The hostess and host are very friendly and helpful where necessary. It's definitely recommended for people looking for a few days of peace. A hidden gem to return to again someday.

Such a stunning setting and location. It is 30-40 meters walk from the beach, which is essentially on your doorstep (there is a cul-de-sac one needs to cross and then you are on the beach itself). The flatlet is modern, tastefully decorated, and well equipped. The air-conditioning in both bedrooms is welcomed at night. Highly recommended.
Neat, clean and well equipped. The best though was the wonderful swimming beach in front of the unit.
Our stay was amazing. From the time that we were received by the hosts to the time that we left. The fact that we were literally on the beach made the whole weekend. We also loved the small touches in the unit. Thank you for a great stay.
Beautiful little place with everything you need.
A true home away from home. Francois made sure we truly had everything we needed and then some! I just found the complimentary chocolates we found on our beds in my handbag and was overwhelmed with nostalgia. A very pleasant weekend away.

Place was tidy on arrival and looked exactly like in photos. I expected there to be braai wood based on other guests' reviews, but there wasn't when we arrived so we just canceled the braai we had planned at the time. Other than that, everything was neat and worth the effort. Will definitely stay there again.
The view was breathtaking, although a few key aspects were missing. A table inside where we could eat would have been welcomed. As I was traveling with my in-laws, we couldn't all sit at the dining table. It's not suitable for older people. There wasn't a dishwasher as advertised, nor was there an indoor braai; only an outside BBQ area. It was windy when we used the BBQ, so the smoke came in through the air conditioners and into the rooms. The whole apartment smelled of smoke before we could figure out where it was coming from. The linen was not soft and felt cheap, and the entire house is shown in the first picture, instead of the small apartment you're actually staying in. There is also no bench outside to sit on as shown in the pictures. WiFi is advertised but did not work at all.

Very nice stay. Nice view and walking distance from the sea. Well-equipped kitchen with nice braai area. Friendly welcome and bonus of enough braai wood for the first braai.
If you want to relax this is the place. Peaceful atmosphere with breathtaking view. Hosts very friendly. Accommodation was top notch. Als was clean and tidy. Nothing was missing. Will definitely use the accommodation again. It's the place to refresh your soul.

The atmosphere on Hannes Bay was gentle and user friendly, I would book the place again anytime.
Francois and Susanne - you won't get better on the Weksus. They really went out of their way to make sure we were home and had everything we needed. I definitely recommend them for a nice visit by the sea!

Very nice stay at Misty Dawn. It's neat, clean, cosy. Location is very good. Love the outside dining area which is nice and private. Only recommendation might be WiFi, especially for a family.

Because we were newcomers to the area, we had the information about attractions in and around St. Helena Bay really appreciated what was detailed in the unit. The owners were helpful and friendly, and we will definitely stop by Misty Dawn again.

Misty Dawn is a well appointed ground floor apartment steps from the beach with a wonderful view. The hosts are very gracious and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
