Lorraine received us warmly and quickly made us feel at home. Units were neat and clean and had everything we would need. Lorraine was always available if we needed anything. She and her husband are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again and will definitely recommend to others looking for a nice place to sleep. The garden view is fantastic.

From the moment we arrived and all through our stay, the hosts were most friendly, caring and helpful. The accommodation was spacious and great value for money. The location in the area we required, with the large, beautiful garden, affords a convenient, quiet and wonderful stay. A big thank you to all the family. Staying at Mohale Rest and Retreat was worth every penny. The reception from the host was welcoming and friendly. Mohale Rest and Retreat is in a very peaceful environment and accessible to nearby shops and restaurants. You simply experience the peace and calm when you drive into the gate. The facilities were clean and tidy and all information and rules were communicated by the owner on arrival, which made it unnecessary to ask unnecessary questions from time to time.

Very nice stay, but they will have to make their roof fans higher. It happened that my thumb was affected and I had to go to the hospital and theater to fix my thumb. Furthermore, a very nice place. Will go again but will have to fix that.

Rooms are bigger than they appear in the photographs, and the gardens are beautiful and provide a relaxing atmosphere. It was affordable and comfortable. The only problem we had was that when load-shedding was suddenly announced, there was no torch or candles available in the room, but I suppose these days, that is a necessity one should actually pack along with your toothbrush.

I chose Mohale Rest and Retreat so that I can take time out to give my soul rest and find renewal in God. That is exactly what I received there. The garden is peaceful and the scenery tranquil. Lorraine and Piet, the hosts, were very accommodating when I needed anything and is very in tuned with what one needs on a week of rest. The small chapel was perfect for talking to God and spending quality time with Him. During my retreat, God restored my soul and brought healing to me. This was rather needed after our family suffered a great loss. I am grateful that God has given Lorraine and Piet this vision to open Mohale.
I had to sleep there with my animal and Mohale Rest was the only lodging facility that responded immediately and accepted it. The owner also made all adjustments for the rest of the time to make it possible to stay longer despite an unpredictable program for the next 4 days due to my animal's possible surgery at the nearby Onderstepoort Animal Hospital. Well equipped rooms, spacious, warm, delicious hot water, beautiful garden and surroundings, secure. I felt very welcome and at home. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful place. The room was spacious and clean with plenty of storage space. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch and as keen bird watchers it was ideal. The owner and staff were friendly and very helpful and went out of their way to help solve a problem. One of the only places that were really wheelchair friendly. Would definitely recommend it for wheelchair users. Bathroom was properly equipped, room is spacious with enough space to move around in a wheelchair and the area is lovely.
