates a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was exceptional. We would definitely like to stay here again.

Mirabel Guest House is lovely. We stayed in room 1 and loved the lovely big and romantic room. The bathroom was a big treat. Everything was neat and clean and beautiful. The breakfast was also heavenly, especially the spinach pancakes. It's also right next to O's which is a delicious restaurant.
Special effort was made to store our trailer safely for the night. Extra effort was also made for us with breakfast. Excellent service!

Customer service could improve. On arrival the owner/manager was not available and the front door/reception was closed. Otherwise, the guest house is very neat and the rooms are modern and stylish. Breakfast was very nice, but I would have liked a better coffee.
