It was a very nice and happy stay my kids were very sad to have to leave so quickly. There only problem was the shower that blocked, which I think it is a minor plumbing issue that can be fixed. Other than that it was a perfect get away I would come back soon.
The owner has put a lot of effort into furnishing it nicely.
It was perfect for our dogs. You have your own yard where the dogs are safe. It's a very nice place to stay and totally worth it, especially if you have dogs.
Joana is very hospitable and makes so much effort for her guests! A real home away from home, down to a small garden for the four-legged children. Everything that needs self-catering, just a stone's throw from the beach.
The owner, Joana, is a kind and welcoming lady. The place has more than any money we paid. You feel at home with all available materials at your unit. The kids enjoyed the big space outside and it's central and close to many places. I would certainly recommend it and I would not dream of staying anywhere else when am in East London. Place was dirty on arrival. Toaster still full of cheese. Unsafe to go to the beach. Had to drive to other beaches.
We stayed as a family of 4 and had a braai with 3 additional relatives. We were so happy with the accommodation, the amenities and the warm welcome we received from Joana which made it a truly memorable experience and would recommend Moments and Memories to anyone.

The place is neat and clean. Would've preferred a sheet on the bed and sponge pillows. Otherwise, we had a very nice stay and the ocean is nearby.

Our stay was fabulous. The double bed and shower was a bit difficult to use as it's either too hot or to cold but our stay in general was stunning, our host was very friendly and eager to make us comfy as can be.

The apartment is very nicely laid out with apparently leftover furniture from the house. Kitchen well equipped. No WiFi as promised. The mattresses are very weak and you lie down, very uncomfortable.

Beautiful place, with a lot of attention paid to the decor and the extras that are provided. Will definitely come back again. One might just have to specify that the second bedroom is a walk-through room to the first bedroom so it is perfect for families but just so that friends who want to share are aware of it. Really a lovely place, many thanks also to the owner for wonderful hospitality!
Excellent location, excellent service and the daily cleaning service was icing on the cake! Despite the conditions for the trip, we had a very nice stay - despite the fact that between three adults we couldn't get the gas hot water system temperature (tongue in cheek)! However, the weather put a damper on the excellent location as we would have liked to make use of the short distance from the water! The owners went out of their way to accommodate us, taking into account that I had to get accommodation very late the afternoon in order to get our sick child urgently to hospital. It is a beautiful place, tastefully furnished, walking distance from the beach and child friendly. The only little thing I would've liked extra would've been wine glasses and a bottle opener. The rest is all there.
It's a wonderful place. Very nicely located. 500 m to the beach. Shops are nearby. Very quiet environment.
