We had a great stay and were very satisfied.
It was absolutely lovely. The only issue we had was the cleanliness; the place was very dusty, and with my little family having really bad sinus, we suffered a bit. The service was spectacular. Thanks a ton. We had a great time.

Friendly host, clean and tidy accommodation! Exactly what I was looking for, and got exactly what was advertised. Will use Monkey Lodge again for a visit to Durban.
Monkey Valley Lodge wasn't fantastic, but it didn't cost a fortune either. Andrew was pleasant and has a lot to do with your general impression of the place. He makes it better than it is. The monkeys were a bit troublesome when hanging out outside, but we still had a nice twilight barbecue.
Andrew was very helpful and kept his promise to make sure the free Wi-Fi was available the next day.

It was pleasant to stay there. We were treated wonderfully and were made to feel very welcome. He went out of his way to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable.
Measure as enough for two nights' stay. Close to the Spar and eatery.
I would definitely go back again and I recommend the place to all my friends and family. It's not perfect but it is a really comfortable and convenient accommodation. The owner is a very kind person.
Perfect accommodation for short stay, some of the plugs are not operational
Monkey Valley Lodge is definitely worth the money if you just want to lay down your head and enjoy the outdoors. We were warmly welcomed. We took out own bedding along just in case. The one air-con blew hot air every now and then, but helped most of the time.
It is very neat. We just want to recommend that at least some milk should be placed in the fridge, because after eight hours of bus travel, a cup of coffee with milk would at least be delicious. There was also no soap at the sink to even wash your hands.
This accommodation is not maintained. Old beds, musty smelling rooms and awful kitchen and bathroom. Extremely disappointed. What was advertised was not what we got.
Was disappointing. Wake up with massive cockroaches in your bed and very cramped.
We were warmly received by Mr. Watson. The accommodation was excellent. The place is very close to the beach.
Place was advertised as having a pool deck and outdoor barbeque area. The pool is only for one of the rooms as the pool is in front of their door. Cannot use pool without invading other residents' privacy. Kitchen was not clean, neither was the bathroom. Parking was a bit of a problem, although the owner moved his own vehicle to park outside on the street. Gate is open all day and people come in looking for the owner and knock on your door. The whole essay was not very professionally done.
I was very disappointed with the accommodation and will not use it again at all, it was an absolute disappointment.
