813 guests' feedbackExcellent and tidy accommodation! Absolute value for money! Very nice view and close to many activities!
Yes, thank you, everything was nice.
Absolutely beautiful. I will stay here again when I pass through. Stunning views and close to everything and a wonderful place.
Mainly used as a base for exploring the Panorama Route, so mainly used for sleeping. Basic accommodation, but all we needed.
Lovely stay, bonus is access to Graskop Gorge. Close to surrounding attractions.
We always stay at Mogodi Lodge. It doesn't disappoint. Always a pleasure to stay there. Very convenient location too.
Had a great time there, location is perfect. P.S. Not my first time staying there, so that sums it up.
Very nice, clean and comfortable apartment with everything you need. Centrally located for all the attractions. Fireplace was nice on the cold days and accommodation was comfortable with cleaners every day.
Mogodi Lodge was clean and the beds were very comfortable. It's on the premises of the Graskop Gorge, so if you stay there, it makes doing the Panorama Route much easier. Staying there also means free access to the Graskop Gorge, and that was an extra bonus. I would highly recommend holidaymakers to stay there.
Good experience, really enjoyed it except for the bad cold weather.
Unit was comfortable, neat and clean. Restaurant tops.
Very accommodating when we had an unfortunate mix-up with flights and were several hours delayed and arrived after check-in – we called ahead of time and they were quick to assure us that we would still be able to check in late, which we are very grateful for. The accommodation was clean, well maintained, and spacious. Tea and coffee sachets were greatly appreciated after a very long day, and the Wi-Fi was good and easily accessible. Security was fantastic and the gentleman on duty was very helpful in showing us around as well as allowing us to leave and return for a late dinner in the town. The beds were very comfortable, the amenities were good, and the bathrooms were clean and nice. We were very happy with everything overall and would happily stay there again.
Very nice stay. Good value for money.
It was a peaceful stay.
Very nice stay, best time of the year chosen in terms of climate. Accommodation was clean, serviced every day. Safe and very neat.
Silver clean units. Very spacious. Friendly reception after hours. Fantastic location. Good value for money.
It was probably the best place to stay that we could have chosen to enjoy the sights that the area has to offer. Location is fantastic. Comfortable place to stay and would definitely recommend their Italian restaurant down the street. Had a great time with the best service and very delicious food. With Gorge Lift right there, it was the best stay. Friendly reception.
We loved it, the staff that we met were super friendly and helpful, the chalet was clean, warm and very comfortable. Enjoyed the discounts for the gorge, the shop and the restaurant.
Free access to the Graskop Adventure Centre next door was an unexpected added bonus.
The place was breathtaking, the views, the welcoming reception. The rooms were always kept clean. We are coming back again.
The place was clean and very spacious, and everything we needed was provided.
I had a very beautiful stay and enjoyed myself. The only concern we had was the wooden base of the bed. It was making noise, especially when you turn. But apart from that, it was a beautiful stay. I will still come.
Great place to stay and friendly staff.
We had a very nice stay. The unit is neat and clean. Can definitely be recommended.
We had a very nice stay. Unit was clean and serviced every day, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Ideally located if you want to drive and explore the surrounding area.
We had a very nice stay. It's very neat, clean and peaceful. The backpackers accommodation is luxurious with its own shower and toilet. The environment is breathtaking with the sound of the waterfall that is here with you. We can highly recommend it.
We had the chance to enjoy with friends and family and enjoyed every moment.
We had an amazing time!
See stars.
Mogodi Lodge is in a picturesque location, and the lodge itself is very neat and clean. I would have appreciated just a climbing frame or something like that for kids. Furthermore, we had a very nice stay.
A comfortable and pretty quiet place to stay. Good-sized rooms and the chalet was cleaned daily. The whole family enjoyed the stay.
It was a great stay, knowing that we have a free entrance and a 10% discount on everything at Graskop Gorge.
The place was amazing.
No complaints, als was tidy but would prefer at least a fan to be available in each room. Especially when it was as hot as we experienced it.
We had a very nice stay.
Stay was lovely, big rooms, neat and clean.
It was a pleasant visit.
It was super good, I really enjoyed every minute of my visit.
Very nice stay. Do it again.
Had a wonderful stay - place is well located, clean, provides everything one could need. Small shop on site selling soft drinks and souvenirs. Will stay here again for sure.
It was wonderfully quiet.
Beautiful view, friendly people, close enough to everything.
Staying at Mogodi Lodge was very comfortable and safe. The free entrance at Graskop Gorge was a big bonus.
I had to travel through the area for the purposes of giving more credibility to a story I am working on by accuracy. Mogodi is well located for anyone exploring the area, and their backpacker rooms are very well equipped - better than what would be expected from typical backpacker lodges. If you want breakfast useful, remember to book in advance. We tried to take advantage of the free WiFi, but the signal was extremely weak and cut out more than it worked. My son's phone wouldn't even connect at all. With your booking you also get free access to the glass lift complex, as well as 10% off any restaurant meal. We would definitely recommend the elevator experience (you'll still have to pay for the specific activities, but it's worth it). The gorge is fairytale beautiful, from above but even more so from below.
Place was clean and tidy upon arrival, people are very friendly. Very nice stay and the view was fantastic.
Very enjoyable. Very close to tourist attractions. Close to Parkrun venue. Walk to the Gorge Lift with free entrance. Unit was well-equipped. Well worth the stay.
We had a great stay for 2 nights. The fireplace was nice for the cold. There is everything you need. There are just no climbing frames etc. not for children.
Beautiful location, very tidy, value for money! Good customer service, was very helpful and friendly.
Everything was great, nice and relaxed.
It was very nice. Clean and tidy. Convenient with a restaurant on site.
Good stay. The restaurant doesn't have food options or breakfast options. Good benefit to use jumping.
Yes, very clean and friendly.
Nice quiet and beautiful area.
Pleasant, ideally located.
It's just a shame the braai area doesn't have a roof. If you want to barbecue in the afternoon, it's incredibly hot in the sun. Back porch is nice in the cool, looks out on the Graskop Gorge lift, but there is no braai. Restaurant at the lodge's times are also not appropriate, only open in the morning and in the evening. After a busy day one would like to relax in the afternoon 12:00 to 15:00 e.g. stop for something to drink and snack.
The place is spacious and clean. Everything you need is available. We really appreciated the fireplace. Cleaners only started cleaning the unit next to us very early, and moving of furniture was very annoying. Just wanted to come rest. I believe after 10 would have been a better time for cleaning units. Nice view and very nice stay.
The hotel room was neat. The gorge is not accessible from the lodge. We did get free access to the Gorge Lift Company on the other side (where the suspension bridge and wooden walkway are).
Comfortable but no wood supplied for the braai or indoor fire. No condiments, tea/coffee not replenished. For visitors from afar, having to buy these basics is wasteful.
The lodge is immaculately maintained and tranquil. One of the quietest getaways we have ever experienced. There is not much to do in Graskop, but the lodge ensured that everything you need to stay at home was provided for on the cold days.
Had an awesome visit at Mogodi!
Second time coming, will definitely visit again.
Close to my place of work.
Very nice location and comfortable.
Simple but clean accommodation in a beautiful location. Lower rating for safety because our sliding glass door could be wiggled and unlocked from outside. Great included breakfast across the gorge at the restaurant as well.
Stay was excellent. Our rooms were always clean.
It would be nice to have a bar fridge, even for hotel rooms, for cold drinks, snacks, and water that need to be kept cold and fresh. When not as cold as it should be, it makes it less enjoyable to consume.
Everything was perfect and nice, except the shower and the pressure of the water as well as the cold tap. Other than that, no complaints.
Pleasant. But TV channels were weak, shower head was loose and the walls are thin in the hotel rooms. Could hear everything from the neighbors (probably they heard us too).
We had a wonderful stay, thank you very much!
Very calm and peaceful stay we had. Away from the busy city life.
It was not bad, although I thought you at least had a fridge. I mean it is self-catering, but we can't even warm our food. Really, I don't know how that works.
No fan/roof fan available with heat degree 35 °C. No fridge/bar fridge to keep your water and soft drinks cold.
Room is comfortable and clean. However, there are no public braai or cooking facilities, which was inconvenient since we stayed in the backpacker area. Also, there is no way to see the gorge without leaving the premises. From the photos used to advertise, it looks like you can see the gorge and perhaps have a drink with a view. This is not the case at all, and the photos are a bit misleading.
We loved staying there; however, when we checked in, our shower and bathroom were very dirty. The bedding is worn out, and the one single bed was squeaky, feeling the springs on your body when you sleep. The quality of the towels could be better.
The bridge linking this accommodation to the Graskop Lift Gorge is permanently closed, so there really is no point to staying here. Everything feels a little old and tired and in need of some care - simple things like cutting the grass would help!
Exciting, peaceful, adventurous.
Great stay thank you.
One word, brilliant. However, the rain almost spoiled my trip.
Our stay was perfect. It was our first-year anniversary. The room was perfect, clean, and cosy. The view was excellent. We could see the Graskop Lift from our balcony. The added benefits that came with the room were a big surprise.
Beautiful place, tranquil, attentive host.
Friendly and professional staff, 'home away from home' accommodation.
Very friendly welcome. Our room was very nice and spacious with all the necessary facilities. The attractions are located nice and close. We were pretty central to everything and the nice discount at the Gorge was a bonus.
Had a nice stay and explored the area.
We are very happy with the service but we would appreciate having at least a bar fridge in the bed and breakfast hotel rooms.
It was a lovely surprise. The accommodation is neat and the chalet is spotless. We had a wonderful stay.
Really enjoyed our stay there. The place is really nice. Value for money. Everyone there was friendly.
Wonderful stay at Mogodi Lodge, run by helpful and lovely people.
It is a central place where we can access a lot of activities close by, such as waterfalls, God's Window, etc.
Very nice area, very hospitable and makes the experience as easy and enjoyable as possible.
Such a great place to stay. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The staff are amazing. Will definitely be going back again.
The Highlander Pub & Restaurant is a winner, great food, fantastic staff and just a place that makes you feel welcome. Book ahead of time.
Everything was perfect.
It was worth it.
Very nice shop and restaurant. Friendly people.
Mogodi Lodge is underrated it should be rated 5 stars — the service was beyond our expectations. Rooms were cleaned and serviced daily, which was another plus, and located just at the right spot for nearly everything we wanted to do for our family vacation.
Mogodi Lodge is beautiful and we really enjoyed it! Hospitality and friendliness of staff was outstanding. There are only two points that I would like to bring to Mogodi's attention for improvement: 1. It would be nice if the units could get new towels and linen. 2. A little more provision for power failure would be appreciated. E.g. gas boiler and stove and more battery lights. Besides, everything is lovely.
Excellent place and the view over the mountains is wonderful.
What a wonderful time we had at the Highveld pub with Vince and Kyle going out of their way to make us feel welcome. Definitely try the dry-aged rump steak on the menu. The best I have had in a very long time. Being right next to the Lift Co. this location is ideal for a quick stay over. Will come again!
Very friendly people, restaurant has very good food, would definitely recommend.
We are so pleased to have stayed at Mogodi Lodge and will definitely return in the future.
We enjoyed it very much. Although we didn't jump or zip line, we did walk across the suspension bridge. It's really beautiful there.
I love it, it's the best.
There was a lot to see and do. The accommodation was clean and tidy and the restaurant owners were hospitable and served delicious food. Breakfast was included, and when we decided against it because we had to hit the road again early, a packed lunch was arranged for each of us.
Friendly hosts and loved the food.
The lodge is a great place for travellers looking to visit all the great sites of Graskop. The restaurant at the lodge was amazing and had homely food. The facilities were well taken care of and the cleaning staff was really active.
Great value for money. I stayed in the backpackers - it was clean, the bed was comfortable, the water was hot and there was a light to use during load shedding. Ate at the Highlander Inn - got a 10% discount for staying at Mogodi Lodge, very good meal. Got given free access to the Graskop Gorge, which is just next door. I highly recommend Mogodi Lodge backpackers' accommodation!
Your service was so amazing and your room was extraordinarily clean, and beautifully decorated. are looking forward to come back. I can recommend Mogodi Lodge to anyone who wants a vacation. we enjoyed our vacation. wow! The view it self says a lot. we really appreciate keep it up with everything.
Definitely value for money. Neat, clean and safe. There is no WiFi available yet, but we understand that there will be soon. The signal is also bad, but that is understandable given where the place is located. The shop/reception had no wood (we asked on Friday and again on Saturday, I think they could make a plan). You can drive to town for that, but if you go with motorbikes it is not so easy. It would be good for the reception to provide a daily load shedding schedule (place under your door/send via WhatsApp or even just post at the reception's entrance. This will help people to be more prepared. The units may also be equipped with a small gas stove just to be able to boil water for tea/coffee when there is no power.I would like to recommend the Highlands Pub & Restaurant!Very good service and delicious food! They know how to prepare a steak!
We've seen everything, but wanted to take the lift down into the Gorge, it's the perfect place to stay to enjoy everything there. Definitely worth it.
We had a nice stay near the waterfall that we heard all night. The service in the restaurant was good. The next morning we went to see the waterfall in the gorge where we had free access.
Mogodi Lodge is one of the better places to stay! The scenery is very beautiful!
Very close to all the beautiful places to see.
Please put Wi-Fi and DStv in, otherwise it's amazing.
Very nice, just very hot. Perhaps a fan is missing.
Excellent location and layout. It has everything one would need to have a magic holiday. Lovely place to stay and really clean. It's spacious, clean, friendly staff, close to everything. The only drawback with that area is cell reception during load shedding is nonexistent.
The staff is very friendly and helpful even the manager is so loving person.
Nice stay with everything you need. The restaurant is cozy and serves good food with good service, especially during load shedding.
It was my 30th birthday getaway and it was worth every penny.
Unfortunately, peace and quiet was limited. This is not so much the fault of Mogodi Lodge, but there was very loud music nearby that played from about 8pm until about 3am. This might have been because it was a Saturday night and it is doubtful anything can be done as it was outside the lodge. However, it did impact our experience.
Many thanks to Mogodi Lodge who kept the fireplace clean and helped with chopping wood without us asking.
The service at reception was great, the rooms were always clean and had almost everything you would need for your stay. The only disappointing thing about our stay there was at the restaurant was not so welcoming and they didn't look so interested in assisting us and even paid more attention to customers who came after us.
Mogodi Lodge is a lovely place to stay, close to everything with a beautiful view. Needs some attention but would definitely recommend.
Excellent property and is very convenient to nearby attractions and activities. Front desk staff was efficient, pleasant and helpful. Our self-catering unit had a fantastic old-time charm and was cleaned on our arrival and daily housekeeping kept our unit clean. The gorge lift and rain forest on the doorstep were a winner for us! The family-run restaurant was an added bonus as it saved us from cooking. though the dining room and bar lacked ambience and background music, The meals and drinks were well priced.
It was an excellent choice.
Place is nice and clean.
It was lovely - thank you.
It was the greatest excitement.
Location and views are priceless. Will definitely come back with friends.
Unit is neat and clean and the stay was pleasant.
Recommended! Will visit you again.
The place is quiet, safe close to shops. But very cold, luckily there's a fireplace. Overall the place is proper.
Amazing place. Nice, clean, peaceful, and has friendly staff. Location is prefect. Staying there also gives you free access to the Graskop Gorge and Lift Co.
Just wish the chalets could have Wi-Fi and air-conditioning. During load shedding there are no backup lights, only 1 candle, which is not safe.
Beautiful location with residence that offers everything, even restaurant with very good food for when there is load shedding going on.
It's like that in nature. Out of the town noise. The food at the restaurant was delicious as well as breakfast. Apartment was clean. Beautiful, green grass. The lift is something to experience and the beauty of nature. Only bad thing is the car that has to park far from the lodge. Will visit again.
Self-catering unit was basic but had als. Price was a bit high for type of unit, but unit was nice clean and tidy. The location is excellent! Restaurant is good and although menu was limited due to loadshedding, food was tasty and service very good.
Second time we stay here. Very comfortable and well equipped. Excellent location.
Mogodi Lodge is well located for those who want to visit all the attractions in the area. Service was good and rooms were equipped with everything one needs. The restaurant's food and service are also top notch.
Everything was perfect. The only thing they need to fix is the leaks on the ceiling.
Had a lovely stay at Mogodi Lodge.
The staff of the accommodation were very friendly and everything was clean and tidy. I can recommend it and will certainly stay there again if I go to Graskop again.
Neat and comfortable accommodation, value for money. Restaurant very nice atmosphere, excellent service and good prices. Staff at lodge very helpful and friendly. Only recommendation is fan for rooms.
Thank you for upgrading accommodation due to the stairs.
Neat and spacious units for a family of 4. Close to all attractions in the area. Signal just terribly bad. Wifi and DSTV in the units would be a great addition.
The staff were very kind and helpful. The view from our chalet was absolutely gorgeous. I think that they could have modernised the lodge a bit more. Otherwise, we had a fantastic stay!
Old building and also must invest in energy backup like solar.
It was really good. During load shedding, the on-site restaurant is closed, but close enough to the town centre to have something to eat.
Friendly reception, very helpful with questions about Graskop. A nice place where we slept with all accessories as expected.
Management was friendly and check-in was quick. The location is beautiful with nearby activities outside of the lodge. The furniture was comfortable. The biggest disappointment was the restaurant on the property. When we checked in, it was closed without any mention on Google Maps or during the booking process that they are closed on Tuesdays. Furthermore, the following night they decided to close at 19:30, claiming that they were not busy.
The accommodation is well looked after, but it's a bit outdated. There is Wi-Fi available, but the signal is only strong close to reception.
Had a great meal at the Highlands and enjoyed a good time with the people there. Quinton van Mogodi was very friendly and helpful.
A nice weekend getaway. The place was neat and well located right next to Graskop Gorge. Guests at Mogodi Lodge get free access to Graskop Gorge where there are restaurants, shops etc. is (normally R60/pp admission). The only problem was Phase 6 load shedding and Mogodi Lodge has no provision for that. There wasn't even a battery light or gas plate. Maybe you should recommend people to bring their own gas stove and battery lights? Otherwise very good reception and we ate delicious food at the restaurant on site.
Stay was good. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning/fans in the units.
Great, but beds and couches need an upgrade.
Breakfast needs a lot of improvement as well as bathroom facilities.
The restaurant manager and his team were amazing. His customer service was the best and made up for the shortfalls in accommodation and customer services.
Dirty towels and soap from past visitors were left in the bathroom. We struggled to get hot water in the tub. The view was also not a part of the lodge. The restaurant and pub had very good service.
The lodge is so close to various activities and you don't have to pay for entrance.
Facilities were clean and everyone very friendly. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Place was neat, clean and everything was in their place. Had a great time and slept.
The place and staff are so friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was nice.
The staff are so friendly and so helpful. We recommend eating at the Highlands restaurant the food is outstanding and the service is superb. The view to the Gorge Lift is amazing. And the waterfall is breathtaking. We will definitely stay here again.
Will definitely come back again.
The location was perfect for our activities. The reception was excellent.
Will use again. Good location.
If you have a low budget and are looking for a place to stay, the Backpacker rooms are just the right place for you. The rooms are also cleaned daily. The on-site restaurant also has friendly staff and makes delicious food. Definitely a leaky place to sleep.
The units are spacious inside with more than enough space for everyone! The restaurant on site food and service is also very good and we will definitely stay there again!
Very neat place that is close to all the amenities and with friendly staff.
My 7 year old son and I didn't want to leave the place after 4 days and 3 nights of visiting. There was so much to do for both of us. I recommend the place to any person and my score is 100 out of 10!
We had a beautiful stay in a beautiful setting. We had a free upgrade to a self catering unit. It was very convenient. Breakfast and dinner were delicious at the Highlands. Very friendly people who work there.
It is a really beautiful place in a very good location. Everyone was very friendly and the cottages were very well equipped.
Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.
Very clean, tidy and modern living units fully equipped with everything you will need on a trip or short holiday. Mogodi was also willing to host me for just one night where a nearby lodge demanded a minimum of more than one night. The lodge also adjoins the Gorge Lift Company and has an on-site restaurant and bar. The staff are also friendly and helpful. I can really recommend it.
Worth it with a beautiful view.
I arrived and the reception assisted me accordingly, however, I changed to a room for self-catering availability but was assisted same time, the breakfast was outstanding, vehicle park was outside and a very safe area.
Great place to visit would go again and would definitely recommend friends and family to stay there.
We were very comfortable in our serviced chalet. The Adventure Centre is accessible across the suspension bridge.
A lovely self catering chalet meeting all the requirements. Winter nights are chilly so a heating wall panel in the 2nd bedroom would help. All in all a great place to stay. I will highly recommend it and shall return in future.
It was a nice getaway. Really enjoyed the stay, the place was nice and clean and the receptionist and cleaners were very friendly. The lodge is also located in a nice place, you don't have to drive far to do anything.
Mogodi Lodge is centrally located for the sightseeing we have planned. The facilities were very neat, clean and everything worked. Good information was available at reception about attractions in the area.
The staff is very nice and friendly, we really enjoyed our stay at Mogodi Lodge. Their place is clean with the best views.
Not great for noise over the long weekends when it gets busy next door but it ends fairly early in the afternoon when one is off exploring the surrounding area. They provide a tea and coffee station. Towels. TV. Beds are ready to be slept on.
Would definitely recommend the place to rest.
Beautiful, clean and equipped. Perfectly located with a lovely walking route from your cottage.
I already recommended the place to few of my friends. I will definitely call again soon.
A lovely quiet place for getaway.
Friendly staff. Prime location and a view to die for.
We were very satisfied.
Might pay attention to the WiFi. Other than that it was great.
The lodge has a stunning view. Will always stay there.
Very neat and clean, was kindly received and received very good service at the eating place on the grounds.
Easy payment options at sites.
A great place for its stunning views. The Gorge Lift, Zipline and swing do, however, make it a noisy place to stay. If you're looking for peace and quiet. this will not give you that. However, the vibe is friendly if noisy, it's pleasant when the crowds from the Gorge have left.
The lodge is a few paces to the Graskop Gorge Liftco and minutes to heritage sites and falls. The restaurant is on site and meals are divine and affordable.
Value for money, peaceful and safe.
Absolutely something for the tourist.
Beautiful view and well located. The units are spacious, clean and tidy. The walls are a bit thin, so you hear the neighbors all the time, but the management enforces strict rules about noise, so it wasn't a problem. The Highlands pub on site's food is delicious.
Mogodi Lodge went out of their way to make our stay pleasant, right from an early morning call before we arrived telling us that the road we would be using to get there, had been severely damaged through blasting been done in roadworks on our route and suggesting that we take an alternate route. The only downside was the noisy music from Graskop Gorge Lift.
The stay was comfortable, very quiet and tranquil. The only let down was that the pool was not cleaned and in a usable state.
Had an amazing weekend, great weather and nice people.
Best value for money the is a great location near many attractions.
I'm going back soon.
Never underestimate the value of hot, fresh coffee in the morning, the price we paid was absolutely worth it! The staff, in particular Kyle, was really kind and willing to attend any request.
If possible to put a shelter at braai area for when it rain you can still braai.
Very nice, clean and tidy.
It was lovely, just wish there was wifi for the kids and also a bit more equipped with iron and board.
Short visit. Restaurant delicious food with a beautiful view. Just need a teaspoon to make the coffee. TV reception also very bad. Very safe. Good location.
Our accommodation has been upgraded at no extra charge.
Nice view, good location, very friendly staff. Restaurant meals very good. Just a pity that internet is weak there. Nice big and clean chalet houses.
Ideal place to play together again. Unfortunately, the weather was terrible, then the chances for exploration are very slim, since they don't allow you to places like God's Window and some of the waterfalls.
Staff are friendly, very centrally located and very nice and clean.
Towels, crockery and utensils could be a better quality.
The cupboards had a musty smell. There were an awful lot of ants. Couldn't even find anything on any counter or in cupboards. The ants track it down (had to throw away a lot of food, sweets, etc.). The sheets could be replaced a bit, were old and smelled of mold. Other than that it was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and the people there very friendly. Bonus was the lovely pool. Perfect location.
Chalet was clean and neat, only downside is no aircon or fans, limited TV channels, no WiFi, and limited kitchen utensils.
I have to say, the bathtub is very scratched and the toilet seat can definitely be replaced. The toilet light keeps flashing all the time. Maintenance can feel free to check the places before they are booked out. The accommodation stipulates no loud music, but the music from nearby "houses/shebeens" makes it impossible to enjoy a good night's rest. The music was rock hard on Thursday, June 16, from early afternoon until 5 o'clock Friday morning, June 17, 2022. This is totally unacceptable as we went to enjoy nature's beauty and tranquility. I cannot recommend Mogodi Lodge to any of my colleagues and friends as they all want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. They definitely don't want to hear rock hard music all night long into the morning, right on your front porch. It was exactly the same situation on Friday night. This also made us decide to leave all the accommodation on Saturday afternoon. We were booked until Sunday.
Very nice place and I would definitely come back.
Very nice place. Friendly service. Just a pity it is not specified anywhere that the restaurant is closed on Sundays.
The place is beautiful.
The website should mention Hotelroom or chalet.
The room was clean and the staff was friendly.
Service was fantastic! Room was clean and comfortable. On photos it looks like there should be a nice view but unfortunately we couldn't see anything like it. The photos are misleading. Not value for money.
The lodge has very nice views and close to tourist spots.
The location is central. Which allowed for daily outings in every direction. I’ll stay there again with friendly people where ever you go. Great breakaway. The glass house restaurant is a must go to in Graskop.
It is a really nice place with a very good location. Everyone was very friendly and the units are well equipped. We are going to visit them again in December with family from England.
Unfortunately the Highland Pub & Restaurant did not give us the 10% discount when we enjoyed dinner there. This is after I asked for the promised 10% discount. Went to eat at other eateries in Graskop all the other evenings.
I would definitely go back there in the future.
Clean, tidy and very friendly.
Beautiful place. Located in a nice place.
The person at reception immediately made you feel welcome.
My calls to the contact number provided as point of contact went unattended on our way to Mogodi. I was scared we were scammed. They could provide wood at an extra cost than having to go buy it somewhere else. Otherwise, a decent accommodation with amazing view, and calming river sound.
The views are beautiful and the sounds of the waterfall bring nothing but sense of tranquility.
Perfect for short breaks.
We stayed in three of the hotel rooms. They were basic, but adequately furnished. Unfortunately some of the rooms smelled of stale cigarette smoke and stayed unpleasantly cold although we put the small panel heaters on. The ceiling in our bathroom had water damage. The mattresses were really uncomfortable. The worst was that the rooms are not sound proof and we had to listen to our unknown neighbour's frolicking well past midnight.
For the price you pay per night I expected much better. Place looks abandoned and somewhat dilapidated. Sinks are cracked, showers are falling apart and drying cloths are full of holes. No fan anywhere for the hot days. Pool is dirty and gardens grass long. The view from the chalets is not as you see it in the photos. At least the accommodation is conveniently close to the Gorge Lift and people who work at the restaurant are very friendly and the food very tasty.
The Lodge is located opposite the Graskop bungee jump and slides. The noise was very bad, to such an extent that we had to turn up the television to try and neutralize the noise across the lodge. If one wants to go to rest, this is definitely not the right choice. Would personally also replace all the electric ovens with gas stoves. Kan could not prepare food at all in load shedding time.
Beds poor quality. A lot of noise.
We regret every bit of our decision to make Mogodi our preferred resort. There is no value for money. It should not be called self-catering.
Mogodi Lodge is not safe, please avoid it. Don't risk it.
Mogodi Lodge is very centrally located to visit all the attractions. Hospitality and friendliness struck us. The cleanliness and well-furnished chalet made us feel welcome. We will definitely visit Mogodi Lodge again.
Great accommodation, friendly and genuine people. Chalets excellent. The restaurant and the people who work there are people from the heart and make you feel very much at home. Overall a fantastic experience.
Excellent and great!
We had a very nice time, rest nicely and enjoy owner stay at Mogodi Lodge, it wil definitely visit this place again.
We had a wonderful visit and stay. Will definitely use you again.
Mogodi Lodge you took my breath away. Good job done.
Great value for money.
For the surrounding area it is one of the best venues. Its central to many attractions including The Gorge.
Really enjoyed our time there. Chalet was clean and tidy. Excellent location and the staff from both reception and the restaurant were particularly pleasant. Will definitely stay there again if we are in the area again.
Apart from load shedding, it was a very nice stay and excellent customer service.
Wonderful experience.
Too little time and too much to do.
Place was very unique and so beautiful.
Very friendly and pleasant welcome. The units are much more spacious than depicted in the photos and very neat and clean. Ideally located for exploring Graskop and area attractions, and easy access to The Lift Company. Would recommend Mogodi Lodge anytime.
Very neat and clean. Restaurant's breakfast not up to expectations. Dinner at the restaurant, ribs were very tasty. Would have liked a roof for the car.
Besides that we couldn't get the double bed as we wished, we were very happy overall, Thank you, we will be coming back with the kids on our next trip in the near future.
Enjoyed thank you. Recommendation: the exterior door of apartment 4 needs some attention and is difficult to open. The dinner in the restaurant was served cold.
Mogodi lodge is central to many of the towns around Graskop. So it's a good place to stay..
Awesome place. They will definitely see us again.
It was excellent, just too short.
Enjoyed my stay, with friendly hotel staff and a great restaurant to dine at.
Enjoy a stay in a well-equipped, well-maintained chalet. Had a great time, definitely recommend.
The lodge is beautiful, clean and tidy with very friendly helpful staff. The rooms are perfectly cleaned every day. The breakfast is of top quality and the food is incredibly tasty. Great service and many benefits.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has the intention of going that side.
Exceed our expectations. The restaurant served excellent meals which made our stay even more enjoyable.
There was a cleaner every day. There is a restaurant/pub on the premises as well as a little shop. The view was exceptional and our entire experience of the Panorama Route was excellent.
From the reception to the chalet we had a great experience! We were welcomed warmly and provided information about the area, the lodge and our chalet. The chalet was clean and rooms well spaced for the family, never felt we were on top of each other.
In close proximity to everything.
Location is perfect to visit all the beautiful places in the area. There is a nice restaurant on site and also 2 near the Lodge which I would highly recommend. The Lodge is nice and quiet with pleasant and helpful staff. The 2 bedroom chalet was very spacious and had everything needed. We had a nice stay.
Great service and friendly people.
The people are friendly and you get free access to the Big Lift Company.
The chalet was very well equipped.
It is a nice place to go if you want to break away from a busy place like Johannesburg, you have a nice view and many places to go and do around Graskop.
Rooms were clean, people very professional and willing to go the extra mile. All and all an awesome experiences. One recommendation would be to at least put fans in the rooms. Just a personal preference/ opinion. Thank you for an amazing stay.
Mogodi Lodge has the best restaurant on site with the most beautiful view on the mountain.
Friendly staff, well looked after chalets, clean and safe. One of the best views you'll ever see.
Everything was prefect, the people who worked there are caring towards visitors.
Awesome place to lodge in, best in Graskop in terms of nearness to all activities on Panorama Route.
We enjoyed our stay. The reception team was friendly and helpful. The cleaning lady (Katrine) was also friendly.
We were blessed and had a great time.
Very quiet, comfortable, clean. Staffs is very friendly. Although not very luxurious, the equipment is very complete. Some damp smell in the cabinet.
The place is centrally located to God's Window, very close to Graskop Gorge Lift and 45 minutes from Kruger National Park.
Neat, in place and friendly reception.
Except for the bathrooms which were not 100% clean after we arrived, we had a great time. The bathrooms were cleaned nicely after day 1.
My only challenge was that their bed was not comfortable. They need to change the base to the normal base, not a wood one.
Everything was in order. It was clean. The location and view perfection. I enjoyed.
Very good location and good facility, but I was disappointed that we could not visit the Graskop Gorge for free as per the lodge's website. Otherwise good.
Friendly welcome. Place neat and clean. Will stay there again
It is central to visit most of the areas.
If I can make a recommendation - see if network signal can't improve. None of the three providers offered good reception.
Mogodi Lodge itself is a very neat place. Nice and clean and comfortable. Safe with parking for vehicles at every unit. The only inconvenience is that Mogodi Lodge borders the Graskop Gorge Lift and they play loud music all day long when clients are bungee jumping. It disrupts the beautiful view and peace.
It was nice.
The place was better than what I expected.
We loved everything, seeing the gorge from our room and the waterfall breeze.
Location good, restaurant good!
Garith at the reception was very friendly and welcoming. He was also helpful in recommending exciting places to visit around the area. The restaurant staff within the lodge was also wonderful, and their food was just delish. The young guy by the name of Kyle was also very friendly, the service was top notch.
We had an enjoyable stay at Mogodi Lodge. Will definitely stay there again if we go back to Graskop in the future.
It was lovely .
We went for an outing and came back to a clean house with fresh towels.
Excellent location. Most of the attraction sites are minutes away.
Mogodi is very well located in Graskop. The Graskop Gorge Lift, Big Swing and zipline are within walking distance. The famous Harrys Pancakes is within driving distance, as well as all the famous attractions.
I like the restaurant on site. Mogodi Lodge is a hotel and also cottages that you can rent. It has a beautiful view of the Gorge Lift Co. We stayed in a two bedroom cottage. There are also 2 bathrooms (which we were looking for), unfortunately there was only one toilet, the reason why you are looking for two bathrooms. The toilet seat was broken and so was the living room light. We reported it and only the toilet seat was fixed. The place does not have WiFi - only in the hotel and restourant, not the cottages. We had a nice stay.
I would say very epic holiday destination to consider.
Value for money, clean and tidy.
The stay was good.
The lodge must improve by putting carports for cars. The hail damaged the car and it was a hired car.
Mogodi Lodge is a gem in Graskop. Magnificent view and right next to Graskop George Company for some activities. The unit was clean and well thought out. Well equipped with anything you may need, bathroom lovely with bath and shower option. I would recommend to anyone for a night or 2 stopover.
Very happy with our choice.
But my partner kept complaining to me why there's no microwave, and it was cold, or fridge or bath soap, she even asked why there are no condoms. The beds, which is something I've seen before are two small separate beds and since we wanted to sleep in one bed we just pulled them together and combined them, not like the ones on the pic. But after all the rooms are very clean and the guy at the reception is very nice and friendly.
TV turns itself on and off, no satellite reception, roof leaks in living room next to fireplace.
The place is very peaceful.
It was clean and tidy and there was everything we needed. The unit is cleaned daily and the view is beautiful. Graskop is nice and central to see everything in the area.
I payed R1200 per night, the heater on my room was not working. It is not good when you know that place is too cold. No Wi-Fi. Only 3 channels to watch on TV. R1200 is too much for that.
Very nice stay. Apart from the fact that I didn't have hot water to shower, everything was very nice and I had a good time.
Reason for value for money. The night before we stayed in Dullstroom at Stay@67 for R800, which is much better value for money, although it did not include breakfast. Reason for customer service. I reported on Saturday morning that the one light was not working and that the toilet was leaking. Nothing was done about it. The room was also not serviced on Saturday morning. The cups we used were not changed or washed and the trash that was full was not thrown out. The blanket and one curtain had cigarette burn holes/marks in them. A small bar fridge in the room would have been very welcome. The restaurant was very good though. The breakfast was very good and so was the service. The owners are very friendly.
Would recommend that they provide for a fan/aircon in the rooms.
No air conditioning or fan.
Perfect place when you want you want to be in touch with nature.
Was not happy with room 2 as we were two couples.
The breakfast was boring and bad, I will recommend that that division is improved. The eggs and the pork cheese griller everyday was horrible just ate because I paid.
Very good location, but the hotel rooms are not well appointed at all. No braai area, no fridge, no fan, poor TV and poor maintenance (shower head falls apart and bedside lamp is broken). Very good breakfast thanks to The Highlands Pub & Restaurant.
Breakfast was not nice, too oily, no microwaves in rooms.
Mogodi Lodge is conveniently situated nextdoor to the Graskop Lift Company and also very handily placed to explore the Panorama Route. The chalet we stayed in was clean and neat, but the decor is rather dated. Only one of the bedrooms had a panel heater in it and it would have been useful to have had one in the second bedroom too given how cold it was. There is however a well-functioning fireplace which helped to warm up the unit.
We were very well received, the staff are friendly and helpful. We were a bit disappointed that we didn't have a good view, but otherwise we had a very nice stay.
The rooms are clean and tidy but the beds are very uncomfortable, exceptionally when you are travelling with a partner or spouse. they have one geyser that accommodates many units which result in not getting hot water in the morning and afternoon.
We booked for 2 nights but left after 1. From the picture it looked idyllic but in reality there is no view from the room and it did not provide the peace and quiet we were looking forward to. During the day the noise from the crowds next door visiting the Big Swing was manic and at night the noise from the nearby shebeen made sleep impossible. The rooster starting at 2am did not help. The room is adequate in terms of bed, furnishings and cleanliness but the bathroom is disappointing. The shower needs a better rose, the wooden toilet seat is horrible, the towels small and threadbare. The wifi is only available in the reception area but connectivity is problematic and we could not use the card machine to pay as they could not connect to the bank. The tv in the room had only a few channels, non of which we watch. The breakfast served at the restaurant next door was basic but okay. I had scrambled egg with cheese and tomato. My husband had the full English. We decided to move on rather than spend the second night there and were very pleasantly surprised to be given a full refund for the night when we advised them of our bad night experience. Such a pity as I was really looking forward to exploring the sights around in the area but with all the driving we couldn't afford a second sleepless night.
No fan or aircon, no fridge. I can't come home carrying a fridge and microwave, is a struggle.
No fridge, no hand soap in the bathroom, limited kitchen utensils.
Furniture needs upgrading and maintenance done on unit. Gutter was broken at braai area, got completely wet due to this as water was everywhere. Unit was not spotless and outside area was dirty. TV was tiny and inadequate, cutlery (knives not sharp etc.).
I was not happy that there was no fridge, microwave , aircon, DStv, the bed was too small for two people sharing. For the money I paid there was no value for money.
Our stay was pleasant, the units were comfortable, well equipped and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for visiting the surrounding attractions. We will definitely stay there again.
The service is amazing. The place is nice and clean. And the location is perfect.
Great resort. Can recommend it.
Everything is just super nice.
After a whole day of excitement and activities, Mogodi Lodge was a comfortable place to rest and relax. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
Everything was excellent and I enjoyed my stay.
Only guests, but get a room with a tree in front blocking the view.
Great experience and the staff were great.
Thank you very much for the nice visit, will come again.
Very nice lodge, would recommend to anyone.
Our stay was a memorable one, it was also our first getaway as a couple so we enjoyed it. Our view was breathtaking. The only downside was the pool. It would be great if it could be painted or tiled, but over and above that we enjoyed ourselves.
What a surprise to experience the beautiful place, our stay was neat and tidy! Has everything you need and was lovely to just walk over the suspension bridge to the Great Swing. Would definitely recommend the place for a good night's sleep!
Beautiful, neat, spacious place with the most beautiful views and friendly people. Can definitely recommend it.
It was value for money and the lodge is at a very good location which allows easy access to nearby attractions. It has great onsite entertainment too as you literally walk over a bridge to get to the Graskop Gorge. We loved it! Its definitely a place I would recommend to anyone who wants to pay less for very good accommodation and excellent service.
Comfortable chalets, with everything you need. Very nice place!
It was so beautiful and such a peaceful place.
This was our second visit and as before we were surprised with the hospitable service in the restaurant. Many thanks for the manager! The parking lot needs a bit of renovation and that's all we could mention where improvement is needed. We recommend it 100%!
Excellent well maintained accommodation.
Enjoyed our time in nature.
The reception was very pleasant, friendly and very helpful guy who helped us. He is an asset to Mogodi. Will definitely stay there again when visiting Graskop. Mogodi's restaurant has excellent service and the food was very good (almost like mom sense). We enjoyed it terribly. Would highly recommend it.
The place we stayed in was clean every day. The pool is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. My car broke down and the staff referred me to someone who was very good and also offered to drive back and forth to the garage to drop off and collect the car.
We had a great stay at Mogodi Lodge. The Graskop Gorge next door is very special. It's just a shame the town has gone backwards.
I love the way they treat customers.
We had a very good stay and a great night.
Was impressed with the room. Very neat and clean.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and tidy. Very beautiful scenery close to the lodge.
Except for the house keeper not cleaning our room to our satisfaction and the bed irritating us with some noise even if you move a small muscle. We loved the place and next time we will bring our kids.
I was basically near all the places I wanted 2 see. The weather didn't play with but I had the best time ever.
Beautiful location, clean and well equipped accommodation. We will definitely go back.
Very good customer service.
See stars.
The room was clean and tidy and the complex safe. The location is convenient.
Can you do the gate access to the gorge with a tag reader to keep out unwelcome guests.
Mogodi Lodge is dramatically situated next to a high precipice. The service was excellent, but the room rather basic without air conditioning or a small fridge. The tub, in which one stands to shower, feels wobbly because it is made of fiberglass. The walls between units are thin and by no means soundproof so the people next to us were talking awake on a dewy morning. However, the drivers were friendly, well informed and immediately made us feel at home.
You can hear the waterfall from your room's window, which is very calming. Definitely recommended.
Have stayed there several times and always enjoy it.
We spend 4 days here. We were welcomed by very friendly staff. Our room was ready upon arrival. Our room was very spacious with a bath and shower. Kitchen appliances and cutlery with a fridge, stove and braai. Our room was cleaned daily. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because the electricity went off it was extremely dark. No one was available to tell us what is going on and I could see that the lights was on at the gorge suggesting to me that it's not load shedding. On the emergency numbers list it says that the person on duties number can be found on the reception door which was about 500 meters from our room in midnight in extreme dark. We woke up at 5 to find it still off. Still no one available at reception, so we decided to leave at 7 as we could not make coffee or breakfast or blow our hair. Also the back door was broken. Windows and doors does not have burglar bars and there is no fans or aircons available. So you can't sleep with the door or window open. Restaurant very pricey. Breakfast fresh and very delicious. Safe parking and amazing view from the gorge with free entrance if you stay at Mogodi and discount at the lift and cafe. Oh and there is no WiFi in the rooms and very poor phone signal.
Baie veilig, winkel, restaurant, kerk en naby Big Swing en Gorge Lift.
Great location service and hospitality.
We enjoyed it very much. Staff also extremely considerate, professional and friendly.
I enjoyed my stay, the place is beautiful and clean.
It was delicious. Thank you very much.
The unit was very small but very neat and beautiful. We could not use the restaurant - it was closed. The lodge itself looks very neat. Our unit was very last with the braai facing a wall - couldn't really see the nice view from the unit.
The bathroom is very cramped, with a toilet where your knees press against the edge of the bath. Otherwise quite acceptable.
The room not cleaned after first night. Bathroom smells like urine. Shower head broken, water sprays everywhere except where it should. Disappointing that there is now a fence between lodge and Gorge Lift, now have to drive around to use the new facilities. Otherwise location very good.
The place is average and the helpers/cleaners are very friendly. The rules were not mentioned before we booked ,telling us no music at all, but we are there to enjoy ourselves and relax and music is relaxation to other people. The manager is very sarcastic when talking to us. Above all, the place's only average problem is loadshedding, it's too much, because during the day we are not around we go sight seeing, but when coming back late it's off even every morning before 07:00 i'ts off.
Restful. Nice view. No WiFi and generally poor signal. Pool area needs work.
I booked a weekend at Mogodi lodge. All the pictures and collateral stated that there is a restaurant onsite and we booked the hotel which in my mind should be of hotel quality. We arrived for a 16th wedding anniversary and from face value it looked okay, the room was in good condition, there was a room service menu, a nice view and a fairly warm welcome. We went to the Graskop town and after spending some time in town decided to go back to the “hotel” room. This is where things went south. Tried to switch the main light on and nothing works, luckily there is a bed lamp. Waited for the room service time of 18:00 and you can phone that number until you are blue in the face. Had other travellers there that played their loud music till 4:30 on Saturday morning and you can’t get hold of anyone to complain to. Went on the internet and found the cause of this, they actually have the property up for sale so nothing is really being done there anymore. Saturday morning after spending our wedding anniversary eating biltong we bought on the way I went to the front desk, I told him I want to check out and gave him his rooms service pamphlet. I was told the the restaurant stopped working prior to lockdown. After a bit of an argument, the management agreed to pay back my second night.
The resturants close too early even in the festive season. The loaction does not have a dedicated braai area. The view is great, but there is not much to do there other than zipline or big swing. The Lodge itself has to improve on a lot of things amongst them is to provide a dedicated braai area, at least a vending machine for the midnight snacks and an automated access control for the main gate. We had to wait in the rain for the security that was sleeping to open for us. and they did not even check the access cards of anything.
The accommodation is very comfortable and has everything you need. For the warmer days, cooling may be recommended.
Very clean and spacious unit. One of best places I stayed.
Mooi plek, goed versorg en op 'n baie mooi plek geleë.
No what, will definitely go back again. Our self-catering room was very neat and nice and quiet up there with a nice view of the Gorge. You won't regret visiting their restaurant for dinner and breakfast either! The food is incredibly delicious and everything is freshly prepared. The hostess is very friendly!
Got a clean, tidy room. Went out to eat and the food was really good. No complaints about the beautiful place.
We were a group of friends doing the Fanie Botha walking route. After 5 days of walking we were dirty and tired and the lodge was really a great place to get clean and sleep over before driving back home. The rooms are small and basic, but spotlessly clean and there is a kettle with coffee and tea too. Definitely much more than I expected for the price. Bonus is that it is right across from the Gorge Lift for those interested (there is even a gate directly from the resort to the Gorge Lift). It's also close enough to the restaurants in town for dinner. Will definitely stay there again if I'm ever in Graskop again.
The chalets overlook the gorge itself, they are neat and clean (swimming pool included). We as a family had a wonderful time and will definitely return to this value for money destination!
Very cool and peaceful area. Quiet a few things to do, bungee jump, slide across the George, walk across the suspended bridge and of course the elevator down into such a beautiful forest. The forest hike was the best part, so much information to learn and calm and peaceful. Definitely worth the trip!
Neat place, people very friendly. Room service from restaurant a winner. Would recommend to anyone at any time.
Will definitely go back.
It is truly a beautiful place in a beautiful setting, right on the new glass elevator to the floor of the canyon.
We were so happy with the accommodation. The chalet was clean and serviced daily. The food at the restaurant is really nice and they even have room service at night. As we had misty weather the whole weekend, the staff recommended activities for us and places to go. We will definitely go there again.
Friendly reception. Lovely place to stay. We enjoyed delicious meals in the restaurant.
See stars.
Self-catering units are nice and spacious. Friendly staff.
Clean and tidy house with everything we needed. Ideal accommodation for exploring the Lowveld. Restaurant serves delicious dinner. Will stay there again for sure!
Mogodi Lodge was a very pleasant experience. Friendly service. Daily cleaning of the unit. Unit is very spacious and neat and just a stone's throw away from the river and waterfall. Great braai facilities and a lot of space for the kids to play.
Slept so well and enjoyed good food in a restaurant! Staff very helpful and nice and speak Afrikaans!
Die mense by die lodge is vriendelik en die kamers skoon. Die plek is baie bekostigbaar en goeie waarde vir geld.
Mogodi Lodge is friendly, clean, neat and situated in a beautiful area.
Recommend for anyone. Enjoyed it there. Clean and tidy. Restful. And the restaurant is a must go. Foods and service in unbelievable. I will definitely go back.
Everything was just as one would've liked it to be, just a pity we got rained out. Will we come again? Definitely and only Mogodi!
Our first visit to Graskop, accommodation excellent, neat and friendly. The restaurant was top quality with delicious food and friendly company and service. Will highly recommend Mogodi Lodge.
Ons het baie lekker ontspan. Die plek is skoon en netjies. Naby meeste trekpleisters. Sal teruggaan.
We had a very nice stay. Rooms are neat and clean. All of the staff members were friendly. The lady who manages the restaurant was very friendly and helpful and knows the area very well. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The location of the lodge is excellent, it was perfect for the things that we wanted to see and do. Will stay there again anytime and recommend the lodge to anyone.
Nice accommodation, neat and clean.
Reception staff very helpful. Room can definitely do with, at minimum, a fan. The restaurant's food is excellent and good value for money. The location is excellent.
It was perfect, the place was better than I had expected.
We were very kindly received. Excellent location. The lodge is close to town and the glass elevator. Also convenient to drive to the Potholes and 3 Rondawels.
Mogodi Lodge is definitely worth the money, very nice place and also very clean, just a pity it was cold, foggy and rainy. Would not recommend going during the winter because you will be able to see or do absolutely nothing, but in general everything was great, the restaurant's food is top class.
Had a great time. Very beautiful area to walk around in. Bedrooms and the other rooms are very spacious. It has everything you need.
Stayed for 3 nights. The place is clean, well maintained, friendly staff and the restaurant's food was great.
Perfect location to make base of Panorama Route or Kruger.
Rooms are basic but very well appointed. Rooms were pretty clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Premises is located in a very nice place. Security is good. We rode motorcycles and had the peace of mind to park it in the open parking. Will definitely stay there again.
Very nice, neat and clean. Would definitely recommend the restaurant.
Overall great place. Just a few things that they should have a look at. Bathroom facilities/showers/toilets not working properly. Room service takes like hours.
Suggest that hotel rooms can at least put in a fridge and also put in a ceiling fan.
Mogodi Lodge is a very nice and tidy lodge, very centrally located close to all the activities in the area. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and tidy and we really enjoyed it. Luckily it wasn't hot so it wasn't a problem for us that there was no air conditioning or fans in the rooms. The one bedroom chalet had a TV with some DStv channels. There is a shower and bath in the bathroom and then also a fully equipped kitchen with a four plate stove and a nice big fridge with a freezer. There is a veranda overlooking the Graskop Gorge Lift and so is a braai. Have to say the day we checked in, the room and bedding smelled bad, probably because it had been left there for a long time. There is a garden set for the porch, but it is only the table and one chair, could do with another chair. Overall we can't complain, was nice for us and met our needs.
See stars.
Although it is a 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms, only 1 bathroom is equipped with a toilet and shower which was problematic.
Good, affordable accommodation. Neat and clean. Fully equipped.
A great destination for outdoor adventures and a peace of mind away from the city.
The accommodation is well equipped, the gardens are neat, the views are beautiful, the people are friendly, the restaurant's food is fantastic and the hostess is excellent.
Spacious, neat accommodation. Very good location.

The facilities were all there and worked well. Costs were higher than other similar accommodation booked elsewhere.
The owners needs to paint their pool so that it's more attractive, we wanted to go for swim, but the pool was not looking good.
Redeljk groot hotel en B&B-complex, goed versorg.
We had a very nice stay. The chalets are nice and spacious and well designed and are also well maintained. The only criticism is that there are not many sound dampeners between the switching houses and you hear every conversation and dragging of chairs from your neighbors.
We have been to Mogodi before. Enjoyed the time very much.
Accommodation was clean and tidy.
Ek is nie seker of die hoofhek snags gesluit word nie en dit is 'n bekommernis.
Beautiful and peaceful around Ashwomer.
Centrally located with everything you need. Attention to detail will make this place even better.
Good location. Everything from Graskop is within walking distance.
We were received by a person who walks barefoot in 2019. Lovely location, great food and friendly lady in restaurant and a spacious apartment.
We planned a getaway weekend and Mogodi Lodge met our requirements with beautiful scenery around and the peaceful atmosphere.
No bathroom cabinet for unpacking e.g. razor, toothbrush, etc. Beautiful dressing table, but no wall plug nearby.
Hotelería buena ,restaurante regular a malo.Deben mejorar la calefacción.Recepcion ausente ala noche
We were so looking forward to our weekend with friends as it was our wedding anniversary. We specifically chose Mogodi Lodge because there is a lounge with a fireplace. The garden, lawns and premises are very neat. The chalet needs a lot of attention and therefore the 'home feeling' was missing.
We had a very nice stay. Place is ideally located to explore Graskop. The view is beautiful! The cottage was very comfortable and adequate and they comfortably accommodated the 5 of us in a 4-bed space. Only criticism is that the blinds in the bathrooms were broken and did not close completely which affected our privacy as the bathroom windows were plain glass.
Rooms clean and hot shower was lovely. Great food at the restaurant.
We have been here several times and had a great experience every time. The towels are a bit weathered and need attention. I would recommend it.
THEY DO NOT ALLOW ANY MUSIC AND THE PEOPLE RUNNING THE PLACE ARE UNFRIENDLY CAN NOT TELL YOU AS A CUSTOMER IN A FRIENDLY MANNER NO MUSIC JUST BOMBASTIC NO MUSIC NOT EVEN A CELL PHONE MUSIC VERY RUDE
Good location, nice restaurant, but bedding needs attention.
Was very nice to stay there, close to everything.
Provided with the basics, but unit may need some upgrading. Floor tiles were broken in places, fridge noisy and overall old feeling.
Service delivery is poor, their swimming pool was very very dirty, , some services like braai area are limited for specific guest, no braai area around,, like in the park areas, there was no dinner as promised, no kitchen services . or facilities. I don't want to talk that much, but I was unable to sleep, I left the place the following day instead of spending few days
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mogodi. The staff is very professional and helpful. Unit was neat and comfortable with a beautiful view over the Graskop gorge. Will definitely return again.
Definitely worth the effort and money.
You might just look at installing roof fans in the unit in the future and also frosting on the bathroom window where the shower is. Furthermore, it is worth it.
Enjoyed our stay and staff very friendly. Will be back again.
I love the place and would love to come back with my family.
It was great and great view with privacy.
My stay with my fiance was very good. The lodge has the perfect location, close to local stores and a short drive to tourist attractions. The view of the Graskop Gorge was breathtaking. But what made our stay extra special was the excellent service we got from the staff at Mogodi Lodge. Especially Ingrid and Delinka - they so sweet. The food was to die for. I will be going back without a doubt. Thank you so much to the Mogodi Staff.
The best vacation ever, I would love to go back this time with my friends as well, definitely value for your money, beautiful place.
Would definitely go again. Value for money. Excellent and friendly service.
The accommodation is very neat. The whole resort is very neat and you can see they put a lot of effort into maintaining the place. It was very affordable for me, even though my daughter and I only slept in the backpackers room, the place was very neat and big enough for the 2 of us. I was very happy with our visit to you. Thank you.
Mogodi is a fantastic place to stay and exceeded expectations, the restaurant on site is also top quality with good food.
Lovely place, ideally located to visit the sights on both sides of Graskop. Would definitely recommend.
The place is awesome and the views are to die for! Had such a fabulous time visiting all those fantastic interest points. I already miss the food, especially the grill. Will most definitely visit again in summer.
The chalet was very neat and well equipped. Quite luxurious. Area was beautiful. We had a great stay.
It was a pleasant experience, neat rooms, friendly service and a fantastic breakfast menu to choose from.
The loud music in the evenings is just unpleasant and a braai area for the backpackers unit would have been nice.
Als was clean and tidy. It was very cold the day of arrival, but the accommodation had a nice fireplace with a built-in braai. Just a pity there is no place in Graskop that sells fireplace wood so bring it with you. Other than that, everything was very nice. Stayed in two bedroom chalet. Would recommend and will book there again.
We stayed here for 3 nights to explore the area. Central location. The accommodation was convenient and clean.
Their service was affordable, safe and friendly! It was a home away from home.
We were told during check-in that breakfast was included for 3 of the 6 of us and the others would have to pay, which was no problem. The next morning the lady at the restaurant was not very pleased after we asked her about this and made a totally unsolicited comment to one of our people which made us get up and walk out and eat elsewhere. The resort itself was fantastic.
Location is lovely, because you can drive out every day. Very friendly service with really clean rooms. Maybe just a small fridge in the room.
Nice accommodation and very clean and neat. The owner was very helpful, despite of the fact that our accommodation wasn't confirmed in time. They immediately had a clean and equipped room for us. The breakfast was delicious and we will be back.
Very clean, quiet. The restaurant is tops with its home made meals. Friendly.
Wonderfully located. Particularly clean. Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff.
I think they should include fridges and braai area in their backpackers. Other rooms that don't have fridges and braai area, but I am happy with everything else and we are planning to go back again.
On arrival we were welcomed, the place's layout was given, meal times were given, if there was anything we could help with. The place gives us value for money.
Very nice peaceful atmosphere. The houses are very neat and equipped with the basic necessities. Not once did we feel like we were missing something. What can only be said on the website is that there is no oven in the cottages. But a fire is just as good as an oven if you want to bake bread.
Enjoyed our stay. Staff members are friendly. The place is clean. Loved it.
Will recommend to everyone. Immaculately clean and peaceful. Thank you very much.
It has an amazing view. I actually enjoyed walking down to breakfast. Amazing places, friendly people. I'd definitely be staying there again soon.
The food in the restaurant is delicious - dinner and breakfast.
Very pleasant reception. Nice restuarant. So close to the Blyde Valley's jump-off point. Breathtaking. Cottage very comfortable.
Mogodi Lodge is centrally locates and just across the gorge from the new Graskop lift company. The on site big swing is a definite bonus. I loved the friendly staff at the restaurant.
Stayed 4 nights very neat clean chalets. Friendly staff. The chalets are cleaned every day, a pleasure to walk into. Only the double bed mattress in Chalet 5 is very close to retirement age. But I would definitely recommend Mogodi Lodge. Thank you very much for a lovely long weekend there.
The backpacker's room gives value for money and has everything you need. I would suggest burglar bars in order for one to be able to leave the windows open during the day when you're not there. I stayed in nr 19. Water leaked out of the ceiling at the light in the bathroom. We reported this when we left.
Great stay, nice and close to many things to see! Only around the corner from the Kruger National Park could one comfortably travel there for a day trip. Very helpful and friendly staff!
Pretty, clean, neat place. Close to the town. A big advantage is the big swing on the same premises. A lot of other attraction close by. Relaly enjoyed it.
We had a wonderful evening.
Best venue with an amazing view, easy to navigate, the service is fast and efficient, friendly staff and can connect to the owners as well, Mogodi Lodge is the place to be for a holiday.
Central. Delicious breakfast.
Beautiful, convenient and private. Will book again.
The units themselves are beautifully laid out but need upgrading within the unit. For an overnight stay it is perfect, but for guests who want to stay longer with children, a warm water pool and game room for children will be very welcome. Water saving for shower and toilets. It wastes a lot of water.
My partner and I stayed from 9 - 11 March 2018 at the Mogodi lodge. It was the best weekend ever! Best service ever! The staff are very welcoming. Breakfast and dinner was just amazing! Thank you ladies.
Service at Mogodi was very excellent. I have enjoyed stating there, peace of mind.
After spending a whole day driving around in Kruger Park, it was a pleasure to return to your room. I love a bath while my wife enjoyed the shower.
Sensible accommodation as a springboard for the environment. Amenities excellent. Service with inquiries professionally.
Besides the rude and abrupt reception we received when checking in, we still enjoyed our stay. Loved the views once the mist cleared up. We will definitely return, hopefully to have clearer weather next time. So much we didn't get to see because of the weather.
See stars.
The place is situated where everything is in reach, the staff members are friendly. Recommendation to the hotel is if they can provide us with two pin plugs to be able to charge phones, iron and bar fridge to can have water cause there was no provision of water to drink, we had to drink water from the bathroom tap or buy bottled water. The heaters are not hot enough to warm the room, at least air conditioners will be able to warm the room as it is very cold during the night.
Dinner was delicious but no option for a light breakfast.
Staff were very helpful, nice and friendly. We had a very nice stay.
We were able to move in and out without security stopping us. Our vehicles didn't have stickers either. No one came after we checked in to check if everything was ok, but everyone was very friendly.

Great location close to many attractions in the area. The big swing/bungee jump is also on the premises. They didn't have our reservation on arrival which meant that they weren't expecting us and had us checking in only on the following day which was strange - but eventually rectified. Chalet was comfortable, clean and serviced daily. Surrounding area is breathtaking. 2 Bed chalet has 2 bathrooms but 1 toilet which was rather weird as everyone had to share 1 toilet. Will return.
Will visit you again, value for money, thank you very much.
The 3 nights and 2 days were very pleasant here. Even though the facilities are minimal in backpackers, a bar fridge would come in handy (if you stay for more than one night). While it was cloudy, rainy and cold, Mogodi was a nice home. These chalets are lovely accommodation. Good restaurant. Wonderful area.
If you are close to all the attractions between Graskop, Sabie, Hazyview etc. want to be and don't want to pay an arm and a leg for accommodation, Mogodi Lodge is for you. We stayed in the two bedroom self catering cottages and they were very spacious and comfortable, with a fireplace in the lounge. The wall heater in the master bedroom is not very effective, but at least helped. Nice view of the gorge. All the staff, from reception to the cleaning staff, were very friendly and helpful. I can recommend Mogodi Lodge for sure.

It was our second time at Mogodi Lodge, will come back again. Lodge is in a beautiful location, reception is friendly and helpful, room was clean and tidy.
I enjoyed it very much.
Staff were very friendly, and helpful. Had a great time there. Will definitely go again.
Very neat and convenient accommodation. Within reach of the most beautiful scenery. We had everything we needed, even a braai was available and it was sufficient.
We use to camp but because of limited time we needed a room/chalet this time around. Mogodi was most affordable, so we expected a small rondavel like overnight but what a surprise!
Not enough to do for small children at the lodge except swimming.
The chalet units are neat, clean, comfortable and well furnished. The on-site restaurant provides a nice option, but there are also many other options as you are a stone's throw from the rest of Graskop. The road is visible but does not bother. Interesting view of the Gorge Lift (which is a must visit) and the bungee jump is on site.
The stay was good. We stayed in a hotel room and would have like to have a small fridge in the room, other than that there were no problems. Will definitely stay at the Lodge again.
The chalets are well furnished and tidy. It is cleaned daily and even the braai and fireplace are cleaned every day. The restaurant's food is delicious and it is convenient that it can also be ordered to bring to the chalet.
We only stayed in the backpackers unit and were very surprised and happy we got such a nice unit for the price. Only thing that turned us off that would make me rethink of returning is there was loud music playing till late at night and guests returning to room next door at 1am that made a noise.
Rooms very neat and clean and beds sleep well. Breakfast could provide a little more variety but is good.
Good service, friendly staff, nice breakfast and safe.
There is no hanging space for dishcloths and towels. The small towel rail in the bathroom is too small. The toilet leaks. Someone needs to empty the toilet balls regularly. Please provide a pot sander.
We as a family really enjoyed it at Mogodi Lodge. Wonderful views from the chalets and the restaurant's food was also delicious. We will definitely go again.
Very nice to stay for tourism in and around Graskop. Recommended.
More variety in breakfast menu.
There was a lot of noise on Friday from a "neem aan shebeen" shouting and loud music, Saturday night was a bit softer music. But it's probably not something Lodge can help with.
We had a very nice stay. The room had everything we needed and the breakfast was delicious. Very nicely centrally located.
The room is neat and clean with a single bunk bed. Perfect for single travellers and backpackers.
Very nice stay and will definitely go again.
Mogodi Lodge was clean, neat and spacious. After a day of sore feet, it was great to sit in front of the fireplace. The only suggestion for unit 4 is hooks for the kitchen and bathrooms for towels and wash cloths.
Dit was 'n wonderlike ondervinding, skoon, netjies en vriendelike personeel. Die kos by die restaurant is heerlik.
Mogodi Lodge is nicely situated with beautiful surroundings. The chalet was neat but really only had the bare minimum as far as kitchen utensil etc were concerned. It would have been nice if there was a little bit more for the kids to do and possibly even a games room as there is literally nothing to do when the weather is acting up. Other than that we had a great time.
Love nature. Great outdoors.
Mogodi Lodge has a central location and it's an affordable overnight spot for anyone who wants to explore Mpumalanga's attractions. The rooms are clean and are equipped with the necessary. We missed braai facilities, that that would be a nice addition.
Excellent venue close to all amenities. Would recommend though that they have WiFi at the price they charge per evening.
It's not safe either, anyone can drive in there.
Well located, just need new reception staff or training on the reception staff members, they were very unprofessional, showing lack on interest or welcoming behaviour, smoking at reception, etc.
We enjoyed our stay, but it would have been better if there was an aircon that we could use as it gets quite hot there during summer. It's really a great location as all the attractions aren't far from it and having the Big Swing right on the premises makes it worthwhile. Restaurant and bar could do with an upgrade, food was definitely delicious.
Though a safe to store valuables and perhaps a firearm is available in the chalet, however this was not functional. This causes an inconvenience to cart valuables around continuously. Fans or air-conditioners are not available for comfort when temperatures are high. In our case, raining for 3 days, the resort does not offer any activities for kids such as a games room or any other entertainment. Laundry not available.
The neighbours made noise until late at night and the early morning. Took is up with management and it was sorted. Further we had a relaxing weekend. The restaurant's food was amazing, but a bit pricey. Had to drive to town for milk and basic necessities. The shop is more of a souvenir shop. Will however recommend it for weekend accommodation.
Not bad. Clean as mentioned but interaction with guests are basic.
The place is comfortable, but the rooms lack finishing touches. There was also no rooibos tea in the room and that's all we drink so it was a problem for us.
The place as a whole is very beautiful but room 22 - 24 is for children sharing not for an adult on business. Small towels were given and the colour of the linen is just not attractive. We were on business but there was no space or a desk to work from.
The view is disappointing. Other accommodations near here have a better view and cost less (better value for money).
Some hotel guests were fighting like that and security didn't even intervene. This continued until about 00:00 at night.
Manager is terribly unfriendly.
Shower not comfortable and bathtub broken. However, restaurant service and food were great.
We had a great stay at Mogodi Lodge and were pleasantly surprised with the place. The next morning we went to do the Big Swing which is right at the entrance to a beautiful gorge with a waterfall and forest at the bottom. Across the gorge there is a center with a restaurant and a lift that lowers you into the forest where you can walk around on wooden bridges and steps and witness the beautiful nature. Will definitely stay there again.
Plekkie is fully equipped, neat and comfortable. Value for money and would definitely recommend.
The people are extremely hospitable and immediately made us feel at home. It was lovely! Please note, lunch cannot be eaten at the restaurant. They are only open for breakfast and dinner.
It was good staying at your chalets. Looking forward to stay there again. The chalets were well organized and the hygiene was good.
One of the best.
Thank you for a lovely stay. Our units were beautifully clean and well maintained.
Neat, clean and very beautiful.
Mogodi Lodge was clean and tidy although the bunker beds made us slightly seasick. The structure of the cots was not sturdy. The staff are friendly and helpful and we received our room keys before check-in time. The location was ideal because it is on the way to Hazyview and we slept there on the way to Kruger. There was also no problem that we wanted to drive earlier than they opened the gates. A night watch helped us very well. The place is definitely value for money!
Really enjoyed the stay. Clean and neat. Enjoyed a meal in the local restaurant on the premises. Thanks so much.
Thanks so much Mogodi Lodge for your friendly service. I'd recommend this place anytime. It is breathtakingly beautiful by you folks. We had a great time and the food was delicious. Neat accommodation. Devine food. Hope to see you soon. Thanks again!
We toured Mpumalanga with friends on our bikes and the accommodation was such a surprise, clean and neat. We ordered dinner and they delivered it, delicious food, prepared with love, affordable Will definitley book again.
Everything was clean and neat.
The best overnight stay. The chalets are stunning and perfect and the beds slept very well.
Friendliness, cleanliness and peaceful atmosphere.
Breathtaking water falls and view of the Canyon. A lot of tourist sights close to all the beautiful water falls and scenery. Would recommend the lodge to anyone who loves nature and hiking.
Got there at 19:15 on January 27 and Delinka prepared delicious dinner. Beautiful chalet and slept well. Was so peaceful and stunning. We had a great time and the breakfast on the 29th was also delicious. We will definitely be back. Thanks Delinka and staff.
We had a peaceful time, no noise or anything whatsoever.
Very neat and clean, friendly service.
The place was amazing. It had all the basic necessities.
Well equipped, tidy.
Recommended by friends. Left money in unit and cleaner just left it out. Great location!
What a neat, clean and relaxing place. The room was neat, clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back. Any one or family have to visit Mogodi Lodge. Thank you for the friendly reception.
Very neat, safe and well located chalets. It's right by the Big Swing and with the new walking spots opposite the Gorge it's an ideal location. Staff are incredibly friendly, and go out of their way to help you.
Friendly and helpful. Good food is served at the restaurant.
The basic needs for persons who tour are met. Area is well located but unfortunately not much of a view of the famous gorge. It was a bit chilly at the weekend and heaters in the room were out of order and damaged. Couldn't relay to management though as they open quite late and we left early. Area is well located, but gates are open all the time which leaves security in a slightly negative light - no access control. Traffic makes access difficult as the "Big Swing" borders the site and participants use the site for parking.
Although it offers value for money and we really enjoyed the stay, there were a few things that need attention. Curtains are worn out and they're hanging skew since their brackets were missing.
Will visit them soon. Excellent venue.
Lots of space, well equipped, nice stay.
Staff very friendly. Unit is spacious enough. Rooms were tidy. Kitchen had all the necessities and the unit was serviced daily. Two bathrooms, but one toilet which can become problematic, but it depends on who the guest is. Unit 6 could do with better lounge chairs, the current ones seem to come out of a doctor's consulting room, and, what with such a cosy fireplace one wants to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere. There's no dining room either. But apart from the 2 possible improvements, I would recommend the place and stay there again. They are currently working on the lookout point to the waterfall, so we could not use it.
Excellent value for money. Great location to visit surrounding attractions close to Graskop.
Very nice and neat. Just needed a dishcloth in the room.
1. Relaxing 2. Fun 3. Beautiful 4. Warm 5. Hospitable 6. Welcoming
Very neat and tidy, beautiful view and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay.
Everything was neat and clean and the people were very very friendly. I will go again.
The lodge is basically the only place in town that impressed me. Definitely the most beautiful place in Graskop.
We stayed in a small hotel style room which was clean, tidy, and equipped with all the basic amenities. The lodge is is situated at the bottom of the village near the waterfall - an excellent location - it is near the town but it feels like you are far outside. The only negative was that the walls are paper thin and sound easily carries from other rooms to yours. Breakfast was included and was a bonus which made the noise thing manageable. Thank you for a good value option.
Pleasant. Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious food, neat rooms.
The surroundings are beautiful, we had a very good breakfast. Especially the staff was very friendly! The room was a bit outdated, for example the kitchen and the bathroom.
Very neat and clean. Incredible view. Would definitely recommend it.
Very central to all the attractions in the area. Will stay there again.
I would prefer a larger grill where you can screw in a folding grill.
The location is perfect as well as the chalet, just did not get clean towels.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and neat.
Our chalet was neat, clean and a very peaceful place to spend the night and relax. Amenities in the chalet were up to standard.
We stayed over on a Friday night so we could run the Graskop Marathon on the Saturday morning early. Distance to town is close - 1 km. The accommodation is nice - chalets are large, but the shower could do with a good scrub. The reception/welcome was not great - they need to spruce that up definitely. It was OK, not great , just ok. It served the purpose, but would not go back.
We had a great time. Maybe it was more expensive because it was long weekend. Located in an area that doesn't feel very safe and the walk to the village to get some fresh air was a bit tense. Loud music was heard from the surrounding area the entire weekend, it disturbed us and you struggle to fall asleep until 02:00 in the morning when the music finally stops.
Very hard to see place sign in the evening, no lighting, overshadowed by some advertising for swing? Does not help to give the indication as on the way to Kowynspass, because it is not indicated.
The pool was dirty but I was told it's grey at the bottom hence the grey reflection (rolls eyes) - First time I have heard of such a thing! Then the excuse was the power was out hence it couldn't be cleaned. Ingrid the manager was not friendly or receptive. The bed was squeaky and uncomfortable. Thirdly you could actually hear your neighbours taking a bath next door through the thin walls.
Not at all satisfied with the resort and wouldn't recommend it.
The chalet we stayed in was very well laid out, clean and tidy. This is the first place we come to that supplies you with coffee and sugar and toilet paper. We will stay at Mogodi Lodge again. Staff was very hospitable.
I wouldn't mind to rebook for a future tour and already recommended Mogodi Lodge to friends and relatives, my colleagues will obviously be told as I will be going back to work next Monday.
I so much loved staying at Mogodi Lodge. It was my first visit and my first trip to book in such a wonderful place. I had a wonderful time. I even wished to stay longer. I am going to look for further references to other resorts around Durban for my next trip. #epictravelground.
Beautiful resort, will recommend it to anybody.
We hired a modern 2 bedroom unit, with a beautiful view. close to all restaurants and attractions in the area.
Will go back and next time I will take my whole family along.
Puik diens en almal baie hulpvaardig gewees. Sal ons verseker weer sien.
After reading the other reviews I was skeptical, but upon arrival we were warmly welcomed. The place was clean and tidy and we had lovely hot water in the evenings. The location is good and just outside the town. It was quiet in the evenings and we slept peacefully. I would definitely stay there again for a weekend. However, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner at different places every day and didn't get a chance to eat at Mogodi itself.
Had a wonderful stay. It's quiet and close to everything. Quiet, safe and in a beautiful setting with an excellent restaurant.
Beautifully clean and tidy, lovely shower, cleaned daily, and an excellent location.
We couldn't ask for better. We were in the self-catering unit. It is cleaned every day, clean towels, and braai facilities are cleaned every day. Location of Mogodi Lodge is excellent. Within an hour either way, people can get from Kruger to Pilgrims. Staff very helpful with the necessary maps, and their shop provides the necessary (except ice, which you can get at the nearest gas station). Peaceful atmosphere, even over New Years.
The best base to visit all the magical places.
The chalets were very spacious and clean with everything you would need. The chalet had a beautiful view. The only thing that was not up to standard was the pool that looked like a mud pool. My kids were so disappointed on the days that the sky cleared.
Mogodi Lodge is affordable, neat and clean. Absolutely value for money.
Will be back again
Facilities were very good and it was nice to relax in the pool after a hot day. The pool looks grey, but is sparkling clean. The location and view for a visit to the Lowveld is the best.
Will definitely, if we visit Graskop again, stay at Mogodi Lodge. Staff were very friendly and the accommodation very tidy. Wish we could have stayed there for another night. Really enjoyed the stay, especially the fireplace and the misty view.

Mogodi Lodge is very well located, just out of town yet so close. The chalets are also very spacious and there is a lot of space between the different chalets with nice lawns for the children to play on. The only problem I encountered is that the kitchen is not very well equipped with crockery and necessities. There are not certain basic kitchen necessities such as a bread plate or meat tray. I would also suggest that they upgrade their interior decoration a bit because it is already a bit old - but mind you it is clean and tidy. The chalets are also serviced every day which was very convenient and the fireplace in the chalet was very welcome. The little shop sells a crate of firewood for R20 which is not expensive at all. The grill outside is also cleaned every day and I can honestly say it's the first place I've ever come across that has a grill too! I will definitely stay at Mogodi Lodge again!
No negative comments, just missed an ice tray in the freezer and would have liked to find the fridge already switched on on arrival.
We really enjoyed our stay. We were happy with the lodge itself.
It was very pleasant and I was able to move my room. Friendly people and the rooms were big.
We stayed in a backpackers room. Unfortunately there is no kitchen, but bed linen and towels with own bathroom. We took a small camping box and gas stove and together with the braai we had a nice meal. Definitely worth it!
Could just walk in and everything needed for traveler is provided.
The accommodation is really pretty and comfortable. The self-catering unit is well equipped (almost felt like home). The headboard was a little dusty, but otherwise it was nice and clean. The location is ideal for exploring the Panorama Route. Will definitely be back.
The unit was very clean and we appreciated that they also came to clean every day. It is convenient enough to spend a few days there.
According to website there is putt putt, but we didn't see anything there.
Quiet, neat units. Slept well and really enjoyed it!
We were happy and if we go to Mpumalanga again, we will go back there.
Very satisfied overall. I would have liked a fridge in the room though and a wider variety of TV channels.
The room is comfortable, the furniture is of good quality and well chosen. Tranquil and pretty view of the cliff. Will definitely stay there again if we're ever in the area. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant on the premises.
We had a good stay at Mogodi Lodge. Will definitely recommend it.
The place is clean and the service is great.
A good, nice place with excellent food during stay.
The rooms were OK, but quite noisy. The restaurent was freezing cold and the service extraordinarily slow (more than one and a half hour for the main course). The reason they gave was the arrival of a group of people (not many).
Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and all facilities were well kept.
We enjoyed it very much. Would just like a double bed instead of 2 singles but no problem. It was still enjoyable. Thank you!
Mogodi Lodge was a home away from home. Very safe and holiday friendly.
Very friendly, fantastic food, the bobotie and bread pudding was delicious. But the service in the restaurant isn't great. On the first evening I had to find someone behind the bar to show me to a table and on the second evening I gave up and went back to my chalet. It's such a simple problem to solve, if they can do this the lodge would be excellent.
Unit is nice and big. Everything was neat and clean. We did not like that anyone could come into the resort. There was no security.
I will certainly recommend it to family and friends.
On arrival the room was not ready even though we arrived on time. The room is only provided with the essentials and is not at all up to standard considering the price being asked. Mogodi lodge is located just outside Graskop right next to the main road to Hazyview and is very noisy and unsafe. It is not located in a safe area and the security is poor. The photos on the website give a much better impression than the actual situation. We will definitely not use the accommodation again.
Cold water ─ I had to call and tell them that there was no water. They then told me that the geyser was switched off and was only switched on at 21:30! The food was terrible. They won't see me again.
Mogodi lodge is a great place, it was nice quiet and safe.
Mogodi is perfectly located between all the tourist attractions. The lodge provided excellent service and we are very satisfied.
We would stay there again anytime. "The Big Swing", which is on site, is a MUST!
Would recommend any day. Clean, tidy and nicely located. Especially for tourists. Beautiful sights.
Very nice relaxing weekend!
There are hospitable staff and delicious breakfast!
We booked a place on the internet at very short notice. Feedback was almost immediate. The staff is professional and pleasant. We were very kindly received upon arrival. Was pleasantly surprised by the unit where we stayed. We had breakfast there, the lady who was in the restaurant in the morning made us feel so at home and we had a lovely chat with her. We left there satisfied. Will definitely book there again.
Highly recommend. Will use them again.
The accommodation facilities and service are value for money.
I would recommend it.
It was very nice and the staff was very friendly. The weather also cooperated and we really enjoyed it.
We enjoyed two days at Mogodi Lodge, which is situated on a scenic location in Graskop. The chalets are spacious and comfortable, but not very romantic, rather basic and modern. Friendly staff and nice restaurant on the premises.
Friendly reception. Accommodation was very clean and tidy.
It's our fourth visit to Mogodi Lodge. We have always had a good time. Linens and decor could use some attention.
I was slightly disappointed that we didn't have a valley view (that was our expectation) but after seeing the unit it wasn't a problem. It was a very nice unit, beautiful furniture, immaculately clean and definitely worth the money. They came to clean the room on Saturday I was very surprised as it was not mentioned in the booking. We will definitely go there again! It was fantastic!
Friendly reception and accommodate group's requests. Delicious restaurant for meals throughout the day and breakfast available. Fantastic view while in restaurant.
Beautiful place and lovely people and would recommend the place to other people.
Friendly Service and a beautiful place to stay!
Neat and cheap accommodation for tourists.
See the stars.
The chalets were clean and neat. We had a great view from our chalet and it is worth it. The owners need to change the living room couches as they are old, worn out and uncomfortable to sit on, but the braai area and swimming pool was clean. Mogodi Lodge is very near to most tourist attractions, walking distance to their town and a petrol station. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely recommend it to other people.
Very nice, thank you very much! Beautiful location.
Please see the stars.
The rooms were very neat and the staff were very friendly, but we had a problem with hot water every morning. We had to boil the water before we could bath. Besides that everything was perfect.
The setting of Mogodi Lodge is great .The accommodation was very comfortable and the service in the restaurant was very friendly.
We stayed very comfortably. There is enough room for everyone in the chalet. The staff is friendly. The restaurant's food is of high quality. The lodge can only pay more attention to cleanliness in the chalet. There was hair on the pillows, toothpaste on the faucet, the microwave was dirty inside with something that had boiled over from the previous guests, the forks were just placed in the drawer with food on them, without being washed. I am sure the management is not aware of this. Furthermore, I would recommend anyone to visit the lodge and would go there again myself!
We were hardly ever there but we liked it and would stay there again.
Enjoy a wonderful, peaceful weekend there. The room was very clean and tidy, but I still had a concern about the safety. A safety gate in front of the sliding door will make it possible to open the door for ventilation even at night. It would be very useful to have at least a fan and a small fridge in the room. Apart from this we had a great time and we will definitely go back there again.
Restaurant meals were delicious, prices reasonable and service brisk.
Beautiful view and quiet, we had a great stay!
I wasn't impressed at all with the place. The chairs in the lounge are old and not comfortable. The appliances are very old. The floors were not so clean. The shower was dirty!
The place could do with some upgrading. The small TV is not up to standard. More attention can also be given to cleaning the kitchen. The drawers, knives and forks were not properly clean. Our stove's switch didn't work and the stove had to be put down against the wall every time. It seems to me that the interview lacks attention. The pine boards sold for the fireplace are not acceptable. At least sell proper wood.
See the stars.
It is an awesome place to visit. We had fun at the big swing and the slide.
I don’t have anything good to say about this place. Even just rating 1 star is still an OVERRATING! I emailed the management during my stay about the following: - The blankets and pillows were filthy and very smelly. - The shower curtain looked like it had not been washed in ages with lots of mold. - There were spider webs in most corners. - The kettle needed serious attention inside, no one in their right mind would drink from it. We did not expect luxury, we just wanted a clean unit. However, the manager said he could not see any problems in the rooms and that everything was satisfactory and that clean sheets were put on before every new arrival. But if there were no problems found, why was the shower curtain washed? Why was the kettle in room changed? The sheets might have been clean, but we were not questioning fresh bedding. Putting on a clean pillow case on a dirty/smelly pillow will not override the fact that the pillow itself is dirty. The staff were told to give special attention to our room, but on our last day we came back to a very smelly room. The room was wiped with a dirty mop. The carpet between the 2 beds was wet and very smelly and because we could not sleep under such conditions, we had to take it outside. And furthermore there were still cobwebs in the room. To top it all, we did not have a remote in Room 14 and when we asked for it, we were advised that they did not have, because it was stolen by other patrons. We also did not have SABC 3 as one of the applicable channels and we were advised that: “If you don’t have it, it means it’s not there.” Room 15’s sliding door was forever out of the rail - we had to call on about 2 occasions to have that sorted and each time we had to leave the room. Costs and time delays on our side. The decent thing to do would have been to have someone come to the room so we could show them exactly what we meant, because they don’t have to spend time in the room or sleep on those smelly pillows at night. The pool was not very inviting either, it looked like it was not cleaned for a very long time. When it comes to service, the staff are very rude. They would just barge into the room without greeting just because the door is not shut. Good service is an exchange of service between two parties - both parties are obliged, the patrons to pay and the service provider to render good service to their patrons. Good customer service provides an experience that meets clients’ expectations. I don’t have to know what the previous patrons did, but I surely do not have to suffer for it. We were certainly not looking for any special attention, just good service and a pleasant stay. Teach your staff to respect their patrons (yes THEIR patrons), because they represent your business.
The person at reception told me that I still owed R2000, but that was not true! I don't know if it was a fluke.
Not too expensive, slept very well and really enjoyed it.

We return here every year.
A very clean and friendly place.
The people are very friendly and helpful. I would have liked it if the hotel rooms also had their own braai place/grill and a remote control for the TV. Would recommend to anyone considering going there.
Will definitely go back soon!
It is a very nice place with friendly people. The whole place as a whole is very clean and tidy. The rooms make you feel like you're on a honeymoon. I will definitely stay there again.
Wonderful stay in a beautiful environment!
The place was like being home away from home. The people in the town were so friendly it was a pleasure to stay in Graskop. The food is amazing from the restaurants we visited in the area.
When we planned our visit we thought of staying in Sabie, but Graskop is more central if you want to explore the surroundings every day. In Graskop we didn't realize that we had picked the best lodge to stay at, as Magodi Lodge comes with a view as well. Thank you!
The rooms were clean, and the restaurant's food delicious. Rest assured with the safety of the lodge.
It was one of the best and most peaceful weekends ever, will definitely go back again!
A good base for area attractions. Clean and tidy.
My son got engaged there in June 2013 (which we as parents only heard after we got back). Had a great stay. Nature and beautiful view. Thank you very much!
Overall a fantastic time. Would make a booking here any time again.
It's not our first time staying here. Great!
No complaints, great stay.
Mogodi lodge is the best. I love the place as it was clean and homely. I'll be coming back soon!

We enjoyed our stay at Mogodi lodge, nice place to be,excellent service & friendly staff keep up the good, work
Very neat resort. Food at restaurant incredibly delicious. Would have stayed longer if there was a hot water indoor pool as there was nothing else to do in the rain!
Best value for money in the area and always very acommodating.
Value for money!
Staff very helpful, upon arrival half of my bathroom was under water due to a water leak at the toilet, and they immediately upgraded us to bigger and more expensive rooms without us having to pay extra. Great service!
It was very much welcoming and they know their customers by name. When we arrived at the place they knew we were coming and the place was nice prepared for visitors. Everything was there and it was very neat and a pleasant place to stay. I would like to thank the management at Mogodi Lodge on how they conducted themselves during our stay.
Breathtaking! It is a very nice and peaceful place, nice for a break.
Love the fog every now and then.
A beautiful place with friendly staff. We'll be definitely booking there on our next visit.

Mogodi Lodge impressed us as a comfortable and well appointed establishment. The room was clean and well equipped. The restaurant also provides good value for money and wholesome, tasty food are served. The only complaint is the hand shower which does not fit properly on its attachment in the bathroom ... it came loose when I was showering and struck me on the head! Otherwise, it is well worth the stay.
Was very nice. Excellent location and the staff friendly and helpful.
We had such a great time at Mogodi Lodge! While staying there you get to be in touch with nature and the service is magnificent.
Excellent location, very friendly staff and good hygiene maintained.
The accommodation was clean and safe. And when the fog settled through the night, there was a nice view of the gorge.
A cozy restaurant in the lodge with personal attention. This is a lovely overnight/stay place to explore the area.
Although it rained continuously while we were there, it was a nice stay. Seen and done a lot.
See the stars below.
Very peaceful and felt safe. Maybe just renovate their pool a bit.
We enjoyed our short stay at Mogodi Lodge. Thank you TravelGround for assisting me with various options and giving us this lovely place at such a great price. It was close to most major sites to visit and we found on the property they had the Big Swing.
Went with my spouse and another couple with their young daughter. Had a great stay and enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. Tried the big swing across the gorge as well. Stayed there before and will definitely recommend Mogodi Lodge as value for money.
Good value for money. We had a great stay.
Staff friendly and very professional. Accommodation is comfortable, a real homely feeling.
Lovely stay in a beautiful setting.
Everything was fine when we got there. The room was clean and tidy and everything in its place. The restaurant's food was very tasty and reasonably priced. The environment is very beautiful.

Bathroom was neat, and we 2 women felt very safe.
We just want to say thank you for a nice weekend at Mogodi Lodge, will use your service again, the facilities were great and we had a great time with our friends. Graskop is a beautiful town with nice places to visit and eat. Thank you very much Claudette for your help with the booking through LekkeSlaap, we appreciate your great service.
The lodge is cute and very clean, the staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Location is close to shops and flea markets, it's a great place to take a breather. We loved it!
Comfortable and clean unit.
We are very satisfied with our stay in the cottage there, we had a beautiful view and really enjoyed the beautiful Panorama route.
Very nice resort. Neat and value for money. Reception was already after 18:00 when we arrived, but at least the people helped us soon. Had friendly fast service.
Nicely situated, just out of the centre of Graskop. Good location to discover the Panorama Route. Friendly people, possibility to order breakfast/lunch packages. Fine restaurant! (There are not so many restaurants nearby). We stayed in one of the hotel rooms, comfortable.
Everything was neat and clean. However, there was no extra toilet paper, only a used roll in the holder. The kettle and the dustbin lid were broken. The toilet paper was replenished the next day and the boiler was replaced. Other than that it was very pleasant.
Great service, see the stars below.
The unit we used at Mogodi was clean. The only things i did not like and didn't know of before I went there are that: (1) the stove did not have an oven; (2) there was no en-suite bathroom and; (3)no air conditioner. Also, the swimming pool was not cleaned and we couldn't use it at all. Otherwise decent value for money.
Love the fact that its right by the big swing. However I expected better (ie: that grass would be cut and the swimming pool would be clean). It would have been great if we could have dined during the day at the restaurant. Didn't like the fact that they clean the chalet when you are not there (purely because some of my clothes went missing). Otherwise, a decent stay.
Single nights with 4 adults and 2 young children. Basic facilities were good. Location as a base for the surroundings is good. It was cold at night, but in any case there was a nice fireplace in the living room.
Would recommend to anyone!
Had a wonderful stay! Mogodi Lodge is a beautiful place!
Being winter, found the room was very cold, but an enjoyable stay besides that.
My wife and I stayed at Mogodi Lodge for a 5 day mid week holiday. Our accommodation type was described as a freestanding chalet which turned out to be a flatlet in an 8-flat block. Our first impression of the room was that it seemed very cozy and comfortable, nicely furnished, clean and tidy. It featured a micorwave oven, stove, fridge and TV with the typical DSTV bouquet of movies and sport. Here is what we really liked about our stay at Mogodi Lodge: The location of the lodge is really brilliant. Just outside of town and close to everything you want to do and see in the area. We felt the price level was right for this type of accommodation and enjoyed having both the option of eating out or preparing something for an easy night in. The bed was very comfortable and the lodge was quiet at night, resulting in real quality sleep and rest. What we didn't enjoy: The cleaning of the room was questionable. Everything looks clean on the surface, but when you look at the bottom of the coffee cups, the greasy film on the plates and the grime inside the pots and on the utensils you realise that you have to clean everything yourself again before using it. The lodge boasts braai facilities. These turned out to be a small portable grill and not at all what we expected. It worked fine after we found a spot on one of the lawns but we had expected a little more. But the thing that really caused us the most discomfort was being without water for a day and a half. We came back from a dinner in town one evening to the uncomfortable realisation that there was no water. We ended up having to boil some of the drinking water we had brought just to clean up a little. The next morning we were up really early for a day in the Kruger Park. We couldn't even brush our teeth or flush the toilet as there was still no water. On returning back late in the evening after a day of game driving the water was back - but not the hot water. At no time did management make any effort at finding out if we were comfortable or how the lack of water was affecting us. We found their lack of interest to be very disappointing.
The area is too close to the town and settlements. Didn't stay and just lost deposit. It is not a holiday place but rather an overnight destination if you want to sleep peacefully. It doesn't feel safe. The hotel room also does not have a refrigerator. The bathroom is poorly laid out and you have to shower in a small bathtub.
A very nice view! We had a nice meal at the on-site eatery and would go there again.

We definitely rested at Mogodi Lodge. It was peaceful, quiet and tidy. I will definitely use the hotel rooms again in the future.
Mogodi Lodge is recommended. The rooms are clean and the whole place has an open and peaceful atmosphere. The restaurant's service was great.
Will stay here again.
We stayed in a motel room. It was very clean and tidy and the beds, duvets, pillows and all the other things in the room were of good quality. We ate at their restaurant that evening. The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly and excellent. This is a beautiful area in which Mokgodi Lodge is located. Next to them are beautiful cliffs where there are swings for the adventurous. There are also stairs for the people who want to climb the mountain in a convenient way. We can recommend Mokgodi Lodge to anyone.
We had a enjoyable stay, great place, great view and great value for money.
It is a charming place, and I recommend it to any nature lover.
Very surprised at the size of the chalets. Spacious, clean and homely. Everything you need is there. Great restaurant! The place is just fantastic and we will definitely return for a longer stay. Xx
The reception was very friendly. I asked for extra glasses, and got them. The unit is perhaps a bit small, and a sink for your knives/plates might help. The bunk beds are better for younger people. Overall, we really enjoyed it, and the restaurant's food was also very nice.
Good.
Good stay, value for money, safe, clean.
Mogodi Lodge is well located in a central area.
Had a lovely weekend!
Very nice and clean, perfect.
Accommodation is very good. Can only recommend that better braai facilities can be placed near chalet nos 11 - 14. Thank you for the clean towels every day. This is definitely a plus point.
My family and I had a verycomfortable stay. Had we known it would be such lovely accomadation we may have stayed a extra day. We will be back in the future
Pleasant and neat accommodation but found it's a bit too expensive if only occupied by 2 people (large groups would be better).
Very pleasant and will visit the place again.
Great location, very safe.
Those who want to stay in Graskop, midway from Sabie and Kruger National Park, should come to Mogodi Lodge - this is the best place to stay.
The only thing I was a bit disappointed with was that there was nowhere to watch the rugby...
Received very pleasant services - excellent. Will come again.
We were slightly disappointed with the resort itself. The chalet was well equipped. More activities on the resort should be made available, e.g. a clean swimming pool, pit-pit, table tennis and squash. The restaurant must also be open in the afternoons.
The towels were a little used, but otherwise the stay was very pleasant.
I will definitely go back it was very nice and neat an relaxing and quite. The rooms are nice and accommodating. It was neat and clean.
Kitchen utensils not great & cottage not ready when we arrived in the afternoon. Otherwise we had a lovely stay here at Mogodi Lodge.
Cold, no heating except fireplace. Water pressure is a problem if you want to shower, otherwise good.
Disappointed that unit does not have mini fridge. Fan is also missing.
The chalet is big enough that you don't feel cramped. The service was helpful but there is not much privacy - would recommend family chalets for better value for money.
See the stars below.
Generally spacious, neat and clean, except for a dirty bathroom. Reception is aware of it and they are working on it. We were looking forward to finishing our last evening with a delicious meal in the restaurant, but we were then told by a lady there that they had a private function and "They should have told you when you booked in ". I don't know who "they" are, but no one warned and there was also NO notice at Reception (20 m away) or at the restaurant's door. (I was there in the morning and there was no notice on it.) Something tells me they feel sorry for resident guests because they weren't willing to make ANY effort or take responsibility themselves to ensure that guests are warned. The lady did refer us to a friend's place in Graskop, but that's not where we wanted to be.
It was convenient and affordable during the Christmas holidays.
Will rather visit in May month, when mist not so thick, if you want to have a quiet holiday, I recommend unit no. 14. Thank you for this opportunity, all that needs attention is the fact that woman battle to do their make-up and hair, as there are no plugs near mirrors to plug hairdryers into.
Mogodi is practically in town for your necessities and food. A real central point to so many nature sites. There are even visitors that use Graskop as stepping stone to the Kruger. The staff was very helpful and friendly from reception right through to the cleaning ladies.
Excellent service. Mogodi Lodge is highly recommended to family and friends. 5-Star hospitality received as well at "Koweni's Lookout" Restaurant.
Superb service.
Was a very homely atmosphere and had a most enjoyable time. Loved the view and definitely a holiday to remember.
Restaurant was excellent but the accommodation was average. I will stay there again and recommend it to those who want a quiet place with no interruptions and good food. This is not a grand hotel so do not expect a 5 star hotel - it's basic but they provide just enough for a good stay.
The place is great and quite suitable for any event. It is a home away from home. Loved it!
We had a wonderful stay at Mogodi Lodge. The staff at the lodge are really friendly and make you feel at home. The lodge is very central to all sight seeing activities, making it a suitable place to stay if you wish to see all the beautiful wonders, within Mpumalanga.
Close to all places of interest.
Stunning.
Mogodi is well situated, very clean and excellent value for money
I really enjoyed my stay there, the Lodge is located close to all the nice places I wanted to see again. The ultimate experience was going on the high wire - I was a bit afraid of the swing. The walk down to the waterfall was amazing as well.nI will definitely go there again and take my friends with me. When I get married again, I will do it at there.
Very well situated to visit all the popular places in the area.
Good and friendly service! Very relaxing stay!
Its a nice place and will definetely go back as its clean nice and easy to find
Excellent customer service, we were in Graskop for the first time and will go again!
We enjoyed our stay at the lodge and felt it was a great deal for the money! Would be great for a group of friends traveling out to Kruger.
We had a very nice stay in the lodge. Good restaurant, friendly service. Central to the Lowveld and attractions. We enjoyed the fresh air and the beautiful landscapes. A pity we could not stay longer. Jan & Margon.
We enjoy staying at low-cost overnight, and have to say Mogodi Lodge was outstanding value for what we paid. Thank you for keeping the mid-income class in mind!!
The only problem was that we booked for a double bed, only to find two single beds in the room.We had to combine them to form a double bed.
Mogodi lodge is a lovely, safe place.
Mogodi Lodge is a good place to be. We enjoyed our stay.
Accommodation was spacious and clean. We felt safe and there was visible security, who assisted us with our early morning departure. We will definitely visit again when we are in that area. The food in the restaurant on the premises was excellent as well.
Enjoyable - however the bikers who parked in front of our rooms were very noisy.
Would love to visit the place again, bery cool place and very accommodating
It was incredibly nice at Mogodi Lodge. They are situated near all the places one should visit while in the area, such as God's window, Portholes and the Drie rondavels. The only thing I would ask them to address is the fact the gate is left open 24/7 with no security by the gate. Howeve we had a stunning time and would recommend.
We loved every moment of our stay at Mogodi! We toured most of the day, but we still enjoyed coming back to the chalet in the afternoon - having a braai, the pool, a place for the kids to cycle, the Big Swing, walked to the bottom of the gorge, everything was stunning! Chalet was always clean and neat when we arrived back in the afternoons - well done to the cleaning staff! And then we have already recommended the restaurant on-site to all our friends - even if you're not staying at Mogodi, go and give it a try! Well done to Johan and his staff - great place!nWe'll definitely be back!nOne last thing and you'll have noticed I rated safty low, and want to clarify that the actual safety of your belongings in the chalets is no problem, we just felt that there should be some sort of entrance control at the gates.nThanks to all at Mogodi for a wonderful time!
Was great, however I would suggest that the owners pay more attention to the cleanliness. Other than this we had a wonderful stay in our spacious chalet.
Great for a quick get-away very neat and friendly
I've stayed at Mogodi Lodge before and must say that it's always a pleasant experience.
Only problem I could find was the geysers was too small and there was no hot water.
The place are clean, save and beautiful. PLEASE NO SMOKING!!!!!!!!
Neat and clean and we had a pleasant stay
It was Lovely. Clean rooms, heaters, peacefull and the location is perfect for touring the Panorama route.
We had a lovely holiday, my son especially enjoying the foefie slide. The scenery is lovely and people very friendly, a lovely part of the world to visit. Thanks for everything
The reception was abit of an off put and the gentleman said we had not paid the full amount even though it was printed out by ourselves as well as yourselves. Quite embarrasing as we had another couple with us. The chalet was lovely, only problem was one toilet, with four people this was a problem. The complex toilets outside were locked and we could not gewt a key during the night for access, also we were requested to pay for this facility. The kitchen appliances where not up to standard, some missing and not matching tops of dishes. No oven, sharp knife or potatoe peeler. Plactic garden chairs and table as a diningroom table and the lounge suite was dirty and torn cushions. No dish wshing liquid supplied so we had to leave dirty dishes. We would go back but would be better prepared.
