What a gem Unit 1 of Modern Retro Apartments was. The place is picture perfect! Everything is of excellent quality. The bed sleeps like a dream and, with luxury linen, as well as the softest towels. The house is super clean and tidy. The decor is tasteful, with modern and vintage elements that fit beautifully together. Thank you for all the treats, biscuits, cappuccinos and milk. The small courtyard outside creates a lovely atmosphere. We can recommend Modern Retro Apartment 1 with full confidence. Looking forward to staying there again when we are in Pretoria.

Very welcoming place located within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and bars. The rooms are very clean. Loved this place! Our deluxe double room was good size, very comfortable, with clean white linens and a great good sized en-suite, which had a great shower. Rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable.You feel at home. We had pancakes for breakfast and they were delicious! Theresa was a most accommodating host. Above all, the owners are more than friendly. They make you feel like old friends who come for a visit. The owners are gentle people and always working to please the guests.
