Mohlabetsi Self-catering Bush Lodge is nestled in the stunning Balule Private Game Reserve within the Greater Kruger National Park, offering charming, thatched accommodations with breathtaking views of the bushveld.

This private lodge features a standalone entertainment area and five air-conditioned bedrooms, accommodating up to 10 guests. Each room offers stunning vistas of the bushveld and overlooks a popular waterhole. The rooms are each furnished with either a queen-size bed or 2 single beds. The rooms are all en-suite with outside showers or baths. Bedroom 1 has both an inside and outside shower; bedroom 2 has an outside shower; bedroom 3 has an inside shower and an outside bath; and bedrooms 4 and 5 have outside showers.

The main area includes a kitchen, pantry, bar, dining area, and sitting area, all set in a modern setting. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, oven, gas stove, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The living area includes a dining table, a fireplace, and comfortable couches. Numerous stacking doors open to the swimming pool and braai area, as well as the deck overlooking the waterhole.

Guests can also experience the world-renowned, majestic South African sunsets with a private sundowner stop during their safari, arranged by the guide. The lodge features a backup power system for the main lights and fridges in case of load-shedding. The 12,000-hectare traverse within the Balule Private Nature Reserve, at the heart of the Greater Kruger National Park, is home to a variety of wildlife, including the Big 5, and offers endless views of untouched wilderness.
