We enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse. It was clean and neat and nicely furnished. We had two rooms but one was not entirely suitable for our teenage children as they didn't want to share a double bed. The bathrooms were neat and clean but had no doors. Privacy was provided with a curtain, but that would make us think twice about staying there again. Also, the beds were warm and comfortable and there were electric blankets but the blankets felt heavy and were difficult to move. They were perhaps tucked in too tightly and too deeply at the bottom of the bed.
I can highly recommend Bernie's place. We have stayed there 2 times now, both times for 3 nights. It is a lovely, peaceful place.

The rooms are very spacious and tastefully furnished. The main house has a living room and dining room for the family and friends to hang out with. The gardens are too beautiful. We enjoyed a tasty breakfast the next morning.
