It's a very nice place, the people are friendly and very affordable.
Unit equipped with everything you need.
The lady who lives there doesn't give us enough time to get our things ready if we have to drive that day. She is very unpleasant.

I want to compliment LekkeSlaap with your prompt service and quick feedback. What we appreciated about Mondu is that we could stay two separate nights and there was no problem with that. Some of the other places expected it to be two consecutive nights. I would recommend Mondu anytime.

Quiet area relaxing, private, would definitely book again.
The place is much better than we expected, nice and quiet and private (head opener).
We were very impressed with the accommodation. It was clean and tidy and there was everything we needed. Mimi even provided coffee, sugar and milk. She was very friendly and helpful. We had the room with the little garden and enjoyed drinking our morning coffee outside on the veranda. Value for money accommodation and we would love to stay there again.

It was nice in Jeffrey's but the guest house was too expensive for what you get.
Upon arrival we found that there was no hot water. After calling the owner we were told that she would investigate. We were later told that the power had "tripped". Our opinion is that before guests arrive the owner must ensure that everything is in working order. Refrigerator was not on at all. Bathroom door not private at all, swing doors of shutters with some shutters broken.
Definitely the right place for an overnight stay and value for money. Will stay there again.

No breakfast is provided, even though it is advertised as a B&B.
A bit far from beach. But environment is peaceful. Place needs a little renovation and paint then it could be a lovely place. Value for money? Not at all. We paid too much.
Little bit disappointed when we arrived, it was cold and wet and we wanted to take a hot bath. First of all, there were no towels, we had to go find an open shop to buy. There was no hot water. We had a lovely meal at a restaurant that evening. It was cold and wet again, at least there was hot water then, but only a few drops then there is no water. Early the next morning we had no water, not even for the toilet and after a while the water was brown. Around 09:00 in the morning we realized there was a water problem in the area. I just feel the lady from the guesthouse could have at least just sent us a message or come to say there was a problem with water, then at least we would have known what the problem was. When I gave the key back to her she didn't even apologize and I think that's very poor.
I feel the fact that an almost 2 year old child also had to pay full price was really unnecessary.

Everything was clean and tidy. There was nice hot water and the hospitality warmed our hearts. We slept like stones and will definitely recommend you and use you again. Thank you very much for everything!

It was not pleasant. There was no fridge in the room to keep things cold, only a microwave to heat something up and nothing else. It is also not 800 m from the sea. It is rather 2 km from the sea, if not further. Advertisement also reads that breakfast will be on request, but poster in room says she lives in the Cape so breakfast will not be available! sorry. There are also no card facilities.
The person I dealt with was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had almost everything we needed (except a couple of plates and cutlery), but we enjoyed our stay.
