28 guests' feedbackWe had an amazing stay at Miss Lucy. The location is ideal. Well-equipped home, with everything we needed. Thank you so much to the hosts.
The accommodation was perfect and everything that goes with it. We are just deeply unhappy in the fact that we received messages that our music was a disturbance to the other residents when it was still so early and it was not even time for the music to soften. We had a quiet barbecue outside with music and there were people who didn't like it. There are times when the music should be softer and we were nowhere near the times indicated. It was extremely bad of the owners to let us know about this. It would also be better if it could be indicated in the result that you must bring your own toilet paper. The rolls that were available were half rolls and we had to go and buy our own which was actually extra costs, because apparently it is self catering and we were supposed to bring our own, but nowhere was this indicated. The WiFi is very good downstairs in the house, but once you move to the rooms it doesn't pick up, which was also very bad.
We had a marvelous time there. Everything was neat, clean and in working order. We were also very well received. You will definitely see us again!
It was a great place to stay.
Everyone who tagged along could not stop boasting about "Miss Lucy". The accommodation was so clean, and relaxing and the pool water was to die for. Will definitely need to make a plan to go again. The owners and Annetjie were so helpful and super friendly.
No toilet paper, geyser not on, so cold water when we got there in the evening. Little things that cost really little to do right, that leave a bitter taste in your mouth. Bedding's beauty is also suspect. Other than that, lovely place.
First time visiting Struisbaai - enjoyed it so much. We will happily choose Miss Lucy in future as our home base. Note about accommodation: suits 2 couples and 4 kids under 16 (due to 3rd bedroom with 2 double bunks). Annetjie was very responsive to our needs and made sure our every comfort was catered to.

Really nice holiday accommodation. We stayed here as a family of 5 with an additional 2 grandparents. The unit is spacious and clean. Nice location close to the beach.
It is a very safe area where Miss Lucy is, people and owner were friendly, no problems, will definitely go again.
The unit is well equipped with everything you need but the unit needs some attention. The sheets were thinly washed, the bedding stored in the closets smelled of mothballs, the showers needed a proper scrub and the patio furniture was definitely not wiped down before we checked in. Clearly the unit needs a "deep clean".
We love this accommodation! We really enjoyed it here.
Wonderfully close to the sea, enough space for everyone and our big Christmas tree that we drove up for an early Christmas that everyone can attend. Will definitely book Miss Lucy again in the future. 10/10 thank you very much.
Beautiful unit, walking distance to the beach!
Definitely will like to experience summer if winter was this excellent, close proximity to Agulhas, Suiderstrand in one direction and visit to Bredasdorp, Kassiesbaai, Arniston Waenhuiskraal. The beach in Struisbaai, the best flat stretches. From Miss Lucy we walked daily to the beach, rain didn't stop us. L'Agulhas Fisheries the best service and meals, friendly staff, our go to place. Miss Lucy is highly recommended, 3 bedrooms with 2 en-suite and a separate shower with toilet. Fully fitted kitchen, premium DStv, patio braai and roof braai areas. Garage and safe parking space. Nothing short of being in a 5-star hotel. Highly recommended. Thank you Allastair, Sonja and amazing Annetjie.
Miss Lucy, is a gem. Within walking distance to the beach and shops. A definite place to go back to.
Value for money and friendly communication.
Have fun and relax in Miss Lucy. We were a family of 6 and the 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms worked well for us. Just want to mention that the bedroom with the 2 bunk beds was a bit inconvenient for our 2 older boys. It is more suitable for children under 12 years old.
The owners Allister & Sonja are the best, Mrs Visser is the sweetest lady. Making sure that we were comfortable & happy at all times. The flat & outdoor space is just a hidden gem, clean, relaxing and perfect for our kids to run around and play. Will surely be back very soon.
Miss Lucy was exactly what we needed as a family with a busy toddler and fun seeking teenagers. The owners were friendly and helpful. We will definitely return in the near future. We had great fun in a safe environment.

Patio furniture wasn't very comfortable - only negative comment.
Parking is a problem.
Safe, great for children.
I would suggest they pay attention to the following. There was not enough warm bedding, 1 fleece blanket per bed and no duvets or electric blankets, in winter this is not sufficient. Some of the wood on the stairs is loose and unsafe. We couldn't use the upper braai area because the door was too swollen to get open.
We had a wonderful stay in the apartment. Kids loved the big lawn and swimming pool. I would only point out that the downstairs balconies are not very private, to be expected in an apartment block of course, but this was not a problem for us anyway as our kids quickly made friends with the neighbours children and enjoyed their company. Our children were also quite loud when they were playing outside but nobody seemed to mind. Luckily for us.
It was very nice, I will go back again.
