Betsie and Alex were very helpful and accommodating. We were a large group of 24 and everyone enjoyed their stay. The place was neat and tidy, right in the bush surrounded by nature and getting up to the sounds of various birds. Wonderful place to relax and unwind.
4x4 cars can sometimes be noisy in the camping area.

The owners are so friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our time there so much. The woodland atmosphere is exactly what we needed. House was clean and tidy and provided everything we needed. Lovely pool area. We had a nice barbecue in the evening. Beautiful garden, beautiful birds and cute dogs who came to say hello (we will miss Wiele and Landrover). We recommend the place and would love to visit again. They make you feel like friends.
The Thursday evening was quiet and peaceful and the reception very hospitable. On Friday late afternoon I had to complain because the music at the bar was so loud that we couldn't hear the night noises, the music was softer for a while but as the evening went on it got worse until we went to sleep. The Saturday was better again but on Sunday night it continued until late again. I thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor showers with hot water as well as being able to drive around the farm with my own vehicle and we saw a lot of wildlife. Other campers were also unhappy about the music and thanked me after I complained.
We visited Moegatle 4x4. We had a wonderful stay. Great swimming pool for quick swim when we needed to cool down. The braais and camping sites are clean and very big. The staff, Betsie and Alex, are were friendly and helpful. Many thanks for a wonderful stay, we will be back soon.
We stayed in a tent house and it was clean, tidy and comfortably furnished. The whole site was neat and clean. We didn't feel unsafe for a moment. The hosts are wonderful people, friendly and very concerned about their guests. I would definitely recommend Moegatle to anyone who needs a break from the mad rush of the city. We will definitely visit again. The domestic donkeys are terribly cute. Saw wildebeest, roe deer and of course many guinea fowls. It was delicious and will definitely go again.

Silence! stars! a getaway in the forest throw chains off your shoulders and just relax. Alex and Betsie are two great people who make you feel very much at home.
Betsie and Alex run Moegatle and from the minute we got there they made us feel at home. The serene and welcoming environment from start to end was only a small part of the amazing experience we had. Alex and Betsie were the perfect hosts and made us feel like family. They were friendly, welcoming and completely accommodating. The room was charming and perfectly suitable by any standard and equipped with what exactly what is necessary for time away in the bush. We look forward to more trips to Moegatle.
