Original room's stairs to the toilet were too much for my wife. The Warden immediately offered us another room. The owner was very accommodating. We are extremely impressed. Thank you very much Louis, Jakob and Maria.
Very friendly host, good budget stay, no luxury but pleasant enough. Some maintenance needed (door knob, lamp switch etc), but overall OK.
Jacob and his family were great. Felt like we stayed with family. The cleaning can be improved.
Very welcoming host and his wife. Shower water system a bit rickety.
Place needs attention, a bit neglected. Not ready on arrival. Toilet seat broken. Fan wall plug unsafe.
Cleanliness and carpets all over, even in bathrooms. The kitchen is full of empty tins and mess.

Louis (the owner) was very helpful and responded very quickly to inquiries and was on hand with advice. Jakob and his family who run the place received us very kindly and Jakob served a delicious breakfast at 6:00 in the morning - it was truly a special service. The decor is a bit old-fashioned, but it was neat and clean and was perfect as an overnight stay on the way to the Drakensberg.

It met my need perfectly, seeing that I want to make or arrange my own breakfast, and precisely leave early and because it is close to the main road and shops to be convenient but quiet at the same time. Will definitely stay there again.
However, care and concern needs to be exercised on housekeeping. Our child's small ball rolled under the bed and when he reached to get it, he came out with thick dust on himself.
Had a great stay. Fully equipped. However, children missed a TV.
Flat beautiful, neat and safe. Unfortunately it is close to the N3. The noise of the traffic is very unpleasant. It bothered us so much that we left a day earlier. There was also a problem with water, don't know the reason for it, but I haven't received any feedback from the owner. Price of flat equal to other B&B's, will stay at a different place next time.
