Very nice stay with enough play space for the children.
For the price, the dinner was very ordinary. The fillet was not "trimmed". Rooms were very large and had everything.
The service from each and every one of the staff was excellent.
We booked and paid for the family unit, but unfortunately we were allocated two separate rooms, which was inconvenient and did not make us feel safe that our sons had to sleep separately from us. We were advised that we could move to the room we originally booked the next day, but it was not available as we had to be at my sons' sports event very early the next morning and only arrived at the guest house after 19:00. The dinner is also very expensive for what you get. It was indicated that we would get rump, but unfortunately, it was sirloin, which was terribly tough and full of tendons. Moreover, it wasn't cooked to our liking. Additionally, the breakfast also leaves a lot to be desired. For example, we could not order omelettes or French toast. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the room where our sons slept did not work, and we called the number indicated on the receipt letter, but no one answered. Only a WhatsApp message was sent at 12:00 that evening, which we only saw the following morning. The air conditioning was fixed the next day, for which we were grateful. The pool was also very dirty and full of insects, especially dead bees. The hairdryer in our room could not be used due to the fact that there were no suitable wall plugs for it.
The dining area and pool area is perfect, with a great view of the farmlands in the area. The service was exceptional (thank you, Marshal and Superman). The meals were amazing as well. Definitely will be back.

We stayed here for an overnight stop. We had a family room. It was very neat, clean and spacious. The meals were also delicious! Andre was very hospitable and made us feel very welcome. I can recommend Mooiplaas to anyone.

Lovely farm atmosphere, beautiful clean and tidy accommodation. The food is a big treat! The service of the staff is top notch! Superman John is a gem when it comes to customer service and André's caring personality made the visit very special. We will definitely visit Mooiplaas again as a family. Had a wonderful two night stay, travelling as a family with two young children. Lots to do and see in the surrounding area, and in town which is less than a ten minute drive away. The staff were very friendly, and the service efficient. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable and well appointed. The views whilst having breakfast on the lawns was splendid. Thanks.
