We were kindly received by the owner and taken to the room. The room is very tastefully finished and everything, from the pure white bedding to the towels, was sparkling clean and fresh. The guest house is in a very quiet area of the town, so one can sleep peacefully without any outside noise. An exquisite breakfast was served the next morning as one would really only expect from a large hotel. We will most definitely stay here again in the future. The place was very nice clean and tidy and looked brand new. The rooms are well equipped and spacious. The reception was friendly and very helpful. Middelburg is a beautiful town and Montarie is perfectly located.
As we arrived, we received a very warm and hearty welcome by Marie who welcomed us to our room. We stayed in Montarie 2 and we were blown away by the beautifully modern and exceptionally clean room. Marie has really thought of and provided everything that you would possibly need for a relaxing and fulfilling stay and more! And to top it all off, we had their breakfast before our long drive home, and their breakfast is delicious! We highly recommend Montarie and thank Marie for an amazing experience.

We were so surprised with the beautiful place in Middelburg. I have never seen such a clean guesthouse and very nicely furnished. Marie, the owner, is the cutest person, who went out of her way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. I would recommend the guesthouse to anyone with one word: fantastic!

Montarie Guest Accommodation has all the necessary features of a good practical accommodation. There is plenty of room and space for parking. The room with separate bathroom is very well furnished. The bed and bedding are beautifully clean and very neat. Bedside lamps on both sides of the bed can be easily switched on and off and you don't have to look under the bed for the switch. Power plugs are available wherever one needs them. Two different height tables can be used for computer. Fridge plus microwave oven. Is well furnished with an electric kettle and coffee, tea and biscuits. The bathroom is spacious and again very neat. The shower head is quite large and water pressure is very good. Furthermore, the room has a lot of light from the outside due to the large sliding door and two large windows. Breakfast in the mornings is also excellent and one can choose many variations. Finally, the owner Marie is extremely helpful and very friendly. It's absolutely a fantastic place for overnight or long term accommodation.
