31 guests' feedbackThank you very much for the opportunity to provide feedback. However, many things are missing. I would love to do a quote to renovate a beautiful guest house. There are 2 major problems, 1 of which poses a health risk. Otherwise, satisfied.
The stay was perfect, sense of security as soon as we drove in.
The 1st night the power was off, we couldn't charge our phones, and the next morning we couldn't make coffee. The 2nd night we were kept awake all night by other guests who made terrible noise in the parking area between 2am and 5am. They were not silenced by managers once. The women who work there helped us sort out our transport the next day.
Room was not ready when we booked at half past 3. Got a dirty room. Cold shower.
First of all there was no toilet paper, and the TV and remote did not work. At 2:00 am there were guests who started a party in the room next door. There was no control over guests who misbehaved. At 3:30 am, I contacted the management to discipline the guests. This type of behaviour should not be tolerated.

Overslept one night. Very clean and tidy. Comfortable bed.
On arrival we were informed of a water outage in relation to our unit No. 2. After six hours without water, they offered to move us to No. 8. Once there we were disappointed to discover that the toilet seat was a cheap plastic one and broken. Furthermore, the window was plain glass and the blind did not work. Then we were moved to No. 7 which was much better but not perfect. Had to ask for Openview remote. Bathroom sliding door did not have an interior handle. One bedside lamp did not work. All in all disappointing.
It was just very unprofessional for me that the receptionist comes to check you out in the morning with a towel around her body and slippers on.
Big drunken party was held around the swimming pool the next day. Very messy and noisy - bottles and rubbish scattered all over the place. Zero consideration for other guests.
At the time we made our booking, it was made for 7 people with the following arrangements: 3 x Double Rooms and 1 x Luxury Room. At the point of arrival, they did not even bother to look at what was booked and paid for, but rather just allocated and assigned the people who showed up. As one couple was unable to join, this resulted in one single room (even though a double room was booked), and two double rooms. The luxury room was completely unavailable. When contacted, they then spun stories around what the group had said to them which were outright lies. As it currently stands, we are out of pocket R860, because of their shocking organizational skills. I will add that as a booking agency the website has not been helpful in the slightest in resolving this matter, and merely pointed us to deal with this horror show of a guest house even further, to no avail. Very disappointing experience all around, which is unfortunate because we have always had an exceptional experience using this platform.
My stay was okay, up until the morning around 6 am. The employees were making noise in the kitchen and I was still asleep.
No TV remote after 3 requests. One towel for the 3, we later got another one when we asked. Many guests who sit in their cars and listen to music in the parking area until 2 in the morning. No Covid procedures! No masks or no sanitizer.
Just a few issues: TV not working and bedside lamp not working. Also bedroom not cleaned on Sunday morning. Other than that it was very clean, neat and tidy. Nice linen and comfortable bed.
Had cold water for shower and the air conditioner does not make it cold. Ceiling looks a bit neglected as well as the toilet seat, plus there is no bathroom bin. Was a little disappointed, but it was still a pleasant stay.
The bedding was not clean and the DStv did not work while they say all rooms have DStv.
First they said they don't know about our booking. Eventually they found the confirmation email on their bookings list. No toilet seat, mould growing everywhere in bathroom. Shower too dirty to use. Broken taps. Surprised this place is even listed on the website.
We arrived to them not having a booking for us. They run around not telling us what is going on. We had a wedding to get to and we're almost late due to this. Luckily they had a room open, Room 3. They gave us the key but no remote and I had to go ask for one which took up even more of our time. The room was to a certain degree clean however there is a lot of damage on the walls, mould in the bathroom (ceiling) and the shower floor is not clean. There was only one set of towels in the room and the plug next to the bed was loose and shorted the next morning when we tried to use it. During the evening the other occupants were very loud and woke us up more than once that night/early morning. Not a pleasant stay, we were up very early the next morning just to get home. The photos are obviously old as the rooms have a lot of wear and tear on them and maintenance is needed.
The room is clean and bedding is a good quality.
At least they can put soap in the bathroom. Their TV channels were not working. Guests may expect better TV/DSTV channels. They can ensure that the aircon is sorted out as soon as the guest enters.
It was very pleasant to stay there. Good reception and excellent service. I would recommend them anytime. Thank you very much for a clean, tidy room and safe parking.
The place is very neat and clean. I would just recommend that maybe they put hand soap in the bathroom and milk at the coffee station.
Our host did not speak English well, so we struggled to communicate with him and get information about where to go and what to do around town etc. The set up was not what I expect from a professional business in the hospitality industry. Breakfast was disappointing, cold eggs on toast with margarine and vienna sausages. I expected more for the R90 I paid for it.

Perfectly comfortable for what we needed the room for. Only negative is that we only had 1 towel. But we managed fine!
Owner very "hands on" makes guests feel at home and welcome. No disturbance through night, quiet neighborhood and safe. Happy to recommend, thank you very much.
Not full DStv and too little coffee with only powdered milk. Clean and tidy. Quiet and peaceful environment.

Find accommodation reasonable. Bathroom can be renovated. Do not leave carpets clean. Door that closes bathroom out of order.
The bed has already been slept in a bit.
