Misty Orchards offers self-catering accommodation on a working fruit farm, Waboom Farm, which is owned by Dutoit Agri one of South Africa's leading agri-producers. The self-catering guest house lies on the slopes of the Outeniqua Mountain, and derives its name from the fresh mountain mist that creeps across the Outeniqua's in the late afternoon. The mist nourishes the pristine fynbos on the mountainside behind Misty Orchards and is ideal for the fruit orchards which fall away in front of the guest house against a backdrop of mountain vistas.

The guest house comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, lounge, and dining area. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with a double bed, and the third room has 2 single beds. All of the rooms have panel heaters and fans. The shared bathroom is fitted with a bath and a shower. All bedding and towels are provided, and extra blankets are available.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge, stove, oven, microwave as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. There is an 8-seater wooden dining table and chairs in the dining area. The cosy lounge contains a gas fireplace for those chilly evenings. The guest house also offers an undercover braai area, with all braai equipment and enough wood.
