"Had a good stay, few small things that can be improved."

Accommodation was good - Our toilet kept on breaking and we could not find the switch to switch on nozzles for pool. No generator - A 5 star establishment like this should have a back-up generator. Power was off when we arrived which made the rooms very hot and uncomfortable. There was load shedding as well so had to do our spa treatment in the dark and heat which was unpleasant - they could not even offer us toast with our breakfast. They could have at least offered a normal slice of bread. The supper was not nice at all. First night we had steak and cous-cous which was so dry we had to swallow it down with our drinks. Second night I had the fish and my husband the ostrich which was the same ─ very dry. One would think that at least one night we would have a braai and be able to sit around the boma, after all that is what other establishments offer when you stay there. Breakfast was fine, lunch we had the mutton chops with chips, that was our best food for the weekend. The bar - very expensive and if you sit outside and enjoy your drinks you have to get up and refill your drinks yourself, surely with a 5 star rating guests should be served at all times? The game drives were amazing, Njabulo, our ranger, and Vusi, the spotter, was very good and super friendly. We had excellent game viewing. All in all we had a good stay apart from the above mentioned issues, but I will not spend all that money to go there again. We stayed in a lot of other 5 star establishments at more or less the same price and cheaper where the service was much better.
