My husband and I spent the first few days of our honeymoon at the accommodation and the accommodation exceeded all our expectations. Not only is the location and view breathtaking, but we could enjoy our stay there with peace of mind because of the safety and comfort it offers. The kitchen and bathrooms are equipped with everything one would need and more, and the fireplace was perfect for a fire and a visit on a cold Dullstroom evening. The check-in and check-out process was easy and was always available to help with anything we might need. We will definitely be back and bring the whole family!

This is a lovely spacious house with the most beautiful view of the mountain! I can recommend the place to stay anytime. All it needs is an aircon, but other than that it's a lovely place!

Was a lovely break from Johannesburg. The place is stunning and very well equipped. There are three large bedrooms so 6 people will be able to stay comfortably. Lovely outdoor barbecue area, gas grill on the top floor and fireplace in the living room. In a secure complex in town, but it doesn't feel like you're in town. The houses are quite close to each other but still private. Will definitely recommend and use again in Dullstroom.
Miramichi is very clean and tidy and our stay was very comfortable and convenient. The house offers more than one can use over a weekend, such as e.g. the bar and outside patio. The house is ideal for a few days' getaway.

We found the house very comfortable and private, and it was nice to be in a secure complex with a guard at the entrance. Lovely mountain view from the top bedroom and upstairs entertainment area. It was so quiet and peaceful; you didn't even know you had houses around you. Lovely to walk down to the pond which is accessible from a gate at the bottom of the estate. Our only improvement ideas are a more comfortable seating option outside by the braai area, as those cement benches get very uncomfortable after a while (we used the braai every day). An outdoor umbrella or some kind of covering for protection against the sun and rain while braaiing would also be nice. An ashtray would also be helpful for outside. There were no cloths to wash the dishes with, but we just went and bought one. The locks in the house need some attention as the keys are difficult to open and lock the doors with. Take note that there is no Wifi and the unit is not serviced/cleaned during your stay. These are minor things though as in general everything was really nice and we will highly recommend this house for a group of people.
The first night we didn't sleep at all, big steel hood noise from wind all night. Then the next morning my husband saw that the blinds were not fixed on the balcony barbecue area above. He then tied all the sails down and the second night we slept better.
Was great! Very well located, spacious with enough space, well equipped, neat and clean. The unit was found exactly as the photos on the page show! Only criticism is that ladies who stay on the ground floor rooms have nowhere in the room near a mirror to do makeup or to plug in a hair dryer to blow and do hair. Provision was even made for load shedding with portable emergency lights and gas stove for a cup of tea during load shedding. Will definitely book again at Miramichi!
We had a great time with our dogs. Mind you, the yard is not fenced, but luckily there were no other dogs. The lighting for loadshedding was a bonus. The house was tidy and it is in a very quiet area which was good for us who wanted to rest. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you very much!

The place is very very neat. All the facilities were there even with load shedding there was sufficient light. We could have a nice walk around. Safe environment and the 2 puppies naturally enjoyed nature as well.
Miramichi Guest House has everything you need when away from home and is very comfortable. The environment is quiet, the house is well equipped, tidy and there were no shortcomings. Lamps were also available for load shedding and we were provided with a schedule of when load shedding would take place. A definite go back spot for a next break.
If we can get Wi-fi it would be bliss.
We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful, comfortable house. Everything you need is there. Fireplace an extra bonus on cold days. Close to shops but still in a quiet environment. And the welcome sherry and chocolate surprised us extra.

We knew from the previous feedbacks that we would not get any unpleasant surprises. Nevertheless, we were pleasantly surprised with the spacious layout and special furniture and decorations. At first we expected the normal noise of a residential complex, but it was like we were staying alone in the complex. The DSTV did not work fully but before the rugby started everything was restored and we could watch rugby in peace. It is clear that the owner is proud of what he offers and good service is important. We had visitors from Hoedspruit, they confirmed that Miramichi will be their next place to stay in Dullstroom.

There is so much to do in Dullstroom. 709 is for sure a place where I will want to come and stay again. The pictures on the internet are exactly what you get.
