16 guests' feedbackWe so enjoyed our time at this location. The accommodation is far enough away from the road noise, which most other street-facing units have. All equipment and bedding were perfect. The only small challenge is the stairs, but I would rather have the stairs and enjoy a panoramic view, which is absolutely fantastic!
Very nice stay. Very nice sea view. The kitchen could only be a little better equipped. There was e.g. just two coffee cups. But otherwise very cute.
The apartment was a pleasant surprise! The housekeeper went more than the extra mile to help us. The apartment was comfortable, well located and fully equipped. It was a lovely stay, thank you.
There is a real lack of lights from the ground floor through to the stone stairs. Came home dark every night and couldn't see anything. And something that I was very unhappy about was that there was no cleaning service, although we saw in the lower house being cleaned. Same towels for 6 days, no bed making, dish washing, sweeping or dusting. It was quite a big disappointment. I would love some feedback on that.
It is unusual but being in our seventies we should have been warned about the 50 - 60 plus steep stairs that need to be negotiated to get to your room and the fact that the kitchen / lounge area are seaparte and can only be accessed from the bedroom by ascending yet more stairs on the outside.
The apartment is very spacious and had everything we needed. I would recommend that they put in a different shower head - I'm short and by the time the water reaches me it stops spraying my body and I literally had to dance around between the drops. They can also consider putting a kettle with cups in the bedroom, you don't feel like running out for a coffee all the time. A few extra cups will help too. It is nice that there was coffee and sugar to use. The apartment is not quite close to the busy part of Kalk Bay - but we could easily walk to the restaurants and never felt unsafe. There were also swimming towels and an umbrella. The WiFi was not always available. We had a really nice stay!

Few points - no bottle opener, bed very squeaky! The stairs could be a problem for some.
Very nice view, but could pay more attention to cleanliness. Marks on pillowcase and face towel. Toilet seat is broken and human hair on blanket. Also very well furnished. Refrigerator's freezer compartment is frozen.
A whole lot of stairs, very slippery due to moss. No hand railings. Will definitely have to inform guests. Bedroom and kitchen are separate areas and very impractical, especially during the rainy season.
